BOSS LM is the landscape and snow product of BOSS®, built by The Integra Group — a St. Louis software company operating since 1999 whose clients include a NYSE-listed fertilizer producer and commercial barge fleets. It’s enterprise business management software, and Integra says so themselves. This comparison is about which one fits the size of business you’re actually running.
These two products are built for opposite ends of the market, and The Integra Group says it plainly on their own site: “If you want software that’s simply going to help you sustain what you’re doing, BOSS® may not be the best choice for you,” and they guarantee it’s the last software you’ll need “even if you’re measuring growth in tens of millions of dollars of revenue.” Capterra lists BOSS at $1,500 per month as vendor-supplied data, with no free trial. Their lead form asks for company revenue in bands running to “Over $100 Million,” and the sales process is four stages: Executive Overview, Demo, Discovery, Go Live. QuoteIQ publishes five tiers from $29.99 to $699, runs a 14-day trial on every one, and is set up same-day. If you run a multi-division operation with landscape, snow and other business lines and want a platform partner with consulting attached, BOSS is genuinely built for that. If you’re a one-to-ten person landscaping crew, QuoteIQ is built for you.
TL;DR: BOSS LM is one SKU of BOSS® (Business Operations Support System) from The Integra Group, founded 1999 near St. Louis. Unusually for this category, it is independently owned — Integra publishes a dedicated page describing itself as an evergreen company, meaning no private-equity backing and no exit intent. That makes it the rare competitor in this series that isn’t part of a roll-up like ServiceTitan, WorkWave or Granum. The company says it serves 21,000+ users and drives over $40 billion in client revenue annually; those are company claims, unaudited, and we’re reporting them as such. Its named clients span landscape firms like Hoffman Landscapes and Engledow Group alongside CF Industries and SCF Marine, and BOSS covers landscape and snow, field service, food service, supply chain, moving and logistics, and maritime — Integra built one of the first comprehensive platforms for barge fleet management. It publishes no pricing on its own site; Capterra’s vendor-supplied listing shows $1,500 per month and confirms no free trial, with a 5.0 rating from just two reviews. QuoteIQ publishes $29.99 to $699 with a 14-day trial, five native AI products including AI Estimator and Virtual Call Team, and coverage across 50+ trades. Per the U.S. Small Business Administration, the overwhelming majority of landscaping businesses operate well below the revenue bands BOSS’s own lead form is built around.
This comparison is written differently from the others on this site, and it’s worth explaining why before you read it.
Most software comparisons lean on hundreds of verified user reviews. BOSS LM has almost none — two reviews on Capterra, both five stars, both posted in 2021. No G2 profile. No Software Advice or GetApp listing. That’s not a criticism of the product; it reflects a company that sells through trade shows, industry press and referrals rather than review-site marketplaces. Their own lead form lists “Magazine Ad,” “Snow TV,” GIE and SIMA as how people find them. For contrast, QuoteIQ is bought directly by lawn care and landscaping operators online, which is why its review record runs to thousands rather than dozens.
The practical consequence is that there is no independent evidence base for any claim about how well BOSS LM works — positive or negative. Several pages online characterise its capabilities unfavourably; every one we found traces back to a direct competitor’s own marketing. We’re not going to repeat that as fact about a private company we can’t verify.
So every factual claim on this page comes from one of two places: The Integra Group’s own published materials, or Capterra’s vendor-supplied listing data. We make no claims about BOSS LM’s features, quality, reliability or support, because we cannot verify any. What we can compare is what both companies publish about who they’re built for, what they cost, and how you buy them — and on those points the difference is large and clearly documented.
The clearest guidance on fit isn’t ours. It’s on Integra’s own landscaping page, and it’s admirably direct:
“If you want software that’s simply going to help you sustain what you’re doing, BOSS® may not be the best choice for you. That’s because the BOSS® platform is specifically designed to target business inefficiencies and transform those problems into sustainable growth… we guarantee BOSS® is the last software you’ll ever need—even if you’re measuring growth in tens of millions of dollars of revenue.“
— The Integra Group, landscape software page, verified July 27, 2026. Most vendors won’t tell you who they’re not for. Credit where it’s due.Two other signals point the same direction, both from Integra’s own site. Their contact form asks prospects to select annual revenue from bands running “Under $1 Million” through “Over $100 Million.” And the buying process is described in four stages — Executive Overview, Demo, Discovery, then Go Live — which is an enterprise sales motion with a discovery phase, not a signup flow. Both are entirely reasonable for the customer they’re targeting. Neither describes a solo operator with a truck and a trailer.
That’s the whole comparison, honestly stated. BOSS is enterprise business management software sold through a consultative process to established multi-division companies. QuoteIQ is $29.99 a month, you sign up yourself, and you’re quoting jobs the same afternoon. Neither is a better product in the abstract — they’re built for businesses at completely different stages.
Integra publishes no pricing on their website. The only public figure available is Capterra’s vendor-supplied listing, which shows a starting price of $1,500 per month and confirms no free trial is offered. As with every vendor-supplied Capterra figure, treat it as an indication rather than a quote — but it’s the only number in circulation, and it’s consistent with the revenue bands on Integra’s own lead form.
| Commercial term | QuoteIQ | BOSS LM |
|---|---|---|
| Published pricing on own site | Yes — five tiers in dollars | None |
| Starting price | $29.99/month | $1,500/month, per Capterra |
| Free trial | 14 days, every plan | None |
| How you buy | Sign up yourself online | 4-stage sales process with discovery |
| Time to first quote | Same day | After Go Live phase |
| Revenue bands on lead form | n/a — no form | Under $1M to Over $100M |
| Contract terms | Month-to-month | Not published |
| Independent review record | 4,103 mobile reviews at 4.7★ | 2 Capterra reviews, both 5★, 2021 |
On that last row, in fairness to Integra: two reviews is too small a sample to draw any conclusion from, in either direction. Both are five stars, both from construction-sector customers, and one describes BOSS becoming “the backbone of how we operate on a daily basis.” A thin review record for a company selling through trade shows and referrals is expected — it tells you about their go-to-market, not their software.
For scale on the pricing gap: at Capterra’s listed figure, BOSS starts around $18,000 a year. QuoteIQ Max — the most expensive plan we sell, with unlimited users, route optimization, the full AI suite and a website builder — is $8,388 a year. QuoteIQ Essentials is $360. Those aren’t competing price points; they’re different categories of purchase.
These are all verifiable from Integra’s own published materials, and several are things QuoteIQ makes no attempt to offer.
BOSS spans landscape and snow, field service, food service, supply chain, moving and logistics, and marine — Integra says it built one of the first comprehensive platforms for maritime logistics and barge fleet management. QuoteIQ has nothing comparable.
Integra publishes a dedicated page describing itself as an evergreen company — no private-equity ownership, no exit timeline. In a category where most competitors belong to ServiceTitan, WorkWave or Granum, that independence is genuinely uncommon.
Named clients include CF Industries, a NYSE-listed fertilizer producer, and SCF Marine, alongside landscape firms Hoffman Landscapes, Engledow Group, Gardens of Babylon and U.S. Lawn & Landscape.
Integra began in 1999 building bespoke software before productising BOSS, and still offers tailored builds. For a company with genuinely unusual operational requirements, that’s a capability off-the-shelf software can’t match.
Integra positions BOSS as “a partner, not a product,” pairing the platform with business process consulting and running BOSS University for customer training. That’s a different value proposition to self-serve software.
Founded 1999 and still operating independently, with a presence at GIE and SIMA. Longevity in software is a real signal, particularly for a buyer making a multi-year platform commitment.
Worth stating plainly: we could not find independent user reviews of BOSS LM in either direction, and we’re not going to speculate about the product’s capabilities without them. What we can say is that a company doesn’t serve NYSE-listed clients and commercial barge fleets for 27 years by accident. If you’re an established multi-division operation, BOSS deserves a proper evaluation on its merits — and the four-stage discovery process they run is designed to answer exactly the questions a buyer at that scale should be asking.
QuoteIQ isn’t trying to be a smaller BOSS. It’s built for the operator who needs to quote a job in the driveway, get paid before leaving, and never wants to sit through a discovery phase.
All five QuoteIQ tiers are published in dollars with the user count on each. No form, no discovery call, no revenue band to select before you learn what it costs.
Sign up and quote a real job the same afternoon, month-to-month afterward. There’s no implementation project and no Go Live phase to wait through.
AI Estimator, Virtual Call Team, Before/After AI, AI Autopilot and AI Text Generator — included from $29.99/month.
MapMeasure Pro measures turf, beds and hardscape from satellite imagery, unlimited from Beginner at $74.99 — quote from the office without a site visit.
Review Multiplier requests a review after every paid invoice, plus Email & Text Automation and a native business phone on Pro and above.
Run lawn care alongside pressure washing, holiday lighting or snow on the same subscription across 50+ trades.
The everyday operational layer is covered without tier gates or add-on modules: scheduling and invoicing with online payments on every plan, options-based estimates from $29.99, e-signatures and QuoteIQ Cam photo documentation from Beginner, plus Job Costing and QuickBooks Online sync on Pro. On Elite you add route optimization, inventory management, InstaQuote and InstaSchedule. According to BrightLocal’s Local Consumer Review Survey, review recency and volume are among the strongest drivers of local conversion — which is why review automation is a revenue feature for a small crew, not an admin convenience.
Because there’s no verifiable feature-by-feature evidence on BOSS LM, the useful comparison is structural — who each product is designed and priced for, based entirely on what both companies publish. If you want the feature detail on our side rather than the structural view, the full feature list, pipeline tracking and campaign tools are all documented.
| Your situation | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Solo operator, one truck | QuoteIQ | $29.99/mo published, live same day |
| 2–10 person crew | QuoteIQ | Pro at $149.99 covers four users with phone and SMS |
| Adding a second service line | QuoteIQ | 50+ trades on one account |
| You want to see a price before talking to sales | QuoteIQ | All five tiers published |
| You want to test software before buying | QuoteIQ | 14-day trial; BOSS offers none |
| Multi-division operation, $10M+ revenue | BOSS LM | Integra’s own stated target |
| Landscape plus marine or logistics divisions | BOSS LM | Multi-vertical platform, maritime included |
| You need custom software development | BOSS LM | Integra’s origin and ongoing service |
| You want consulting alongside the software | BOSS LM | “Partner, not a product” positioning |
| Independence from private equity matters to you | BOSS LM | Evergreen company, no PE backing |
If you’re in the blue rows, go book the Executive Overview. We’d rather you buy the right software than the cheapest. The one thing worth doing before you commit: because BOSS has no free trial and no public pricing, ask for a written quote and contract terms early in the process rather than at the end, and get clarity on what’s included versus custom-developed. That’s standard due diligence for any enterprise platform purchase.
Five plans on the public pricing page, each with its user count stated, a 14-day free trial on all of them, month-to-month with no notice period. Unlimited customers, properties and jobs on every tier. Annual billing gives two months free.
This distinction gets flattened in most software comparisons, so it’s worth being precise. A booking form — the kind most platforms in this category ship — captures an unpriced service request that you still have to quote, price, confirm and chase. InstaQuote and InstaSchedule are two separate products, and neither one is that. Together they’re the only self-quoting and self-scheduling combination in the industry.
The difference in one sentence: a booking form schedules an unpriced request. InstaSchedule only opens after a customer taps Accept on an estimate — so the job arrives already sold, at a locked price, with the payment method on file, in a slot that was genuinely free, waiting on your one-tap approval. Around 40% of appointments are booked outside business hours, and Sunday evening is the busiest booking window of the week — which is time you are not answering the phone.
The Integra Group has been building software since 1999, still runs independently, and serves clients from landscape firms to commercial barge fleets. If you’re a multi-division operation measuring growth in the tens of millions, they’ve told you plainly that BOSS is built for you — go take the Executive Overview. If you’re running one truck or one crew and you want to see a price, try the software this afternoon, and quote a job before dinner, that’s a different product. QuoteIQ’s 14-day free trial costs nothing to find out.

Four questions that settle it in about five minutes.
One trade in one market is small-business software. Multiple business lines with separate P&Ls is where enterprise platforms start earning their cost.
Most vendors describe their ideal customer somewhere on the site. Integra says BOSS may not suit you if you just want to sustain what you’re doing. Believe them.
If there’s a discovery phase, budget the weeks and the internal time. If you need to quote jobs next Tuesday, that’s a different kind of product.
Enterprise platforms rarely offer trials because they’re configured to you. Where a trial exists, use it — QuoteIQ runs 14 days on every plan.
“It seems so easy to use and should take the pain away from filling out paperwork when I can do it from my phone any time.”
“Just starting out with my lawn care and pressure washing business.”
“Easy navigation, smart features, and quick updates make managing lawn care clients truly stress-free.”
