QuoteIQ vs LMN

LMN is the gold standard for budget-based estimating in the green industry, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. But for most landscapers — and for the 50+ other home service trades QuoteIQ supports — LMN’s narrow scope and higher entry price make it hard to recommend in 2026. Here is the honest comparison.

Quick Answer

LMN is best-in-class for green-industry companies whose single biggest problem is underpricing jobs and who need budget-based estimating with overhead recovery. QuoteIQ is the better choice for almost everyone else. LMN’s published pricing starts at $297/month for the Starter plan — 1 office/crew lead licence plus 5 crew member licences, after a one-time onboarding fee — and its Professional plan, the tier that carries real-time job costing, is $648/month. QuoteIQ starts at $29.99/month with AI on every plan, including AI Estimator, AI Autopilot and the Virtual Call Team, and it serves 50+ home service industries including landscaping, lawn care and tree care. The U.S. Small Business Administration frames software as an operating decision rather than a one-time purchase — the right platform should still fit three years from now. QuoteIQ is rated 4.7 stars across 4,103 reviews and used by 40,000+ contractors.

Why Most Landscapers Compare LMN to QuoteIQ

TL;DR: LMN built its reputation by being the platform that takes budget-based estimating seriously for the green industry, and that reputation is deserved. If your only problem is “we keep underpricing jobs,” LMN is genuinely excellent. QuoteIQ solves a wider problem for a lower entry price: AI Estimator, MapMeasure Pro satellite measurement, ClientHub two-way calling and texting, Job Costing, InstaQuote self-quoting, InstaSchedule self-booking and Route Optimization, all on one platform. Before you commit either way, run your numbers through the free lawn care cost calculator and read the Bureau of Labor Statistics profile for grounds maintenance workers alongside the SBA’s operations guidance — labour is the line item that decides whether your pricing works.

That is the honest shape of the decision, and the rest of this page is the detail behind it. On LMN’s own published pricing page, Starter is $297/month billed monthly and includes one office or crew lead licence plus five crew member licences; Professional is $648/month billed monthly with three office/crew lead licences and fifteen crew member licences; Enterprise is quoted by sales and starts at 100 users. All three carry an asterisk noting a one-time onboarding fee, and additional licences on any tier cost extra. That onboarding fee matters when you compare monthlies: quoting $297 alone understates what the first year actually costs.

LMN’s published plan comparison is also a useful map of what the platform does not do. It lists budgeting, estimating, scheduling, the LMN Crew app with offline access, invoicing and payments through LMN Pay, a landscaper-designed CRM, a full-feature customer portal, route optimisation, GPS location verification, weather notes, efficiency scores, sales pipeline analytics, job costing, QuickBooks, Zapier on the higher tiers, and SMS customer messaging as a paid add-on. It does not list AI estimating, an AI receptionist, AI content tools, an in-app business phone with two-way calling, review-request automation, or customer self-quoting at any tier. Those are exactly the capabilities QuoteIQ ships, which is why the two platforms end up on the same shortlist for different reasons.

The cleanest framing we can give you: LMN teaches you to price right. QuoteIQ helps you do everything else — including pricing. For a landscaping crew of four running a mix of maintenance, installs and seasonal work, QuoteIQ Pro at $149.99/month covers more of the operating surface than LMN Starter at $297/month, and it does it without a separate onboarding fee attached to the plan.

The 30-Second Verdict

Choose QuoteIQ or LMN?

Both platforms have legitimate use cases. LMN is the right call for a specific kind of green-industry company; QuoteIQ is the right call for most of the rest, including most landscapers. Here is how to tell which one is for you.

Choose QuoteIQ if…

Choose LMN if…

  • Your single biggest problem is consistently underpricing landscaping jobs
  • You want budget-based estimating with overhead recovery enforced on every quote
  • Real-time job costing is mission-critical and you can sit on the $648/month Professional tier
  • You operate exclusively in the green industry — landscaping, hardscape, design and build, tree care, snow and ice, maintenance
  • Vendor bill management and subcontractor tracking are core to how you close out jobs
  • Greenius employee training is already part of your stack as a Granum add-on
  • Offline access in the field matters more than anything on the office side, and LMN Crew’s offline mode is the deciding feature
  • You can absorb $297–$648 per month plus a one-time onboarding fee as a fixed software cost
Bottom Line

LMN teaches you to price right. QuoteIQ helps you do everything else — including pricing. If forced overhead recovery on every quote is the single most important thing in your business, LMN remains best-in-class at that specific job. If you need a complete operations platform that covers pricing plus AI, communication, customer self-service, review management and multi-trade support, QuoteIQ covers more ground per dollar. Start with the free home service business calculators if you are still working out what your true hourly cost is.

Pricing Comparison

Side-by-Side Pricing

LMN publishes plan pricing on its own site; QuoteIQ publishes its five plans at myquoteiq.com/pricing. Every LMN figure on this page was checked against LMN’s live pricing page on September 8, 2026 — see the note below the table. The two platforms structure plans very differently: LMN bundles licences by role (office/crew lead versus crew member) and gates real-time job costing to Professional, while QuoteIQ uses simple per-tier user caps with the full AI suite included at every level.

Honest Read on Price

LMN Starter at $297 and QuoteIQ Elite at $299 sit within two dollars of each other, so this is not a price war — it is a question of what the money buys. Elite includes 10 users, the Virtual Call Team, InstaQuote, InstaSchedule, Route Optimization and Route Density, Inventory Management, Mass Campaigns and EmployeeHub with GPS time tracking. LMN Starter includes six licences and budget-based estimating but holds real-time job costing behind the $648 Professional tier. For a four-person crew, QuoteIQ Pro at $149.99 is roughly half of LMN Starter and still includes job costing.

Source and Method

Every LMN price, licence count and feature-tier claim on this page was read directly from LMN’s own published plans and pricing page on September 8, 2026. QuoteIQ pricing comes from our own pricing page. Software pricing changes; verify both before you commit. We do not quote third-party review-site figures for competitor pricing, because they are frequently out of date — the numbers we saw on aggregators for LMN Professional on the same day ranged from $598 to $697, and none of them matched the vendor’s own page.

What It Actually Costs to Match Features

The True Cost at Feature Parity

Tier-versus-tier pricing is not apples to apples between QuoteIQ and LMN, because the two platforms put different capabilities at different levels. The more useful question is: what plan do I need on each platform to get equivalent capability? Three common green-industry scenarios are below. All LMN figures are the published monthly rates verified on their own pricing page on September 8, 2026, and exclude LMN’s one-time onboarding fee, which is not published.

Scenario 1 — four-person crew that wants AI estimating plus real-time job costing Monthly cost Notes
QuoteIQ Pro — 4 users, AI Estimator, Job Costing, ClientHub, automations, MapMeasure Pro $149.99 All included at this tier
LMN Professional — real-time job costing requires this tier; includes 3 office/crew lead + 15 crew member licences, well above four people $648.00 Plus the SMS add-on if you need customer texting
QuoteIQ difference $498 less per month — roughly 77% lower, about $5,976 a year
Scenario 2 — ten-person operation that wants 24/7 call answering and online booking Monthly cost Notes
QuoteIQ Elite — 10 users, Virtual Call Team, InstaQuote, InstaSchedule, Route Density, EmployeeHub $299.00 All included at this tier
LMN Professional — closest licence match, but their published plans list no AI call answering and no customer self-quoting at any tier $648.00 No listed equivalent for either capability
QuoteIQ difference Roughly 54% lower — about $4,188 a year
Scenario 3 — solo landscaper just starting out Monthly cost Notes
QuoteIQ Essentials — 1 user, 500 IQ Credits, AI Estimator, AI Autopilot, e-signatures, invoicing $29.99 All included at this tier
LMN Starter — lowest published tier; bundles one office/crew lead and five crew member licences you would not use yet $297.00 Five unused crew licences, plus onboarding fee
QuoteIQ difference $267 less per month — roughly 90% lower, about $3,204 a year
A Note on Price Honesty

These comparisons use published list prices only. LMN’s pricing page states that additional licences on Starter and Professional cost extra and that every tier carries a one-time onboarding fee, so a growing crew will pay more than the headline monthly. QuoteIQ’s equivalent add-ons are published too: the AI Website Builder is $34.99/month and included on Max, additional businesses are a paid add-on with four included on Max, and Done-For-You setup is offered at $299.99 or $999.99. If you want to sanity-check your own numbers rather than ours, the business calculators and the lawn care cost calculator are free and require no account.

Two Honest Gaps on Our Side

QuoteIQ does not have offline field access, and it does not have vendor bill management or subcontractor cost tracking. If your crews routinely work in dead zones, or if closing out a job means reconciling supplier invoices and sub payments inside the same system, LMN handles both today and QuoteIQ does not. There is also no native payroll in QuoteIQ — hours from Time Tracker Pro export to whatever payroll system you already run. Those are real trade-offs, and you should weigh them.

Honest Comparison

Where LMN Genuinely Wins

LMN has earned its position by being deeply, specifically good at a narrow set of things. Here is where it is the better choice for the right contractor — and where we would tell you to buy it instead of us.

Budget-Based Estimating

LMN’s defining feature, and it is on every tier. Estimates are built from labour rates, material costs, equipment allocation and overhead recovery, which forces accurate pricing and prevents chronic undercharging. For a landscaper who has been losing money on jobs without knowing why, that discipline alone can change the year. QuoteIQ gives you four estimate types and full line-item control, but it does not force overhead allocation the way LMN does.

Offline Access in the Field

LMN’s crew app lets a team clock in, record notes and photos and log job details with no cell service, then sync when signal returns. If your crews spend real time on rural properties, large estates or new-build sites without coverage, that is a genuine operational advantage. QuoteIQ requires a connection. This is the single most common reason a green-industry operator should pick LMN over us.

Vendor Bills, Subs and Training

LMN’s job costing module covers vendor bill management and subcontractor cost tracking, its crew app records weather notes automatically, and Greenius employee training plugs in as an add-on across all tiers. For a green-industry operator with a complex stack of suppliers, subs and crew certifications, that is workflow QuoteIQ does not replicate. If your close-out process depends on it, LMN is the right tool.

QuoteIQ Advantages

Where QuoteIQ Wins

For most landscapers and every other home service trade, QuoteIQ covers ground LMN’s published plans do not reach. Here are the six reasons contractors most often move.

AI Included on Every Plan

AI Estimator, Before & After AI, Virtual Call Team and AI Autopilot all start at $29.99/month on Essentials with 500 IQ Credits. AI Autopilot alone runs 55 integrated tools across 13 categories from plain-language commands. LMN’s published plan comparison lists no AI capability at any tier.

A Real Phone System, Not an Add-On

ClientHub on Pro gives you a dedicated business number with two-way calling and texting inside the CRM, call routing and forwarding, and every call and text saved to the customer record. LMN’s plans list customer SMS as a paid add-on at $75 setup plus $30/month, with no in-app business phone or two-way calling.

Review Collection on Autopilot

Review Multiplier ships two mechanics: an instant post-payment redirect to your review page, and a full email and SMS review-request automation with four event triggers. Destinations include Google Business Profile, Facebook, Yelp and Angi. LMN’s published plans list no equivalent, so review chasing stays manual.

Customers Quote and Book Themselves

InstaQuote lets a homeowner pick services from your library, see a live total and submit — then approve and book without you touching the phone. InstaSchedule books them against your real calendar availability, 24/7. LMN’s portal handles estimate review and service requests, not full self-quoting.

Measurement Built Into the Estimate

MapMeasure Pro measures lawn, driveway, deck and fence areas from satellite inside estimate creation, saves the measurements to the customer profile and attaches screenshots as visual proof of scope. You can scroll back through years of historical aerial imagery on a property. LMN’s plans do not list satellite measurement, so it is a separate tool and a separate workflow.

Built for 50+ Trades, Not One

QuoteIQ serves 50+ trades — landscaping, irrigation, snow removal, fencing, deck building and more. LMN is purpose-built for the green industry only. If you add a winter or hardscape line that sits outside that definition, one platform still covers it.

Who Built This

QuoteIQ was founded on September 21, 2022 in Savannah, Georgia by Co-Founders Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers — two home service operators who built the CRM they wanted while running crews. That is why the platform is priced for a one-truck operation and still scales to unlimited users on Max, and why it covers every trade instead of one.

The Estimating Question

How to Get Overhead Recovery Without LMN

The strongest argument for LMN is that it will not let you send a quote that ignores your overhead. That is a real product decision and it works. But overhead recovery is arithmetic before it is software, and you can build the same discipline into QuoteIQ’s price book in an afternoon. Here is the method, in the order we teach it to contractors switching over.

Step one: find your true hourly cost

Add up twelve months of fixed costs that exist whether or not a mower turns — insurance, licences, truck payments, shop rent, phones, software, admin wages, accounting. Divide that total by your realistically billable field hours for the year, not your payroll hours. A two-person crew working 40-hour weeks does not bill 4,160 hours; between drive time, weather, maintenance and callbacks, 60–70% billable is a normal starting assumption. That division gives you an overhead cost per billable hour. Add your loaded labour rate — wage plus payroll taxes, workers’ comp and any benefits — and you have the number your price has to beat before profit exists. The Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the median annual wage for building and grounds cleaning occupations at $36,790 as of May 2024, which is a useful sanity check on whether your assumed labour cost is anywhere near market. The IRS small business and self-employed centre is the right reference for which of those costs are deductible and how to categorise them.

Step two: encode it in the price book, not in your head

In QuoteIQ, build each service in the price book at a rate that already carries overhead and target margin — not at your raw labour cost with a mental markup you apply later. That single change is most of what LMN’s forced flow accomplishes. Use the business calculators, including the Hourly Rate Calculator on Pro and above, to set the number, then let the price book carry it on every estimate your team sends. Sub-items and the parent-child line hierarchy let you keep the detail visible internally while the customer sees a clean total, and you can hide individual line-item prices when a homeowner does not need the breakdown.

Step three: close the loop with job costing

Job Costing on Pro and above runs the simple equation that catches bad pricing: total price minus labour minus expenses equals profit, with a margin bar on the job’s Report tab. Labour pulls automatically from time tracking at each employee’s hourly rate, and expenses link to the job through Expense Tracking. After twenty jobs you will know which services are carrying the business and which ones are quietly subsidised. That is the same feedback loop LMN charges $648/month to give you, available on QuoteIQ at $149.99.

The Number That Matters

A crew billing 65% of paid hours instead of 80% needs roughly a 23% higher hourly rate to earn the same money. That is the whole underpricing problem in one line, and it is why measurement and routing pay for themselves. QuoteIQ’s Route Optimization cuts drive time by 15–30%, which moves unbillable windshield hours back into billable ones. Model your own version with the lawn care cost calculator or the tree removal cost calculator before you touch either platform’s pricing page.

Season by Season

How Each Platform Handles a Green-Industry Year

Landscaping is not one business, it is four businesses that trade places across the calendar. A software comparison that only looks at estimating misses most of the year. Here is how the two platforms handle the shape of an actual season.

Spring: the quoting crush

Every green-industry operator knows the six-week window where the phone will not stop and quotes go out late. This is where QuoteIQ’s stack is built to help and LMN’s is not. MapMeasure Pro measures a property from satellite so you can quote maintenance without a site visit. AI Estimator reads property photos, asks targeted follow-ups and builds a line-item quote at local market pricing. InstaQuote lets simple, well-defined services quote themselves off your website. And the Virtual Call Team answers the calls you cannot get to, qualifies the lead, filters spam and sends you a summary — priced per minute out of your IQ Credits rather than as a separate receptionist bill. LMN’s published plans list none of these, so spring throughput stays a function of how many hours you personally have.

Summer: routing, crews and cash

Both platforms take routing seriously, and LMN includes route optimisation on every tier while QuoteIQ gates it to Elite. QuoteIQ adds Route Density, which shows where your work actually clusters so you can plan which zone runs on which day — density decides where, optimisation decides what order. On the cash side, invoicing converts a completed job in one tap, recurring invoice subscriptions handle maintenance contracts, and customers pay by card, ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with cash and cheque recorded in-app. Mass invoicing from the calendar clears a week of completed visits at once. If you invoice by the visit, grab the free landscaping invoice template to see the line structure before you build it in software.

Autumn: bigger tickets, longer sales cycles

Install and hardscape work has a different sales motion — multi-visit, higher ticket, longer to close. Pipelines and Deals on Elite gives you a kanban board with close-probability percentages and weighted forecasting, so a $40,000 patio at 40% shows as $16,000 in the pipeline rather than as wishful thinking. Elite runs up to five pipelines; Max is unlimited. Options estimates present good, better and best tiers in a single document, which is the single highest-leverage change most install crews can make to average ticket. And consumer financing is on every plan: a homeowner applies at checkout in about thirty seconds, gets an instant decision, and you are paid in full up front while Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay carry collections. Affirm covers up to $30,000 per job over three to thirty-six months.

Winter: keeping the crew and the cash flow alive

This is where single-vertical software costs you. A landscaper who runs snow removal, holiday lighting, gutter cleaning or pressure washing through the off-season is running two or three businesses out of one CRM. QuoteIQ treats them all as first-class trades with their own price books and estimate flows, and the Christmas light installation cost calculator, gutter cleaning cost calculator and pressure washing cost calculator are free to price them with. Winter is also when off-season mass campaigns to your existing list earn their keep — on Elite you connect your own Twilio and SendGrid gateways, so carrier fees are yours and the sending is not metered by us.

Safety and Compliance Note

Landscaping and horticultural services fall under NAICS code 561730, and OSHA’s landscape and horticultural services topic page is the authoritative reference for the hazards that actually generate citations in this trade — personal protective equipment, hazard communication, electrical clearance around tree work and heat exposure. Neither platform is a safety programme. What software can do is document the job: QuoteIQ’s inspection forms and QuoteIQ Cam give you dated, job-linked photo evidence of site conditions before and after the crew was there, which is the record you want if a claim ever lands.

How IQ Credits Work

Every plan includes a monthly allocation of IQ Credits — 500, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 or 8,000 — that reset each billing cycle and power the AI features. A proposal send costs 100 credits and is free on trial, Elite and Max. Virtual Call Team time runs at 125 credits per minute. Every AI action shows its credit cost before it runs and asks you to confirm, so there are no surprise draws. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable once purchased or consumed; the core CRM never requires them. Compare the tiers in detail on the pricing page or the individual Beginner and Elite plan pages.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is QuoteIQ better than LMN for landscaping in 2026?

For most landscapers, yes — QuoteIQ covers more of the business for less money. The honest exception is a company whose single biggest problem is chronic underpricing: LMN’s budget-based estimating with enforced overhead recovery is best-in-class at that specific job, and it is on every LMN tier from $297/month. The second exception is offline field work, which LMN’s crew app handles and QuoteIQ does not.

Everywhere else the comparison favours QuoteIQ. Pro at $149.99/month covers four users with AI Estimator, real-time job costing, ClientHub two-way calling and texting, MapMeasure Pro satellite measurement and event-triggered automations — roughly half the price of LMN Starter, which does not include job costing at all. The dedicated landscaping software page has the full trade-specific breakdown. If you are still working out whether your current pricing clears your true cost per hour, start with the BLS profile for grounds maintenance workers and the free lawn care cost calculator before you evaluate either platform.

How much does LMN cost per month in 2026?

LMN publishes three plans. Starter is $297 per month billed monthly and includes one office or crew lead licence plus five crew member licences. Professional is $648 per month billed monthly with three office/crew lead licences and fifteen crew member licences, and it is the tier that carries real-time job costing, Zapier connections, equipment and material costing, and files and photos on documents. Enterprise is quoted by their sales team and starts at 100 users. All three tiers carry a one-time onboarding fee that is not published, and additional licences cost extra — so budget above the headline monthly. These figures were read from LMN’s own pricing page on September 8, 2026.

By comparison, QuoteIQ runs five published tiers with no separate onboarding requirement: Essentials at $29.99, Beginner at $74.99, Pro at $149.99, Elite at $299 and Max at $699 with unlimited users, all with two months free on annual billing. Optional Done-For-You setup is available at $299.99 or $999.99. Third-party review sites frequently list stale competitor pricing, so check the vendor’s own page — the SBA’s guidance on managing operating costs is a good frame for evaluating recurring software spend properly.

Does QuoteIQ have budget-based estimating like LMN?

Not in the same enforced form, and it is worth being straight about that. QuoteIQ gives you four estimate types — Standard, Quick, Options and Package — with full line-item control over labour rates, material costs, markup and discount, plus a Materials section that links to inventory products. You can absolutely build overhead recovery into that structure by pricing your price book at a rate that already carries overhead and target margin. What QuoteIQ does not do is refuse to let you send a quote until you have entered an overhead recovery percentage. LMN does, and for a team that needs the rails, that difference is the whole product.

The practical answer is to do the arithmetic once and encode it. Use the business calculators — including the Hourly Rate Calculator on Pro and above — to establish your true cost per billable hour, then let Job Costing and Expense Tracking tell you within a month whether the number holds. The IRS small business centre is the right reference for categorising the overhead you are trying to recover.

Does QuoteIQ have real-time job costing?

Yes. Job Costing is included on the Pro plan at $149.99 per month and above. Each job gets a Report tab running total price minus labour minus expenses equals profit, with a profit-margin bar. Labour is pulled automatically from time tracking — each employee’s hourly rate multiplied by clocked hours — and expenses link to the job through Expense Tracking, which is available from Beginner. On Elite, Time Tracker Pro adds GPS clock in and out, so the hours feeding the calculation are verified rather than self-reported.

LMN’s real-time job costing sits on its Professional tier at $648 per month; the $297 Starter tier does not include it. So a four-person crew that wants job costing pays $149.99 on QuoteIQ or $648 on LMN — a difference of roughly 77%. That said, LMN’s implementation goes deeper on equipment costing, vendor bills and subcontractor tracking, which QuoteIQ does not cover. Pair job costing with business analytics to see margin by service and by crew, and check your labour assumptions against the BLS wage data for building and grounds occupations, which put the group median at $36,790 in May 2024.

What is the best CRM for a landscaping business in 2026?

It depends on which problem is costing you the most money, and there are only really two answers. If you are underpricing jobs and need a system that will not let you quote without recovering overhead, LMN is the specialist and it starts at $297 per month. If your bottleneck is anything else — quotes going out too slowly in spring, missed calls, no review flow, manual scheduling, no visibility on margin — QuoteIQ is the broader platform and starts at $29.99 per month with the full AI suite on every plan.

QuoteIQ is used by 40,000+ contractors and rated 4.7 stars across 4,103 reviews, and it supports the entire green-industry calendar rather than one slice of it: landscaping, lawn care, tree care, irrigation and snow removal, plus 45 more trades if you diversify. Whichever way you lean, evaluate on your own numbers rather than a feature list: the SBA’s manage-your-business guide walks through the operating-cost view that should drive the decision. You can compare QuoteIQ against other platforms on the comparison hub.

How do I switch from LMN to QuoteIQ?

Most landscaping companies move in three to seven days of real work, spread over a two to four week overlap. Start a 14-day free trial on the plan that matches your team size, then export your customers, price book and active jobs from LMN as CSV files. AI Smart Import maps the columns automatically, so you are not reformatting spreadsheets by hand, and you can import from phone contacts too. A credit or debit card is required to start.

The pattern that works for a landscaping operation: keep LMN running for jobs already in flight, start every new lead in QuoteIQ, and cut over once the last open job closes. Set up your automation sequences and Review Multiplier during the overlap so the new system is already earning by the time you switch fully, and connect QuickBooks Online before your first month-end. If you would rather not run the migration yourself, Done-For-You setup is available at $299.99 or $999.99 and covers contact import, price book setup and a one-on-one onboarding session. The SBA’s operations guidance on running systems in parallel during a transition is worth reading first.

Does QuoteIQ integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes — QuoteIQ integrates natively with QuickBooks Online, available on the Pro plan at $149.99 per month and above. The sync covers invoices, payments, customers and expense categories, includes duplicate-sync locks so records do not double up, and auto-syncs missing customers before an estimate syncs across. LMN also offers QuickBooks Online on all of its tiers, so on this specific point the two platforms are close.

If your accountant needs data outside that sync, data export is available on every plan and your data is yours. Note that QuoteIQ has no native payroll — hours captured in Time Tracker Pro export to whatever payroll system you already run, and there is no automatic overtime calculation. Pair the accounting sync with Expense Tracking and Job Costing so the numbers in your books and the numbers on your jobs agree. The IRS small business and self-employed centre covers the recordkeeping standards those exports need to satisfy.

Should I use both LMN and QuoteIQ together?

Generally no. Running both permanently means duplicate data entry, two versions of the truth on every customer, and a combined bill somewhere between roughly $327 and $950 per month depending on the tiers — a cost very few operations can justify. The one sensible exception is a transition: keep LMN for jobs already in flight and historical records while you build out QuoteIQ for new leads, then decommission LMN once the last open job closes. A two to four week overlap is normal and prudent.

After the overlap, consolidate. Most landscapers who complete the move report that Pro at $149.99 — AI Estimator, job costing, ClientHub and automated review requests — covers what they were paying substantially more for, with AI they did not previously have. Before you decide, price a few of your own real jobs in both systems using the free lawn care cost calculator as a control. The OSHA landscape and horticultural services page is also worth a look while you are documenting your processes — whichever platform you land on, your job records should support your safety programme, not fight it.

The Short Version

Key Takeaways

  • Price: LMN’s published plans are $297 and $648 per month plus a one-time onboarding fee. QuoteIQ runs $29.99 to $699, with two months free on annual billing.
  • Job costing: QuoteIQ includes it from Pro at $149.99. LMN gates it to Professional at $648 — roughly 77% more for the same capability.
  • AI: QuoteIQ ships AI Estimator, AI Autopilot and the Virtual Call Team on every plan. LMN’s published plans list no AI at any tier.
  • Communication: ClientHub gives you a business number with two-way calling and texting on Pro. LMN sells customer SMS as an add-on at $75 setup plus $30 per month.
  • Where LMN wins: enforced overhead recovery on every quote, offline field access, vendor bills and subcontractor tracking. Those are real, and QuoteIQ does not match them.
  • Scope: LMN is green industry only. QuoteIQ covers 50+ trades, which matters if you run snow or holiday lighting in the off-season.
  • Try before you decide: QuoteIQ’s 14-day free trial grants full access to the features of the plan you pick. LMN’s pricing page routes you to a demo booking instead.
