Yes. QuoteIQ provides a REST API for submitting form data programmatically. Generate an API key under Quick Links → API Keys, then POST a JSON body to https://us-central1-quoteiq-2.cloudfunctions.net/submitFormV2 with the X-API-Key header. The body must include a form_id and a data object with the fields defined on your form. The endpoint handles validation, applies the same honeypot spam protection as web submissions, and routes the submission to the correct channel. Common use cases include Zapier zaps, Make scenarios, n8n workflows, custom landing pages, CRM webhooks, and ChatGPT actions.

QuoteIQ Contact Forms work on every major CMS. After creating a form in QuoteIQ, tap the share icon to open the embed picker. Choose Inline Widget for direct in-page placement (two lines of HTML — a div with a unique id and a script tag), Popup Widget for a floating button that opens a modal across your whole site, or Direct Link for a shareable URL plus an auto-generated QR code that requires no website at all. Each method gives you copy-paste-ready code that drops into WordPress (Custom HTML block), Squarespace (Code block), Webflow (Embed element), Shopify (Custom Liquid section), or any platform that accepts custom HTML.

11 field types are available: Short Text, Long Text, Email, Phone, Number, Dropdown, Radio, Checkboxes, Address, Date, and Section Headers. Required-field toggles, custom labels and placeholder text, and per-field validation are all configurable. Forms can be set up as single-page or multi-step layouts with progress indicators between steps. Each form can be themed with Modern, Minimal, Soft, or Glass styles and forced into Light, Dark, or System appearance modes regardless of the visitor’s OS preference.

QuoteIQ uses honeypot anti-spam protection. Honeypot fields are hidden form inputs that real customers never see or fill in, but bots automatically populate them. Any submission that hits the honeypot is flagged as spam automatically and kept out of your main inbox. Unlike CAPTCHA, honeypot is invisible to legitimate visitors — there are no puzzles to solve, no traffic light grids, no friction. Submissions you don’t want can also be marked as spam manually from the Submissions inbox.

A channel is the source bucket every submission is assigned to. QuoteIQ ships with five default channels — Website, Email, Phone, Referral, and Walk-in — and you can add unlimited custom channels with your own name, color, and icon. When you create a form, you pick its default channel. Every submission inherits that channel, so when you look at analytics you see how each marketing source is actually performing. Submissions land in the Submissions inbox grouped by channel, ready to be accepted, converted to a customer, or rejected.

Yes. Each inline widget needs its own target div with a unique id. Match the script’s data-target attribute to the div’s id. You can mix multiple inline widgets, one popup widget, and as many direct links as you want on a single page without conflict. Each form keeps its own analytics, channel, and submission inbox independent of the others.

The Form Analytics screen tracks total submissions, acceptance rate, pending count, submissions over time (by day, week, month, quarter, or year), submissions by channel with acceptance percentages, and per-form performance including total submissions, accepted count, conversion rate, and average response time. Date range filters include 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, and all-time. Every metric is updated in real time as submissions come in.

Yes. The QuoteIQ REST API is fully compatible with Zapier, Make, n8n, Pipedream, and any automation platform that supports outbound HTTPS requests with custom headers. Generate an API key in QuoteIQ, then configure your Zapier “Webhooks by Zapier” action (or Make HTTP module) to POST to the submitFormV2 endpoint with the X-API-Key header and a JSON body containing form_id and data. This is how contractors pipe leads from third-party landing pages, ad platforms, and partner sites directly into their QuoteIQ submissions inbox.

Yes. The widget inherits your site’s base font and respects your brand color (set in form settings via the Primary Color override). For deeper customization, the widget exposes CSS classes you can override from your own stylesheet. You also pick from four themes — Modern (deep navy), Minimal (grayscale), Soft (warm orange), and Glass (frosted blue) — and force Light, Dark, or System appearance mode regardless of the visitor’s OS preference.
