QuoteIQ vs ProLine

ProLine is a roofing-only sales CRM with a genuinely free plan and six named AI products — one more than QuoteIQ ships. It’s not a product we can claim is thin on features. What it is, is expensive the moment you pay: $497 a month for three seats. QuoteIQ Elite gives you seven users for $299. Here’s the honest breakdown of where each one fits.

Quick Answer

ProLine publishes three paid tiers — GOOD at $497/month, BETTER at $797, BEST at $1,697 — and all three include three seats. It also runs a genuinely free plan that doesn’t expire. Their AI is real and deep: inbound and outbound voice agents, call summaries, call scoring, an AI Insurance Estimate Manager and an AI sales roleplay trainer, all at the $797 tier. Two of those have no QuoteIQ equivalent, so this isn’t a page arguing they lack AI. The differences that matter are cost per seat and scope. QuoteIQ Elite is $299 for seven users — $198 less than ProLine’s cheapest paid plan, for more than twice the seats — with AI included from $29.99. And ProLine is roofing only: add gutters, siding or pressure washing and you’ve outgrown the product, where QuoteIQ covers 50+ trades on one account. If you’re an established roofing sales team already spending four figures a month on software, ProLine is aimed squarely at you.

TL;DR: ProLine markets itself as “The Roofing CRM That Sells More Jobs” and it’s built for exactly that — a roofing sales operation with an insurance-restoration motion. Its own pricing page benchmarks its tiers against competing tool stacks costing roughly $1,378 to $3,892 a month, which tells you the customer it has in mind. The entry paid plan at $497 includes unlimited calling and texting with call recordings, multi-option quotes, work and material orders, payments, scheduling, seven report types, a mobile app and done-for-you setup. Their commercial terms are unusually good: a 30-day money-back guarantee tied to selling one additional job, explicit customer data ownership, CSV export, self-service cancellation and free phone-number porting on exit. They integrate with EagleView, CompanyCam, SumoQuote and RoofQuotePRO. QuoteIQ publishes $29.99 to $699 with AI Estimator and Virtual Call Team on every plan, satellite measurement from $74.99 and route optimization on Elite. Per the U.S. Small Business Administration, software overhead is among the most controllable fixed costs for a small contractor — which is the whole comparison in one sentence.

The Seat Curve Is Worth Understanding

ProLine’s free plan is real and it’s generous. Their free roofing CRM page says it isn’t a trial, doesn’t expire, allows unlimited projects and contacts, and answers the team-size question directly: asked whether there’s a cap on users, they say you can add your full team with no cap. Signing up needs only your name, email, phone and business address.

Their paid plans, per the pricing page, all include three seats — at $497, $797 and $1,697 a month. Read those two pages together and the curve is unusual:

Free plan
$0
Full team, no cap
Unlimited projects & contacts

Ask about this on the demo rather than assuming. We’re reading two of their own pages side by side, and the sensible question is what happens to a six-person team that upgrades from free to GOOD — whether seats four, five and six carry an added cost, and what that cost is. ProLine doesn’t publish additional-seat pricing anywhere we could find, so it’s a sales-call question. It’s also worth asking what PRO Credits are, since 3,000, 15,000 and 30,000 of them appear on the three tiers without explanation on the pricing page.

Credit where it’s due on the free plan itself: a non-expiring free tier with unlimited contacts and projects, integrations including EagleView and RoofQuotePRO, and no cap on team members is more generous than anything QuoteIQ offers — our entry plan is $29.99 with a 14-day trial. If your budget is zero and you only roof, their free plan is a real option and we’d rather you knew that.

They Out-AI Us on Paper

This is not a page that argues ProLine is behind on AI, because it isn’t. Their BETTER tier at $797 lists six named AI products, and two of them have no QuoteIQ equivalent at any price. Anyone telling you ProLine has no native AI hasn’t read their pricing page.

The AI Insurance Estimate Manager and the voice roleplay trainer deserve particular credit. Insurance restoration is where roofing margin is won or lost, and a tool aimed specifically at managing carrier estimates is a genuinely roofing-native idea. A sales trainer that lets reps rehearse against an AI voice is a good answer to the hardest problem in roofing sales, which is rep ramp time. QuoteIQ has nothing comparable to either. The trade-off is the price of admission: those live at $797/month for three seats, where QuoteIQ’s AI is on the $29.99 plan.

Where QuoteIQ Wins

Two things, and they’re both structural rather than feature-by-feature: what a seat costs, and how many trades you can run on one account.

PlanMonthlySeatsPer seat
QuoteIQ Essentials$29.991$29.99
QuoteIQ Pro$149.994$37.50
QuoteIQ Elite$2997$42.71
QuoteIQ Max$699UnlimitedFalls with headcount
ProLine GOOD$4973$165.67
ProLine BETTER$7973$265.67
ProLine BEST$1,6973$565.67

The clearest single comparison: QuoteIQ Elite is $299 for seven users. ProLine’s cheapest paid plan is $497 for three. That’s $198 less for more than twice the seats — and Elite includes route optimization, InstaQuote, InstaSchedule, GPS tracking and inventory management. ProLine also has no unlimited-user tier at any price; QuoteIQ Max removes the ceiling at $699.

🛠️

50+ Trades, Not One

ProLine is roofing only. Add gutters, siding or pressure washing and you’ve outgrown the product. QuoteIQ runs 50+ trades on one account.

📍

Satellite Measurement Built In

MapMeasure Pro is included from $74.99. ProLine integrates EagleView instead, which is a per-report cost on top of the subscription.

🗺️

Route Optimization

Stop sequencing on Elite at $299. ProLine ships calendars with sales, production and dispatch views — scheduling rather than route optimization.

💰

Entry Price That Fits a Crew

A solo roofer or two-truck operation can run QuoteIQ for $29.99 or $74.99 with the full AI suite. ProLine’s paid entry is $497.

Review Automation Included

Review Multiplier from $74.99, requesting a Google review after every paid invoice — from every customer, with no filtering.

📋

Job Costing & QuickBooks

Job costing with QuickBooks Online sync on Pro at $149.99, so you know margin per job rather than just revenue.

Their Commercial Terms Are Genuinely Good

This section exists because it would be dishonest to leave it out. ProLine’s published terms are among the most customer-friendly of any platform we’ve reviewed, and several of them are things a buyer should actively look for.

💳

Outcome-Based Guarantee

Their homepage states that if you don’t sell one additional job within thirty days, they refund what you’ve paid. A guarantee tied to an outcome rather than a satisfaction window is rare.

🔑

You Own Your Data

They state that leads, contacts and projects you add are 100% owned by you and everything can be exported via CSV. Not every vendor says this in writing.

🚪

Self-Service Cancellation

Cancel from inside the product with no phone call or email required, and on exit they’ll transfer your phone numbers to another provider free of charge.

📞

Unlimited Calling & Texting

On the $497 entry plan, including call recordings. That’s a real phone system inside the CRM, not just notification sending.

🤝

Done-For-You Setup

Included on paid tiers rather than sold as a separate implementation fee, which is how several competitors in this category handle onboarding.

Roofing Stack Integrations

CompanyCam, SumoQuote, RoofQuotePRO, EagleView, Angi and Zapier — the tools a roofing company is likely already running.

One thing we could not verify, and you should factor in. We found no independent Capterra or G2 star rating for ProLine at the time of writing — a Capterra listing exists but without a displayed score. The rating figure in circulation is one ProLine publishes on its own blog, citing Google Reviews. That’s not a criticism; a newer or more sales-led product often has thin review-platform coverage. But if independent verification matters to your decision, ask them for reference customers directly, and note their outcome claims — close rates rising from 27% to 64%, 14.6 hours saved per week — are company-reported and unaudited.

Who Each One Is Actually For

ProLine tells you their target customer more clearly than most vendors do. Their pricing page compares their tiers against tool stacks costing roughly $1,378, $1,828 and $3,892 a month — so the buyer they have in mind is already spending four figures monthly across several tools. They also publish a page aimed specifically at private equity firms, roll-ups and franchise operators.

“QuoteIQ simplifies scheduling and client tracking for pressure washing, lawn care, roofing, and pest control professionals.”

— bonny marica, verified App Store review of QuoteIQ. The multi-trade point matters here: a roofing company that adds a second service line stays on one QuoteIQ account, but leaves ProLine’s product scope entirely.

What Runs the Job Itself

ProLine’s strength is the sales motion — lead speed, calling, quoting, closing, and now AI that scores and rehearses those conversations. That’s a real and well-built focus. The part worth checking against your own operation is what happens after the signature, because a roofing company’s margin is made or lost in production rather than in the sale.

On QuoteIQ that whole chain sits on the phone from the entry plan: scheduling and dispatch, QuoteIQ Cam for before-and-after documentation, options-based estimates for good-better-best roofing packages, e-signatures on contracts, invoicing with online payment, and Review Multiplier requesting a Google review once the invoice clears. Pro adds job costing, a business number and email and text automation; Elite adds routing, GPS and inventory.

ProLine covers a good deal of this too — production management, work and material orders, payments, seven report types including profitability. The difference is what it costs to get there and how many people can use it. Everything above is on QuoteIQ plans between $29.99 and $299 with four to seven seats, against $497 for three. And if roofing turns into roofing plus gutters, the same feature set covers both trades on one login.

The cleanest way to test this yourself: take your last completed roof and walk it through both products end to end — lead, quote, contract, schedule, crew, invoice, payment, review request. Count the steps that need a second tool. ProLine’s free plan and QuoteIQ’s 14-day trial both cost nothing, so this is an afternoon’s work rather than a purchase decision made on a feature grid.

InstaQuote + InstaSchedule: Not a Booking Form

This distinction gets flattened in most software comparisons, so it’s worth being precise. A booking form — the kind most platforms in this category ship — captures an unpriced service request that you still have to quote, price, confirm and chase. InstaQuote and InstaSchedule are two separate products, and neither one is that. Together they’re the only self-quoting and self-scheduling combination in the industry.

Customer Self-Quoting
  • Embeds as an iframe on any website — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or custom — with no coding
  • Customers never leave your domain
  • Live price calculation as they select services
  • Add-ons and service packages with bundled pricing and upsells
  • Good / Better / Best tiers via Options pricing
  • Fully customisable service library and pricing tiers
  • Quote delivered instantly by email and SMS
  • Shareable as a direct link by SMS, email or social
  • Branded with your company name, logo and services
  • Higher average tickets — customers add more when self-selecting
Customer Self-Scheduling
  • Activates only after a customer accepts an estimate — every booking is pre-sold at a locked price
  • Works on every estimate type: Standard, Quick, Options, Package and InstaQuote
  • Customers see only time genuinely open on your QuoteIQ calendar
  • Claimed slots vanish for everyone else instantly — double-booking protection
  • Google Places validates every service address as the customer types
  • Per-technician working days, time blocks and timezone
  • Day split into blocks so lunch stays yours
  • Automatic buffer between appointments — no back-to-back pileups
  • Schedule Now, or Schedule Later for the 11pm crowd
  • Push notification the second a request lands
  • One-tap approve, decline or reschedule — every booking waits on you
  • Two-way Google Calendar sync

The difference in one sentence: a booking form schedules an unpriced request. InstaSchedule only opens after a customer taps Accept on an estimate — so the job arrives already sold, at a locked price, with the payment method on file, in a slot that was genuinely free, waiting on your one-tap approval. Around 40% of appointments are booked outside business hours, and Sunday evening is the busiest booking window of the week — which is time you are not answering the phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

ProLine publishes three paid tiers on its pricing page: GOOD at $497/month, BETTER at $797/month and BEST at $1,697/month — and all three include three seats. GOOD covers production management, multi-option quotes, work and material orders, payments and invoicing, scheduling, business reports, unlimited calling and texting with call recordings, automations, web forms, the mobile app and done-for-you setup. BETTER adds the six AI products. BEST adds marketing broadcasts and audience segmentation, with a couple of features listed as still in development. They also run a free plan, covered below. For context on who that pricing targets, their own page benchmarks the tiers against competing tool stacks costing roughly $1,378 to $3,892 a month. QuoteIQ publishes five tiers from $29.99 to $699 — Elite is $299 for seven users, which is $198 less than ProLine’s cheapest paid plan for more than twice the seats.
Yes, and it’s more substantial than most free tiers. Per ProLine’s own free plan page, it isn’t a trial and doesn’t expire — they say you could use the free version indefinitely. It includes unlimited projects and contacts, the lead pipeline, quoting tools, project stages, invoicing and reporting, plus integrations including EagleView and RoofQuotePRO, though email and calendar integrations are excluded. Asked whether team size is capped, they say you can add your full team with no cap. Creating an account needs only your name, email, phone number and business address. The step worth understanding is what happens when you upgrade: all three paid plans list three seats, so a larger team moving from free to the $497 GOOD plan should ask what seats four and up cost, since additional-seat pricing isn’t published. For comparison, QuoteIQ starts at $29.99 with a 14-day trial.
Three, on every paid plan. GOOD at $497, BETTER at $797 and BEST at $1,697 all state three seats on the pricing page. That works out to $165.67, $265.67 and $565.67 per seat respectively. Their free plan, by contrast, says there’s no cap on team members. ProLine doesn’t publish a price for seats beyond three anywhere we could find, and there’s no unlimited-user tier at any price point, so a growing roofing company should establish that number before committing — it’s the figure most likely to change your total cost in year two. QuoteIQ states seats on every tier: 1 on Essentials, 2 on Beginner, 4 on Pro, 7 on Elite and unlimited on Max at $699 — so the ceiling and the cost of reaching it are both published up front. A useful sanity check before any roofing CRM demo: write down how many people will need a login in eighteen months, not today. Sales reps, production managers, office staff and the owner add up faster than most quotes assume.
Yes. ProLine’s BETTER tier at $797/month includes an Inbound AI Voice Agent, alongside an outbound voice agent, AI call summaries, AI call scoring, an AI Insurance Estimate Manager and an AI voice roleplay sales trainer — six named AI products in total. Anyone claiming ProLine has no native AI hasn’t read their current pricing page. Two of those six have no QuoteIQ equivalent at any price: the insurance estimate manager is a genuinely roofing-native idea, and the roleplay trainer addresses rep ramp time, which is the hardest problem in roofing sales. The difference is the cost of entry. QuoteIQ’s Virtual Call Team answers calls 24/7 and is included on every plan from $29.99, alongside AI Estimator and Before/After AI. Reaching ProLine’s AI costs $797/month for three seats. If AI call scoring and rep training are central to how you run a sales floor, that price may well be justified — those are capabilities aimed at a specific problem and they solve it. If what you actually need is for someone to answer the phone at 8pm, that’s the cheaper half of the equation.
Their free plan genuinely is — unlimited contacts, no team cap, doesn’t expire. Their paid plans are a different question. At $497 for three seats, the entry paid tier is priced for an established roofing company with a sales team, and their own pricing page confirms it by benchmarking against tool stacks costing $1,378 to $3,892 monthly. They also publish a page aimed at private equity firms, roll-ups and franchise operators. A solo roofer or three-truck operation sits well below that. The practical path if you like ProLine: run the free plan and only upgrade when the AI or the calling features clearly pay for themselves. If you want paid features at small-company pricing, QuoteIQ covers AI estimating, a 24/7 AI receptionist and the full mobile app from $29.99, with a 14-day trial and month-to-month terms.
This is a genuine open question and worth asking on a demo. ProLine’s pricing page lists 3,000 PRO Credits on GOOD, 15,000 on BETTER and 30,000 on BEST, but we could not find an explanation of what a credit buys or what happens when you run out. Given the tiers correlate with the AI and communication features, credits most likely meter usage of things like AI voice minutes, calls or texts — but that’s inference, not something they document, so we won’t state it as fact. Before signing, ask what consumes a credit, what the overage rate is, and whether credits roll over. Usage-metered pricing on top of a subscription is how a $497 plan becomes a $700 bill. For reference, QuoteIQ’s IQ Credits are stated per tier — 500, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and 8,000 — and meter the AI features on each plan.
ProLine positions itself unambiguously as roofing software — “The Roofing CRM That Sells More Jobs” and “The #1 CRM for Roofing Contractors” — and their features, integrations and AI are built around roofing workflows including insurance restoration. That focus is a strength if roofing is all you do; roofing-specific tooling beats a generic CRM configured for roofing. The limitation appears when you diversify, which many roofing companies do. Adding gutter work, siding, or pressure washing as a second revenue line means running those jobs outside the product or adopting a second system. QuoteIQ covers 50+ home service trades on a single account with trade-specific templates, so a roofer who picks up gutters in the autumn quotes both from the same app. Worth thinking two years ahead here rather than one: diversifying into a second trade is one of the most common growth moves in roofing, and switching CRM at the same time as launching a service line is a difficult combination.
Cheaper depends which ProLine tier you’d need. Against GOOD at $497 for three seats, QuoteIQ Pro is $149.99 for four users with business phone, two-way SMS and job costing, or Elite at $299 for seven with route optimization and self-scheduling. Against BETTER at $797 — the AI tier — QuoteIQ includes AI Estimator and a 24/7 AI receptionist from $29.99, though not ProLine’s insurance estimate manager or sales trainer. Other roofing options worth shortlisting include JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Roofr and our JobNimbus comparison. And the genuinely cheapest ProLine alternative is ProLine’s own free plan — if roofing is all you do and you can live without the AI tier, it costs nothing and doesn’t expire. The comparison that decides it for most buyers is straightforward arithmetic: count the logins you need, divide each quoted plan by that number, and add any metered credits or per-report measurement fees on top. Cost per seat per month is the only figure that compares cleanly across roofing platforms.

ProLine has built something good for roofing sales teams — six AI products, a real phone system, an insurance estimate manager we have no answer to, and commercial terms most vendors won’t match. If you’re an established roofing operation already spending four figures a month on software, they’re aimed at you and they’ll likely serve you well. If you’re running a crew rather than a sales floor, or you roof and do gutters, the maths changes quickly: QuoteIQ Elite is $299 for seven users against $497 for three, with AI from $29.99 and 50+ trades on one account.

How to Compare Roofing CRM Pricing

Four questions that stop a $497 plan becoming a $900 bill.

1

Divide by Seats, Not Plans

A $497 plan with three seats is $165.67 per person. Normalize every quote to cost per seat before you compare anything else.

2

Ask What Seat Four Costs

Most roofing CRMs don’t publish additional-seat pricing. Get it in writing before signing, because it’s what changes your bill in year two.

3

Find the Metered Costs

Credits, AI minutes, per-report measurement fees and texting overages sit on top of the subscription. Ask what consumes them and what overage costs.

4

Plan for a Second Trade

If you might add gutters or siding, check whether the platform supports it or whether you’d be buying a second system in two years.
