One is a $12.99–$500/month professional web platform. One is a free ad-supported iPhone utility. Neither one quotes a job, stores a customer, sends an invoice or takes a payment. QuoteIQ includes satellite property measurement inside a platform that does all of it, from $74.99.
Measure Map Online is a professional cloud map-measuring platform from Blue Blink One, priced at $12.99/month Professional, $100/month plus $0.50 per guest project for Open Guest, and $500/month Enterprise covering one administrator plus five users. Measure Map on the App Store is a completely separate product from a different developer — Xuan Luong Do, listed under Utilities, free with in-app purchases from $5.99 to $7.99, rated 4.7 stars from 5,300 ratings. A third app, Measure Map Pro, comes from yet another developer. None of them includes a CRM, estimating engine, invoicing, payments, scheduling, job costing or AI — they measure, and that’s the job they’re built for. QuoteIQ includes MapMeasure Pro satellite area measurement from $74.99/month inside a platform that also quotes the job, brands and e-signs the proposal, schedules the crew, invoices the customer, collects the payment, requests the Google review, and runs five AI products. Measure Map Online Enterprise is $500/month for six seats of measurement; QuoteIQ Elite is $299/month for ten seats of everything.
TL;DR: This comparison needs a disclaimer most comparisons don’t: “Measure Map” is not one product. Measure Map Online is a genuinely capable professional measuring platform — worldwide cadastral parcel data, real-time collaborative editing, REST and iFrame APIs, and $12.99/month is a fair price for what it does. The Measure Map iPhone app is a different product from a different developer, sits in Apple’s Utilities category, is free with advertising, and holds a legitimate 4.7 stars across 5,300 ratings. Both do measurement well. Neither is business software, and that’s not a criticism — it’s a category fact. A measurement produces a number. Turning that number into revenue takes nine more steps: price it, brand it, send it, get it signed, schedule it, do the work, invoice it, collect it, and ask for the review. QuoteIQ’s MapMeasure Pro does satellite area measurement from $74.99 and the same subscription does the other nine, plus five AI products, a 24/7 AI receptionist, route optimization and automated Google review generation. The sharpest number on this page: their Enterprise plan is $500/month for one admin and five users, measurement only. QuoteIQ Elite is $299/month for ten users and the whole business. A contractor on the $500 plan still hasn’t sent an invoice.
Search “Measure Map pricing” and you’ll get $12.99/month, $500/month, $7.99 one-time and free-with-ads, depending on which result you land on — because they’re different products from different companies. As far as we can tell nobody has published this table before. Verified 29 July 2026 against each vendor’s own listing.

Why this matters practically. If someone recommends “Measure Map” to you, ask which one. The web platform and the iPhone app share a name, a general purpose and nothing else — different companies, different pricing models, different intended users. The App Store app is a well-made general-purpose tool; its own top reviews describe using it to plan fuel stops on a cross-country drive. The web platform is a professional instrument aimed at people whose job is measuring. Only one of the four rows above is field service software.
Per Apple’s own privacy disclosure on the Measure Map iPhone listing, the app uses the following data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies: Location, Identifiers, Usage Data and Diagnostics — with Coarse Location and Device ID listed under Third-Party Advertising. The listing also states the app “Contains Advertising.” That’s Apple’s standard disclosure format, reproduced without further comment, and it’s a material consideration for a contractor typing customer property addresses into an ad-supported utility. QuoteIQ carries no advertising and no third-party ad tracking.
Here’s the whole argument, laid out honestly. A measuring tool does the blue step. It does it well — that’s what it’s for. The other nine are what turn a square footage into money in your account, and no measuring tool on the market does any of them.
This isn’t a knock on measuring tools. Step one genuinely matters — a bad measurement is a bad quote, and both Measure Map products do measurement properly. The question is simply what you’re buying. If you already run field service software and want a specialist measuring instrument alongside it, Measure Map Online at $12.99/month is reasonable. If you’re a contractor wondering whether a measuring app can replace business software, the answer is no, and the ten steps above are why. QuoteIQ does step one and then keeps going.

The Enterprise row is the one to sit with. $500 a month buys one administrator and five user accounts on a measuring platform. $299 buys ten users on a platform that measures, quotes, brands, e-signs, schedules, routes, invoices, collects, requests reviews and runs five AI products. That’s not a close call, and it isn’t a criticism of their pricing either — they’re charging for a professional instrument with collaboration and API access, which is a legitimate product. It’s just a different purchase than the one most contractors think they’re making.
This is the closest thing to a direct feature overlap between the two products, and it’s worth a careful look because the pricing structures are so different. Measure Map Online’s Open Guest plan lets your potential customers measure their own property and see an estimate without creating an account — you set default and project-specific pricing, you get an email when someone requests an estimate, and there’s REST API access. It costs $100/month plus $0.50 per guest project after the first 50 each month.
QuoteIQ’s InstaQuote does the same job — and it’s included in Elite at $299 alongside everything else, with no per-project fee. The difference in what happens next is the part that matters.

Both let a homeowner measure and see a number. Only one closes. Where AI changes the measuring workflow itself. AI Estimator takes a photo or an address and returns a priced, line-itemized quote — so for many jobs you skip the manual measuring step entirely rather than doing it faster. That’s a different proposition from a better measuring instrument, and it’s the reason the comparison isn’t really about measurement accuracy at all.

Worldwide cadastral parcel data is a capability QuoteIQ does not have — if you need legal parcel boundaries rather than area measurements, that’s a genuine reason to use their product and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. Real-time collaborative measuring, described on their site as Google Docs-style co-working, is well built and has no QuoteIQ equivalent. REST and iFrame APIs are legitimate integration capability. Their 30-day trial is longer than QuoteIQ’s 14. And at $12.99/month, for a surveyor, land planner or anyone who needs measurement without a CRM, it’s a fair price for a good tool. The iPhone app’s 4.7 stars across 5,300 ratings is a strong, credible record, and its coordinate-system support goes well beyond anything QuoteIQ offers. To be equally precise in the other direction: MapMeasure Pro is satellite area measurement — it isn’t cadastral parcel data and it isn’t roof-facet geometry.
