ZevBit’s base plan is $97.99/month for one user — and it cannot send an invoice or take a payment. Both are separate paid add-ons. A contractor who wants to estimate, bill and get paid lands around $147.99/month. QuoteIQ does all three for $29.99, and includes five AI products ZevBit doesn’t offer at any price.
ZevBit’s Base Plan is $97.99/month and includes one user. Invoicing, payments and change orders are a separate paid add-on, and job costing and expenses are another — both shown as add-ons on their own pricing page. At the current promotional add-on rate of $50/month, a solo contractor who needs to estimate, invoice and take a card pays about $147.99/month; adding job costing takes it to roughly $197.99. QuoteIQ Essentials is $29.99 with estimating, invoicing and card payments all included, plus five AI products — AI Estimator, a 24/7 AI receptionist, Before/After AI, AI Autopilot and AI Text Generator — none of which ZevBit documents anywhere. QuoteIQ Pro is $149.99 for four users with job costing, a business phone and two-way SMS included. ZevBit’s genuine strength is estimating: an Overhead Recovery System, production-rate pricing and 200+ prebuilt templates make it a capable bidding tool for landscape and construction work.
TL;DR: ZevBit is estimating-led software for construction and landscape contractors, and the estimating is genuinely good — company-specific overhead, production rates and material prices feed into per-job gross and net margin reporting, with 200+ prebuilt templates and e-signable proposals. GPS time tracking, scheduling, budgeting and a pricebook all sit on the base plan. The structure worth understanding before you buy is what isn’t on that plan: invoicing, payments and change orders are an add-on, and job costing and expenses are a second add-on. Their pricing page states the model plainly — the Base Plan includes one user, each add-on includes three free users, and further users are $16.99/month each. QuoteIQ includes estimating, invoicing and payments from $29.99, adds job costing at $149.99, and ships capabilities ZevBit doesn’t document at all: five AI products, a native business phone with two-way SMS, satellite property measurement, route optimization, automated Google review generation and customer self-quoting. Per the U.S. Small Business Administration, getting invoices out and payments collected quickly is one of the strongest determinants of small-contractor cash flow — which is exactly the function sitting behind ZevBit’s paywall.
ZevBit’s pricing page sets out the model in three lines: start with the Base Plan which includes one user, enable add-ons as needed, and each additional invited user is $16.99 a month. Each add-on carries three free users with it. The part that changes the real cost is which functions sit outside the base plan.
| What you need | ZevBit | QuoteIQ | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Estimates only | $97.99 — 1 user | $29.99 — Essentials | $68/mo |
| Estimates + invoicing + payments | $147.99 — 1 user | $29.99 — Essentials | $118/mo · $1,416/yr |
| The above + job costing | $197.99 | $149.99 — Pro, 4 users | $48/mo, and 3 more seats |
| Additional users | $16.99/mo each beyond included | Bundled per tier | Depends on team size |

| AI products included | None at any price | Five, on every plan | Not purchasable from ZevBit |
Two honest notes on those numbers. First, the $50 add-on figure is ZevBit’s current promotional rate — their pricing has also shown $100, so confirm the standing price before you sign; at $100 the all-in cost rises to $197.99 and $297.99 respectively. Second, they’re running a Spring Special of 14 days free then 50% off for three months, which puts the base plan near $48.99 temporarily. That’s a genuine saving for the first quarter, but it isn’t the ongoing price, and the add-on structure doesn’t change when the discount ends. QuoteIQ’s $29.99 is the standing rate with invoicing and payments already in it.

— Jina_Odao, verified App Store review of QuoteIQ. Quoting, invoicing and payment collection are on the $29.99 plan, not sold separately.Every item below is a documented QuoteIQ capability with no equivalent found anywhere on ZevBit’s website, feature pages or pricing page as of July 2026. Where something may exist but isn’t published, we’ve said “not documented” rather than claiming it’s absent — but a capability a vendor doesn’t advertise isn’t one you can buy on.
That’s 22 capabilities, and the pricing point compounds it. All of them are on a QuoteIQ plan between $29.99 and $699 — the entire AI suite plus invoicing and payments on the entry tier, satellite measurement and review automation at $74.99, phone and job costing at $149.99, routing and self-scheduling at $299. On ZevBit, invoicing alone is an add-on before any of the above enters the conversation.
A full review of ZevBit’s homepage, feature pages and pricing page turns up no AI feature, no AI page and no AI language anywhere. Their estimating is template-and-pricebook driven — effective, but manual. QuoteIQ ships five AI products on every plan including the $29.99 tier.

Why the phone one matters most on a jobsite. Landscape and construction crews are on equipment or on a roof for most of the working day, which is exactly when homeowners call. Virtual Call Team answers, qualifies and books while you’re working — and it’s on the $29.99 plan. ZevBit documents no phone or texting capability at all, so an inbound call there is a call you either take or lose. A fair caveat in the other direction: any platform iterating in 2026 is likely to add AI eventually, so this gap may narrow.
This distinction gets flattened in most software comparisons, so it’s worth being precise. A booking form — the kind most platforms in this category ship — captures an unpriced service request that you still have to quote, price, confirm and chase. InstaQuote and InstaSchedule are two separate products, and neither one is that. Together they’re the only self-quoting and self-scheduling combination in the industry, and ZevBit documents no equivalent to either.
The difference in one sentence: a booking form schedules an unpriced request. InstaSchedule only opens after a customer taps Accept on an estimate — so the job arrives already sold, at a locked price, with the payment method on file, in a slot that was genuinely free, waiting on your one-tap approval. Around 40% of appointments are booked outside business hours, and Sunday evening is the busiest booking window of the week — which is time you are not answering the phone.
Verified July 2026 against ZevBit’s published pricing and feature pages. “Add-on” means the capability exists but sits outside the base plan. “Not documented” means we found no reference in their materials.

Three rows go to ZevBit and they’re worth naming. Their Overhead Recovery System is a genuinely well-built idea — you set overhead and profit targets once and it calculates what each job must recover, with alerts before margins slip. That is more structured than anything QuoteIQ ships under a single name. Their 200+ prebuilt templates materially shorten setup for construction and landscape bidding, and their free guided Zoom onboarding — where they configure taxes, markups and pricing with you and aim to have you sending an estimate the same day — is better than most vendors offer at any price. If deep, structured cost-based bidding is the centre of your business, ZevBit is a capable tool and those three things are real reasons to look at it.
Five plans on the public pricing page, each with its user count stated, a 14-day free trial on all of them, month-to-month with no contract. Estimating, invoicing, payments and all five AI products are on every tier including Essentials — there are no add-on fees to unlock billing. Annual billing gives two months free.
ZevBit built a good estimating tool. The Overhead Recovery System, production-rate pricing and free guided onboarding are real strengths, and if bidding profitably is your whole problem it’s worth a demo. But a $97.99 base plan that can’t send an invoice is a different proposition to what it looks like at first glance — and once billing and job costing are added it approaches $197.99 for a single user. QuoteIQ includes estimating, invoicing and payments from $29.99, job costing and a business phone at $149.99 for four users, and 22 capabilities ZevBit doesn’t document — starting with five AI products it can’t sell you at any price.

Four checks that stop a $97.99 plan becoming a $198 bill.
Estimating, invoicing, payments, job costing. Write the list before you look at any pricing page, so the page can’t set your expectations.
Tick each item off against the base plan. Anything sold as a module or add-on gets added to the headline price before you compare.
Introductory discounts end. Ask what you’ll pay in month four, and confirm whether add-on pricing is promotional too.
Count the logins you’ll need in a year, add any per-user fees, then compare cost per seat. That’s the only number that compares cleanly.
