October 6–12, 2026
More than one company: Easier to run them all.
For owners who run more than one business in QuoteIQ.
- Default company. Pick the company QuoteIQ opens on when you sign in. Each person sets their own, and it follows you across devices.
- Delete a company you no longer use. Its contacts, jobs, invoices and files are kept. QuoteIQ tells you if something has to be cleared first, such as an active subscription, a phone number or active recurring invoices.
- Share contacts between companies. Turn on Share Contacts Between Companies, then use Contacts → ⋮ → Import From Another Company to search your other companies and copy a contact in. The copy is separate from the original, and email and text automations start switched off.
- A clearer “Add Another Business”. QuoteIQ now asks whether you meant to update your current company or start a separate business, explains that the new business starts empty, and won’t accept a name you already use. Only owners can add a company.
Find these in Settings → Company → Companies. The default company and sharing options show when you have more than one company.
Customer notes: On every visit, automatically.
Turn on Add Note To Scheduled Events under a customer’s note, for example a gate code. The note then shows on every one of that customer’s visits, past, present and future, including recurring ones.
It always shows the customer’s current note, so you only update it in one place.
Reopen a completed job.
A job marked Done, and not yet paid, can be put back to Pending.
Look for Reopen Job on the job’s “Job complete” screen, in the Jobs table’s Actions menu, or on the job card on mobile.
Job numbers: Everywhere you need them.
The job number, for example “Job #101”, now shows on invoices, on calendar events and in the web Jobs table, matching what estimates already show.
- Recurring visits show as “Job #105-2”.
- Tapping a job number opens the job.
InstaQuote and inspections: More control.
These build on InstaQuote and inspection forms.
- Choose how customers give the size for each InstaQuote service: Measure on Map, Customer Types It, or Don’t Ask (when the service has a minimum or flat price). If the map can’t load, customers can type the size instead.
- The right units. The customer page uses the right units for each service, such as area, hours or fixtures.
- Dropdown questions in inspections. Inspection templates now offer a Dropdown question, where the inspector picks exactly one answer.
- InstaSchedule “Apply to All Days”. Set your booking hours for one day and copy them to the rest of the week in one tap.
Android: Notification categories.
[Mobile app only] QuoteIQ notifications on Android are now sorted into six categories. In your phone’s settings you can switch off individual categories instead of all QuoteIQ notifications.
If you’d already turned off QuoteIQ notifications, the new categories start off too.
Also improved
Smoother everyday work across the app.
Estimates & Invoices
- [Web app only] Balance Remaining column in the Invoices table, showing what each customer still owes. It’s on by default on the Pending tab.
- Check numbers show on the invoice preview, receipts and the Activity Log.
- Invoices covered by a deposit close themselves. If a deposit already paid the full amount, the new invoice is marked Paid automatically.
- Due dates and expiration dates follow your company’s time zone, so the date you pick is the date that prints on the PDF.
- Draft and Archived estimates say so on their cards.
- Estimate notifications take you straight to that estimate, outlined in the list.
- Switching a service to a flat rate keeps its total, and a service with no price can’t be saved as $0.
Scheduling
- “This Event Only” is offered when you change the date of a single visit in a weekly, every-2-weeks, monthly or yearly series.
- The event editor asks before closing if you have unsaved changes.
Inventory
- Import inventory from your phone. A new ⋮ menu in Inventory and an Import Inventory button on the empty Products screen.
- Inventory tables update straight away after an edit.
Google Reviews
- Drafted replies stay in Needs Reply. The separate AI Drafts tab is gone, so a saved draft stays where it is, ready to approve and post.
- The dashboard reviews card shows your newest waiting reviews first.
Account & AI
- Your plan at a glance. Settings → Account Profile shows your plan, your IQ Credits balance and your extra users, with buttons to manage each.
- The SMS / Twilio settings panel is gone. Text automations already send from QuoteIQ’s own number, so connecting Twilio isn’t needed.
- AI Assistant (Claude, ChatGPT and other connectors). Fewer confirmation steps, supplier orders with several products in one request, and clearer wording on which actions always ask first.
- Payment settings explain more clearly what switching between QuoteIQ Payments and Stripe does.
Around the app
- Better photo quality. Photos picked from your camera roll for estimate and invoice services are saved at the same quality as QuoteIQ Cam photos.
- Spelling. “License” is spelled the US way in Chemical Tracking and the Applicator License section.
- Measuring map. The Pitch / Azimuth switch has been removed from Roof Analysis.
Bug fixes
Items marked [Mobile app only] apply to the iPhone and Android apps only. Items marked [Web app only] apply to QuoteIQ in a web browser only.
AI
- AutoPilot and Ask AI answer again. Since October 3, both replied “I can’t reach the AI service right now.” They’re working again.
Payments
- Web checkouts for QuoteIQ Payments (invoice payments, deposits and Auto-Pay sign-ups) have moved to Whop’s new checkout, ahead of Whop retiring the old one on October 21.
- Identity verification for QuoteIQ Payments opens in a real browser, so the camera, photo uploads and pop-ups work.
- Max includes the AI Website Builder again.
- Extra companies on Max can send proposals, and their employees no longer see a “pick your plan” screen.
- Plan screens show the correct monthly IQ Credits for every plan.
Estimates & Invoices
- A fixed-dollar discount stays in dollars in the estimate editor, package sheet and preview.
- Accepted estimates can’t be declined from their customer link.
- “Hide prices” settings apply on the customer’s estimate link.
- Customer invoice page. It shows the due date, and a part-paid invoice says “Balance Due” with what’s been paid.
- The partial-payment option says “Send a QuickPay link.”
- A draft estimate keeps its edited client message when reopened.
- The Online Self-Scheduling switch on quick estimates saves, so customers get the booking button after accepting.
- The preview PDF loader closes if the PDF fails, instead of staying stuck.
- PDF downloads work when the customer’s name contains a “/”.
- Exports → Estimates exports your estimates instead of saying there are none.
Price Book & Dashboard
- Saving one service no longer overwrites the whole Price Book, so a device that’s been open a while can’t overwrite a teammate’s newer changes.
- Revenue counts deposits, and Sales By Service adds up to revenue.
- YTD Sales and Average Ticket count each paid invoice once.
- Changing a contact’s lead source moves it in Leads By Source.
Calendar, Jobs & Inventory
- Actions on a recurring visit apply to the visit you tapped, not the first visit in the series.
- [Mobile app only] The last Schedule Later jobs are no longer hidden behind the bottom bar on phones.
- Moving stock between locations no longer loses it, and assigning products to a location sticks.
Contacts & Forms
- Calling from a contact-form submission offers Client Hub, like everywhere else.
- Photos on a form submission go to the contact’s Attachments when you convert it.
- [Web app only] Clicking a customer in Search opens their contact page.
- [Web app only] Clicking a row or the Actions menu in the Contacts and Invoices tables works reliably.
QuoteIQ Sign
- Signing links work in Safari before version 26.2, including on older iPads.
- Documents the business has replaced or switched off can no longer be signed, and QuoteIQ Sign shows the right company’s documents after switching companies.
Notifications & Sign-in
- [Web app only] Web notifications arrive reliably, no longer show twice, and take you to the right place when clicked.
- [Mobile app only] A dropped connection no longer locks Android users out. Losing signal could show the plan screen or sign people out.
- Some team members could open into an empty company of their own instead of their employer’s. That no longer happens.
Measuring Map
- Each MapMeasure Pro screen opens on its own address.
- The Search key in address search goes to the address.
- The measurement name is readable in dark mode.
Other fixes
- [Web app only] Before & After on a computer offers the right photo sources, and an existing one opens as “Edit Before & After”.
- [Web app only] Atlas door-knock CSV exports download.
- Applying an InstaQuote template from a dashboard card no longer turns the screen black.
- Invite Sent refreshes the Team list straight away.
