Your customers, jobs, leads and doors on one map.
Everything you run on one screen, and each customer, job, lead or knock opens a card you can act on.
Atlas sits in QuoteIQ's side menu as Customers (Map View), Lead Generator, Door Knocking, Routing and Employees. On desktop a panel sits beside a large map; customers and active jobs show in their own colours, and a customer, job, lead or door knock opens its card with the next step on it.
One tap from Home to the doors.
The Atlas card on the Home dashboard shows your busiest area with the morning's knocks, plus Open Atlas and shortcut tiles. Tap Prospect and Atlas opens on Door Knocking, with Ben Ashford's five knocks on the Live Oak block above the list.
Layers you control
My Map, the customer mapping part of Atlas, turns each layer on or off: Customers, Active Jobs, Door Knocks, Areas, Routes, Employees and Lead Generator. Showing or hiding data you already bought is free.
The next step on every card
Lead, door knock and property cards carry Estimate, Invoice and Schedule, so the job starts from the map in estimates, invoicing and scheduling.
Your customer's property, under their card
Click a customer and the property under their address opens below their card: the lot size for free, and the full record once that area is unlocked.
Who can use Atlas
The owner and admins can use all of Atlas. Give a team member Use Atlas in roles and permissions to open it, and Spend in Atlas to buy leads or property details.
Find businesses near the customers you already serve.
Search for free, unlock what you find, and contact them from the same app.
Lead Generator searches for business types around a ZIP code, a city or an area you drew. The search is free and shows the exact number of businesses found, as gray locked pins. Unlock them and each one carries its name, address, phone number and website, yours permanently, ranked by how well it fits your routes.
Search, pick the best fit, add it as a contact: all in QuoteIQ.
Open Lead Generator, pick the business types you want (schools, preschools and churches here) and search ZIP 31404. The businesses land on the map and in the side panel, ranked by how well each one fits your customers. Open a lead: its card shows the fit score, the address, website and phone, with Call, Text and Navigate. Add contact opens QuoteIQ's Add Contact form already filled in, and once it is saved the leads nearby re-rank to Strong fit.
Business types to search
Sixteen groups and 67 types, from Restaurants, Hotels and Churches to Apartments, HOAs, Property Mgmt, Self-Storage, Warehouses and Event Venues. Pick one or more in a search.
Free to search, exact count
Searching costs nothing, and you see how many businesses are there before you pay anything. The map shows both your selection and the rectangle that was searched.
Ranked by fit
Each lead gets a Route Match Score from Excellent fit to Low fit, built from Proximity to your nearest customer, Customer density (your customers within 2 miles) and Category fit for your trade. Star ratings are shown but never change the score.
From the lead card
Call, Text and Navigate; Mark as contacted; Add contact, which opens QuoteIQ's contact form filled in from the lead and saves the business to your client database; Estimate, Invoice and Schedule; and Task, Deal and Reminder, with deals going to your sales pipeline. Everything you create is listed under the lead, and no outreach is sent automatically.
Yours for good
Unlocked businesses never expire and you are never charged for them again. They belong to your company, sit under Yours with a filter by type, and export to a CSV from Atlas Settings.
Property owner lookup, with the record behind every house.
Free property lines and lot size; unlock the owner, value, building, zoning and flood details.
Zoom in and Atlas draws the property lines around every lot the map covers. Click a property for a free card with its lot size. Unlock property details for one ZIP code, five ZIP codes or a whole state, and every property card in that area shows its full record, yours permanently. Atlas knows 75 property fields in eight groups, Ownership, Value & sale, Building, Land & lot, Location, Zoning & use, Environment and Record, and each card shows the ones the county publishes for that property.
Click a house, see what it holds.
Zoom into the Live Oak block and every property line is drawn. Hover a lot and it outlines; click it and the card opens the property's record: owner, assessed value, land and improvement value, last sale, year built, building size, bedrooms, baths, heating, roof, lot size, zoning, flood zone and the deed record. Add contact then saves the household to QuoteIQ.

Choose One ZIP code, Five ZIP codes or Whole state. It is a one-time charge, the details never expire, and they show on every property card in that area, including under your existing customers.
What to do from a property
Add contact saves the address to your client database, Drop knock puts a door knock on the house, Task creates a task on the lot, and Estimate, Invoice and Schedule start the job in estimates, invoicing and scheduling.
Where the data comes from
County property records: the archive holds about 160 million parcels, published county by county. Coverage varies by county, a field appears only where the county records it, and the records are for viewing on the property card.
Every door you knock, on the same map.
Pin it, give it a status, note it and set the follow-up.
Door Knocking is the canvassing layer of Atlas. Each knock is a diamond pin outlined in the colour of its status, with a card for the address, what happened, your notes and the QuoteIQ actions that come next, on the same map as your customers and leads.
Tap Pin, tap the house, pick the status.
Tap Pin on the map controls, then tap a house: a Not Home knock drops there and its card opens. Tap Interested — Follow Up and the pin turns green while the card tucks away. Drop-pin stays on for the next door until you tap Cancel.
Write it down before you leave the porch.
On the card for 1421 Live Oak Ln, the note saves as it is typed. Under QuoteIQ actions, Reminder opens New Reminder with Follow up with 1421 Live Oak Ln filled in; pick Thursday, September 24, tap Set Reminder, and Reminder set confirms it while the note stays on the card.
Seven statuses to start, and room for yours.
In Atlas Settings on the Statuses tab, Add status adds a new row. Name it Sold, give its pin a green colour and the Dollar icon, and it becomes the eighth status in the list.
The seven statuses
Not Home, Knocked — No Answer, Contacted, Interested — Follow Up, Not Interested, Do Not Knock and Appointment Set. Rename them, recolour a pin, pick an icon such as Cross, Check, Star or Dollar, drag them into your order, add your own or remove the ones you don't use. A status name can be up to 34 characters.
The knock list
Door Knocking counts your knocks with one chip per status, filters them by status or by area, and Export CSV saves them with the date, status, status history, coordinates, address, areas and who dropped each one.
Keep the card open
Close the knock card after a status change is on by default. Turn it off in Atlas Settings to keep the card open so you can add a note.
Map styles
In Atlas Settings, Map View switches the map between Standard (clean), Map (real streets) and Satellite (aerial imagery).
Areas
Draw an area around the blocks you plan to knock, name it and assign it to a teammate, the way sales territory mapping software splits up a market. The knock list filters by area, and Lead Generator can search a drawn area.
A yes at the door becomes an estimate in QuoteIQ.
Save the knock as a contact, then start the estimate from the same card.
QuoteIQ actions on a knock card connect canvassing to the rest of QuoteIQ: create a Task or a Reminder in reminders and tasks, save the knock to your client database, and open estimates, invoicing or scheduling from it.
Save as contact, then Estimate.
On the knock card for 1427 Live Oak Ln, marked Interested — Follow Up, open QuoteIQ actions and tap Save as contact. QuoteIQ's Add Contact form opens with the address filled in; type Jake Thompson and his phone number and tap Create Contact. Back on the card, Estimate opens Create an Estimate with Jake and his service address already in place.
What Save as contact fills in
The knock's street address becomes the address of the new contact, and the contact's notes say it was added from an Atlas door knock, with its status and the knock's own notes. The tile then reads View contact.
Estimate without the extra step
If the knock has no contact yet, Estimate creates one first, then opens the estimate with the customer and address in place.
Selling at the home
An agreement signed at the buyer's home can fall under the FTC Cooling-Off Rule: give the buyer the notice of cancellation and a dated copy of the agreement, and allow three business days to cancel.
See who is on the clock and drive the day in a better order.
Employees and Routing, on the Elite and Max plans.
Employees and Routing put your crews on the same map as your doors. Both are on the Elite plan and the Max plan, the same plans as QuoteIQ's route optimization and EmployeeHub.
The day's jobs, in a shorter driving order.
Routing draws Ben Ashford's four jobs for the day as a driving route. Click Optimize Now, choose Just the order and run it: the stops are reordered, the route redraws along the roads, and the card reads Saves 19 miles vs driving these separately, 59.8 mi → 40.7 mi.
Everyone clocked in, on the map.
Open Employees: On the clock 3, Team 4, with a row for each person. Click Ben Ashford and the other pins hide while the map flies to Ben on the Live Oak block. A person shows on the map only while they are clocked in and sharing their location.
What Optimize changes
Optimize the driving order has two versions. Just the order, Version A, reorders the day's stops; Fill in unscheduled work, Version B, also places your Schedule Later jobs onto the days whose route they fit. Each route starts where you choose: the employee's live location or one of your company locations. Nothing is saved until you press Accept, Dismiss leaves the day as it was, and a job with a time the customer expects keeps its slot in scheduling.
Day, week and month
Step through the days, or switch to Week or Month to see the jobs, miles and driving time across the calendar. On Month, the density heat map shades each day by how many jobs it holds, and in Day view you can filter the routes by employee.
Clocked out means off the map
Live location only appears while someone is clocked in and has Atlas open, and it is never shown for anyone who is clocked out. Open Time Tracker takes you to Time Tracker Pro.
Road miles and paid time
Travel from one job site to the next counts as hours worked under 29 CFR 785.38, so less driving between jobs is less paid time on the road.
Atlas is on every QuoteIQ plan.
Routing and Employees in Atlas are on the Elite and Max plans. Business leads and full property details are unlocked inside Atlas and stay yours permanently. See each plan's full feature list on the pricing page.

Leads, properties and door knocks become contacts, estimates, deals, reminders and routes in the tools you already use.
Add contact on a lead or a property, or Save as contact on a door knock, saves it to your client database, and the tile then reads View contact.
Estimate, Invoice and Schedule sit on lead, knock and property cards, so a new account turns into estimates, invoicing and scheduling without retyping the address.
Deal on a lead card creates a deal in your sales pipeline, and everything created from the lead is listed under it.
Reminder and Task on a lead or door knock card, and Task on a property card, write real entries to QuoteIQ's reminders and tasks, for you or a teammate.
Routing in Atlas orders the jobs you book in scheduling, on the Elite and Max plans, alongside QuoteIQ's route optimization.
Employees works straight from clock-ins in Time Tracker Pro, and Open Time Tracker takes you there.
Use Atlas lets a team member open Atlas and Spend in Atlas lets them buy leads or property details; set both in roles and permissions.
Lead generation for contractors, property owner lookup and canvassing, explained.
Straight answers about finding commercial leads, property records, tracking knocks, following up, the FTC Cooling-Off Rule, routes and your team.
Updated
Contractors find leads with a property owner lookup by clicking the houses around the jobs they already have to see who owns each one, and they find commercial leads by searching the ZIP codes they serve for the businesses that buy their service, then reaching the ones closest to their existing customers first. In QuoteIQ both live in Atlas: click a lot for its property record, which shows the owner once that area's property details are unlocked and the county publishes it, and for businesses open Lead Generator: add a ZIP code, a city or an area you drew, pick one or more business types from sixteen groups, such as Apartments, HOAs, Property Mgmt, Restaurants, Churches or Self-Storage, and press Search. Searching is free, and Atlas shows the exact number of businesses found in and around that place, as gray locked pins, before you pay anything.
Unlock them and each business shows its name, address, phone number and website, yours permanently. Atlas ranks them with a Route Match Score built from Proximity to your nearest customer, Customer density (how many of your customers are within 2 miles) and Category fit for your trade; star ratings are shown but do not change the score. From the lead card, Call, Text or Navigate, then Add contact opens QuoteIQ's contact form filled in from the lead and saves it to your client database, Estimate starts an estimate, Deal adds it to your sales pipeline, and Task and Reminder land in reminders and tasks. Unlocked leads stay under Yours and export to a CSV.
Lead generation for contractors works best next to the accounts you already have, because it keeps routes tight: NALP's lawn care routing playbook describes lawn companies marketing to the neighbours of existing customers. To size a market first, the Census Bureau's County Business Patterns counts establishments with paid employees by industry. New commercial accounts fit best with route density.
On a property data map, contractors can see each lot's boundary and size and, where the county publishes it, the owner, assessed value, last sale, building details, zoning and flood zone. In QuoteIQ's Atlas, zoom in and property lines appear around every lot the map covers; click a property for a free card with its lot size. Unlock property details for one ZIP code, five ZIP codes or a whole state, and every property card in that area shows its full record, yours permanently.
Atlas knows 75 property fields in eight groups and shows the ones the county records for each property. Ownership: owner, all owners, owner type and owner address. Value & sale: assessed value, land and improvement value, last sale and its date, tax year, tax district and taxable acres. Building: year built, building size, floors, units, bedrooms, baths, heating, cooling, foundation, roof and siding. Land & lot: lot size, property type, lot, block and legal description. Location: county, place and census tract. Zoning & use: zoning code, zoning, use and NAICS code. Environment: flood zone, FIRM panel and date, base flood elevation and EPA permits. Record: record updated, deed book and deed page.
The assessed value is the county's figure, not a market value, and county records can trail a sale by a year or more. FEMA's Flood Map Service Center is the official public source for flood maps. Coverage varies by county, and owner details are not shown in Idaho, Kansas or South Carolina. Measure the lot with MapMeasure Pro, look at the house with property street view, save it to your client database, price it with estimates and book the visit in scheduling.
Track door knocks by dropping a pin on every house you knock and giving it a status, so the map itself shows which doors said yes, which want a follow-up and which to leave alone. In QuoteIQ that canvassing app is Atlas: tap Pin, tap the house, and a knock drops there on Not Home with its card open, then tap the status the homeowner gave you. The seven starting statuses are Not Home, Knocked — No Answer, Contacted, Interested — Follow Up, Not Interested, Do Not Knock and Appointment Set, and each one colours the pin.
Every knock card keeps the address, who knocked and when, the status history and your notes. The Door Knocking list counts your knocks, filters them by status or by area, and Export CSV saves them as a CSV file with the date, status, status history, coordinates, address, areas and who dropped each one. When a door turns into a customer, Save as contact adds it to your client database, and a callback becomes an entry in reminders and tasks.
Knocks sit on the same map as your customers, so you can knock the streets around the lawns you already care for and tighten your route density, then hand the yeses to estimates and the rest of QuoteIQ's lawn care software. Who can open Atlas is set with the Use Atlas permission in roles and permissions. A sales column on the blog of NALP, the landscape industry association, advises managing the activities that happen before a sale, such as prospecting, and a knock log is where that starts.
Get lawn care customers door to door by knocking the streets around the lawns you already service, writing down every conversation, and following up quickly with the homeowners who want a price. Lawn care door-to-door sales can still work: one lawn care company profiled on the blog of NALP, the landscape industry association, resumed door-to-door sales in 2021 and credits its outdoor sales team with most of a new location's growth from 0 to 1,200 customers.
Start where you are already dense. NALP's lawn care routing playbook describes companies marketing to the neighbours of existing customers so their routes get tighter. In Atlas your customers are already on the map, so draw an area around the blocks next to them, assign it to the rep who will knock it, and drop a pin at each door with its status. Notes and dated reminders keep interested homeowners from going cold, and Save as contact turns a yes into a customer you can send estimates to.
Check the rules before the first knock: the FTC notes that some states require door-to-door salespeople to say up front who they are and what they are selling, and others require a sales license and photo ID, so check your city or county for local permits too. Pair Atlas with QuoteIQ's lawn care software, route density and route optimization so new customers fit your routes. Atlas is on every QuoteIQ plan, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial; compare plans on plan pricing. A credit or debit card is required to start.
Follow up with door-to-door leads by writing down what each homeowner said before you leave the porch, setting a dated reminder for the callback they asked for, and reaching out on that day with the details they gave you.
In Atlas, mark the door Interested — Follow Up and type on the knock card's notes; they save as you type. Under QuoteIQ actions, Reminder opens New Reminder with a note that already reads "Follow up with" and the knock's address: pick the date, add a time if you like, and choose who it is for, you or a teammate. Task creates a QuoteIQ task instead, with a due date and an assignee. Both land in QuoteIQ's reminders and tasks, and Save as contact adds the homeowner to your client database, so once the contact has a phone number, Call and Text sit on the card.
If you follow up by phone, the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule lets sellers return calls to interested prospects for three months after they make an inquiry, even when the number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, and a company has to stop calling anyone who asks it not to call. Advice on NALP's blog is simple: capture the lead and then follow up. When the homeowner is ready, send estimates, offer choices with options estimates, and keep bigger jobs moving in your sales pipeline.
The FTC's Cooling-Off Rule gives a buyer until midnight of the third business day after the sale to cancel most sales of consumer goods or services of 25 dollars or more made at their home, and it requires the seller to explain that right in writing and out loud at the time of the sale.
The rule, 16 CFR Part 429, also covers sales at the buyer's workplace or at temporary locations such as hotel rooms and fairgrounds, at 130 dollars or more. The seller must hand over a dated copy of the contract or receipt, in the same language as the sales presentation, with the seller's name and address and a cancellation statement near the buyer's signature, plus two copies of a Notice of Cancellation form. Saturdays count as business days; Sundays and federal holidays do not. If the buyer cancels, the seller has 10 business days to refund the payments. Some sales are excluded, such as a visit the buyer asked for to repair or maintain their personal property, and some states give buyers more rights; the FTC's consumer guide lists the exceptions.
A lawn care agreement a homeowner signs at the door, for 25 dollars or more, is the kind of sale the rule describes. In QuoteIQ the estimate you start from a knock is the one the customer signs with e-signatures, and contract attachments let you add your own documents to an estimate, such as the cancellation notice your attorney drafts. The estimate belongs to the customer you saved from the knock, in your client database. If you prefer to start work after the cancellation window closes, a dated Reminder in reminders and tasks keeps that date in front of you, and scheduling books the first visit.
Give a lawn care estimate on the spot by measuring the lawn, pricing it from your standard rates, and sending the estimate to the homeowner or signing it together before you leave the property.
In Atlas the estimate starts from the knock. Open QuoteIQ actions on the knock card and tap Save as contact: QuoteIQ's Add Contact form opens with the knock's address and a note with its status already filled in, so you add the name and phone and the homeowner joins your client database. Back on the card, Estimate opens Create an Estimate with that customer and service address in place, and Invoice and Schedule sit beside it. If you skip Save as contact, Estimate creates the contact for you first.
Measure the property with MapMeasure Pro, give the homeowner good, better and best choices with options estimates, and collect a signature with e-signatures; quick estimates are there for simple jobs. Selling at the home also brings in the FTC's Cooling-Off Rule: for sales of 25 dollars or more at the buyer's residence, give the buyer the notice of cancellation and a dated copy of the agreement, and allow three business days to cancel. Keep the knock's notes, because they travel to the new contact.
Plan the most efficient route for a lawn care crew by putting the day's jobs in the driving order with the fewest road miles, while leaving any job with a promised time in its slot.
In Atlas, Routing draws each crew member's scheduled jobs for the day as a driving route, and Day, Week and Month views step through the calendar; on Month, the density heat map shades each day by how many jobs it holds, and in Day view you can filter the routes by employee. Each route starts where you choose, the employee's live location or one of your company locations. Optimize Now opens Optimize the driving order: Just the order, Version A, reorders the day's stops to cut driving, and Fill in unscheduled work, Version B, also places your Schedule Later jobs onto the days whose route they fit. The result says what you saved, such as Saves 19 miles vs driving these separately, 59.8 mi → 40.7 mi in the demo on this page, and nothing changes until you press Accept. Jobs with a time the customer expects keep their slot. Routing is on the Elite plan and the Max plan.
Fewer miles pay twice. Under 29 CFR 785.38, travel from job site to job site during the workday counts as hours worked, and the IRS standard mileage rate for business driving is 76 cents a mile for July to December 2026. NALP's routing playbook quotes a lawn company that cut overtime significantly by tightening its routes. Routing works from the jobs you book in scheduling; for the rest of the day's planning, see dispatching, route density and QuoteIQ's route optimization in the calendar.
See where your field employees are with location sharing tied to the time clock, so each person appears on the map only while they are clocked in and sharing their location.
In Atlas, Employees shows how many people are on the clock and the size of your team, lists each person as clocked in with their jobs for the day or clocked out, and puts an avatar pin on the map for everyone who is clocked in and sharing. Click a name and the other pins hide while the map flies to that person. In the app's own words, live location only appears while someone is clocked in and has Atlas open, and it is never shown for anyone who is clocked out. Open Time Tracker takes you to Time Tracker Pro. Employees is on the Elite plan and the Max plan.
Clock-ins do double duty. For employees covered by federal minimum wage and overtime rules, 29 CFR 516.2 requires employers to keep records of the hours worked each workday and each workweek, and Time Tracker Pro keeps those shifts. Manage your people in EmployeeHub, decide who sees what with roles and permissions, and see QuoteIQ's location tracking and crews for the rest of the crew picture.
