Other tools tire shops compare include Tekmetric, Shopmonkey and Orderry.

The same tools run neighboring mobile vehicle trades too; see QuoteIQ's mobile detailing software page.

What Is the Best Mobile Scanning for Tire Tracking?

What gets captured on the phone, and where it goes.

The best mobile scanning for tire tracking is QuoteIQ Cam with inspection forms (Beginner and up), which capture each tire on the phone and save it to the customer's record. Add a QuickPay QR code the customer scans to pay, and the capture, the record and the payment sit in one app.

  • Photos: QuoteIQ Cam (Beginner and up) files photos and video by job and customer in cloud storage, not on the phone. Annotate a sidewall bulge or curb rash before you start, and the photo protects you if a customer later claims damage.
  • Inspection forms: Build your own tire checklist (tread, sidewall, valve stem, whatever you check) as an inspection form with photos, notes and PDF output (Beginner and up), saved to the customer's record.
  • Before and after: AI before & after from an estimate (every plan) adds a before-and-after preview image to the quote, and the Before & After Photo Editor (Beginner and up) pairs your own photos.
  • Scan to pay: QuickPay creates a payment link and a QR code with your logo; the customer scans it and pays, and the payment saves as a paid invoice.

Everything lands in one app, so the photo, the form, the invoice and the payment sit on the same customer record.

How Do You Track Tire Inventory Across Vans and Job Sites?

Tire inventory tracking for mobile tire businesses.

Track tires as products in QuoteIQ's Inventory Management (Elite and up), with each van, warehouse or job site set up as a location. Products show cost, price and margin with in-stock, low-stock and out-of-stock flags, so the office can see what's on each truck.

On Elite and up, materials on estimates and invoices link to inventory, and stock deducts automatically when the linked invoice is paid in full. Suppliers, Orders (purchase orders) and Transactions sit in the same module for restocking.

If the same account also runs a lawn care or pest control route, Chemical Tracking (Pro and up) keeps pesticide, herbicide and other chemical application records.

How Do Mobile Tire Businesses Get Paid at the Vehicle?

Payments, recurring billing and booking.

Mobile tire businesses get paid at the vehicle with Tap to Pay or a QuickPay QR code the customer scans, and a QuickPay payment saves as a paid invoice. Customers paying later pay online from the invoice link through QuoteIQ's payment processors (Stripe or Whop).

  • Convenience fees: Convenience fees on invoices (every plan) let you add a convenience fee to a tire job's bill, and invoices also carry deposits, partial payments, discounts, per-customer tax rates and automated payment reminders.
  • Fleet accounts: Recurring billing through invoice subscriptions (every plan) bills a fleet or commercial account automatically on Auto-Pay, or generates invoices for manual payment.
  • Booking: InstaSchedule (Elite and Max) lets drivers book a slot from your real-time availability, and InstaQuote (Elite and up) lets them build their own quote first.

QuoteIQ adds a platform fee on customer payments, on top of processing fees, and fees vary by account. Customer financing (via Stripe or Whop) is available at checkout through the payment processors on every plan, and the business is paid upfront.

Package estimates (every plan) bundle services into one price, like a mount, balance and valve-stem package. The AI Estimator (every plan) builds a priced estimate from photos or a job description for you to review before sending.

How Do Mobile Tire Crews Stay Organized Between Stops?

Software for mobile tire businesses with more than one van.

Mobile tire crews stay organized with role-based access, team messaging and a route that puts the day's stops in order. In QuoteIQ that's Roles & Permissions (Beginner and up), plus Team Communication and Route Optimization (both Elite and up).

  • Roles: Roles & Permissions (Beginner and up) controls what each tech can see and do, with templates for Admin, Manager, Crew Leader, Technician and Office Staff, or fully custom permissions.
  • Routes: Route Optimization (Elite and up) puts the day's stops in the most efficient driving order and recalculates when a job is added.
  • Hours: Time Tracker Pro (Elite and up) tracks hours per job from the phone, and GPS location tracking (Elite and up) shows techs only while they're clocked in. Hours feed Job Costing and export for payroll.
  • People: EmployeeHub (Elite and up) keeps employee records with pay rates and availability, and assigning team members to jobs is Pro and up.
  • Files and tasks: The File Manager, Reminders & Tasks and Export Data are on every plan, with File Manager storage from 25 GB on Essentials to 1 TB on Max.

The U.S. Department of Labor says employee “travel from job site to job site during the workday, is work time and must be counted as hours worked.” Check your state's wage rules too, and have an attorney review your contracts.

Best Softwares for Mobile Tire Service Businesses in 2026: FAQs

Updated . Competitor facts checked on each company's own site.

What are the best softwares for mobile tire service businesses in 2026?

QuoteIQ tops the best softwares for mobile tire service businesses in 2026, because one mobile app captures each tire, tracks tires in stock and collects the payment at the vehicle before you drive to the next stop.

Capture runs through QuoteIQ Cam photos and custom inspection forms (Beginner and up): photograph the tread and sidewall, add notes, and the report saves to the customer's record with PDF output. Tracking runs through Inventory Management (Elite and up), where each tire size is a product and each van or warehouse is a location, with low-stock flags, suppliers and purchase orders in the same module.

Payment happens with Tap to Pay or a QuickPay QR code the customer scans. Jobber, Housecall Pro, Service Fusion, ServiceTitan, Kickserv, The Customer Factor and FieldPulse complete the top 8, ranked from each vendor's published features and pricing. Compare plans on QuoteIQ pricing.

Mobile tire businesses track tire inventory by setting up each tire size as a product and each van, warehouse or job site as a location, which is how QuoteIQ's Inventory Management (Elite and up) works.

Products show cost, price and margin, with in-stock, low-stock and out-of-stock flags, and Suppliers, Orders (purchase orders) and Transactions sit in the same module. On Elite and up, materials on estimates and invoices link to inventory, and stock deducts automatically when the linked invoice is paid in full, so the count on each truck stays current without a spreadsheet.

Elite also includes Expense Tracking, which logs what you spend with receipts and categories, and Job Costing, which shows the profit left on each job after labor and expenses. QuoteIQ Cam photos sit on the same customer record as the invoice. See Inventory Management.

Yes: QuoteIQ takes card payments in person with Tap to Pay, or with QuickPay, which turns any amount into a payment link and a QR code with your business logo.

The customer scans the QuickPay code and pays by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer, and the payment saves as a paid invoice. QuickPay runs on QuoteIQ Payments and is on every plan. Customers who pay later open the invoice link and pay online by card, ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and they can add a tip at checkout.

QuoteIQ adds a platform fee on customer payments, on top of processing fees, and fees vary by account. Invoices can also carry convenience fees, deposits and partial payments, and customer card on file (every plan) saves a card for later charges. Review Multiplier, on every plan, sends the customer to your review page right after they pay online. See QuickPay.

QuoteIQ costs $29.99/mo for Essentials, $99.99/mo for Beginner, $199.99/mo for Pro, $299.99/mo for Elite and $699.99/mo for Max, billed monthly, and annual plans are 10 times the monthly price.

Plans include 1, 2, 4, 10 and 20 users, and extra users are $25/per-additional-user/mo. The tire tools sit on different plans: QuoteIQ Cam photos and inspection forms on Beginner and up, Job Costing on Pro and up, and Inventory Management and Route Optimization on Elite and up.

Among the other tools on this list, Jobber Core is $49/mo billed monthly, Kickserv Start is $60/mo billed monthly and Housecall Pro Basic is $79/mo billed monthly on its home-service track. ServiceTitan, Service Fusion and FieldPulse don't publish plan prices. See QuoteIQ pricing. Every plan includes the 14-day free trial, month-to-month billing with no contract and 24/7 live support.

Yes: QuoteIQ's invoice subscriptions (every plan) handle recurring billing for fleet and commercial tire accounts, charging them automatically on Auto-Pay or generating invoices for manual payment.

Subscriptions carry discounts, tax, fees and deposits like any invoice, and an accepted estimate converts straight into a subscription without retyping. If a fleet manager cancels, the cancellation flow offers a pause, a discount or a downgrade first. Customer card on file, also on every plan, saves a card through the payment processor for later charges.

Recurring jobs on the calendar are on every plan too, so each fleet's rotation visits show up on schedule without rebooking them by hand. Fleet managers can pay by card, ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay from the invoice link, and Review Multiplier (every plan) sends them to your review page after they pay online. See invoice subscriptions.

Yes: QuoteIQ's MCP connector (every plan) connects ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Microsoft Copilot or any MCP-compatible assistant to a mobile tire business's account.

The assistant reads the account and answers right away, like which tire jobs are still unpaid, and it can draft estimates, invoices, contacts, jobs and tasks from its 200+ tools. Nothing is written from the chat: every create or change waits in QuoteIQ's in-app approvals screen until someone approves it, and deletes aren't available through the connector. What the assistant can do follows your plan's features.

To set it up, open Settings → Automation, copy the MCP connector link into your assistant and sign in to QuoteIQ. Inside the app, AI AutoPilot does the same kind of work by voice or text, from creating estimates to rescheduling jobs.

A mobile tire business gets plain-language AI reports from QuoteIQ on every plan: ask for revenue this month versus last month, and the answer comes from your own account data.

Basic Business Analytics on every plan shows year-to-date sales, outstanding invoices and Google reviews. Advanced analytics on Beginner and up add close ratio, average ticket, revenue flow, profit and loss, expenses by type, sales by service and leads by source. Expense Tracking and expenses analytics are Beginner and up, and Job Costing is Pro and up.

Export Data (every plan) exports your records for accounting, reporting or backup, and the QuickBooks Online integration (Pro and up) syncs customers, invoices and payments. Every AI action shows its IQ Credit cost before it runs, and AI reports draw on the IQ Credits each plan includes.

Switching a mobile tire business to QuoteIQ starts with a CSV export from your old system, which AI Smart Import (every plan) maps into QuoteIQ column by column. It reads exports from Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan or any other system.

The Imports Hub in Settings → Data brings in contacts, services, estimates, invoices and jobs, with a preview, duplicate flags and an import history, and contacts can come in from the phone's address book too. Done-For-You setup, a one-time service, covers contact import, price book setup and a 1-on-1 onboarding session for a hands-off switch. Your crew uses the iPhone and Android mobile app and the office uses the web app, all on the same data.

Start with the 14-day free trial. A credit or debit card is required to start. Compare QuoteIQ vs Jobber and QuoteIQ vs Housecall Pro.
