Your customer views it
It opens in any browser. They tap photos or save a PDF.
Every job photo, filed where it belongs.
Shoot it on site; it lands under the customer and the job.
QuoteIQ Cam opens on your latest work: Capture, Inspection, Job form, Before & After and Gallery across the top, then Recent, Inspections, Job forms, Before & After, Gallery and Team activity below.
Photos in, job form saved.
Create Job Form opens with the customer and the address, and Take More Photos adds pictures from the camera or your device. Save uploads them to the cloud, and back in the Job Archive the new job sits on top with its photos.
A title and a note on every photo.
Open a photo to swipe through the job's pictures. Image Details holds the title, a description such as "Two coats, trim cut in" and when it was last updated; Save Changes keeps it and Download saves the photo to your phone.
Fix the light before you send it.
The photo editor crops, adjusts Brightness and Saturation, and adds text or your company logo, and Start Over undoes it all. Save puts the edited photo back on the job with a new Last Updated time.
Filed by customer, job and date
Every job form, inspection and before and after belongs to a customer, so the photos stay with the job in the cloud instead of in one person's camera roll.
Your team's uploads
Team activity on the Cam home shows the latest photos from your crew as they are saved, so the office sees the work without asking for it.
Show the difference in one image.
Before on one side, after on the other, saved to the customer.
Create Before & After takes the before photo and the after photo, lays them out Top-Down or Side-by-Side and saves the finished image to the customer, your camera roll or both. See the before and after photo editor.
Two photos, one image.
With the before photo on the job, Add After Photo opens Choose a source: Camera, My Device or Gallery. Save & Continue opens Choose Layout, and Top-Down View stacks the before over the after in the Preview.
Saved where the customer is.
Save opens Save Options: Save in App or Save to Camera Roll. Assign Contact picks the customer, or you can skip it and save it unassigned, and the new before and after tops Recent on the Cam home.
No after photo yet? Draft one.
The AI Photo Generator card shows your IQ Credits balance and the estimated cost. Generate with AI, describe the work, review the AI photo next to the before, then Save as After Photo or Regenerate.
Every before and after in one list.
See all on the Before & After section opens the Before After Archive, newest first, each card showing the pair, the customer, the address and the date. Tap one to reopen it with its generated image.
Two layouts
Top-Down View stacks the before above the after; Side-by-Side View puts them next to each other. Either one is saved as a single image you can text, post or add to a proposal.
AI photos use IQ Credits
The AI Photo Generator uses IQ Credits from your plan, and the card shows the balance and the estimated cost before you generate. An AI after photo shows what the work could look like, so label it as an illustration in any ad, as the FTC's advertising FAQ expects ads to be truthful.
Put every job photo where your customers can see it.
Shoot it, file it and send it from the app you already run the business in.
Inspection photos the customer can open.
Photos inside the report, sent by text before you start.
Inspection forms in QuoteIQ Cam keep a photo with the answers you record on site. Build your own checklists with inspection forms.
A photo against the answer.
In Create Inspection Report, answer each item, then tap its camera to attach photos. Choose from Inspection picks from the Property Pictures you already took, and each photo lands as a thumbnail under the item.
Every photo from the walk-through.
Open a saved inspection and tap any photo to see it full screen. Swipe through the rest, each with the date and time it was saved.
Send the report before the work starts.
The saved inspection's menu offers View PDF, Send Text, Send Email, Share File and Copy Link. Send Text opens the Text Form with the customer's number and a message with the report link, ready to send.
The customer sees what you saw.
In the client portal, Inspections lists the customer's completed reports. Tapping one opens the report with the technician, the property, the answers and the photos from the walk-through.
Your own checklists
Build inspection forms with your own questions and fill them in on site. The finished report is a PDF you can view, text, email, share as a file or copy as a link.
The same photos on the estimate, the invoice and the text.
Photos travel with the paperwork.
Photos attach to the documents and messages your customers already get: estimates, invoices, ClientHub texts and deals in the sales pipeline.
Photos on the estimate.
In Update Estimate, the Photos section attaches pictures from the camera or your device, and the estimate shows the photos you attached.
Photos on the invoice.
Attach Photos adds service images to an invoice line, and the invoice preview shows the photo next to the service it belongs to.
A photo in the text thread.
In a customer's ClientHub thread, the attach menu offers Take Photo, Choose from Gallery and Choose PDF File, and the photo goes out with the text.
Photos on the deal.
In a deal's Details, Attachments holds PDFs and media. Add Media brings in photos, and Open shows them full screen with a counter.
Shoot once, use everywhere
The same job photos can go on the estimate, the invoice, a text and a deal, so the crew never re-shoots the job for different paperwork.

Photo management software for contractors, explained.
Straight answers about organizing, sharing and keeping job photos, and about AI after photos.
Updated
Contractors organize job site photos with photo management software that files each one under the customer and the job the moment it is taken, instead of sorting a camera roll later. In QuoteIQ Cam every photo goes into a job form, an inspection or a before and after that belongs to a customer, so the pictures stay with the job in the cloud and anyone on the team can find them by customer, job or date.
Start from the QuoteIQ Cam home: Capture, Inspection, Job form, Before & After and Gallery sit across the top, and Recent, Inspections, Job forms, Before & After and Team activity list the latest work. Customers come from your client database, crews from crews and EmployeeHub, and roles and permissions decide who sees what. The same photos attach to estimates and invoices, and QuoteIQ Cam is included from the Beginner plan up.
Keep job photos as long as the records they support; the IRS explains how long to keep business records.
You make a before and after photo by shooting the before photo before work starts, the after photo from the same spot when you finish, and placing the two side by side or one above the other in a single image. In QuoteIQ Cam, Create Before & After does that on the phone: add the before photo, tap Add After Photo, choose Top-Down View or Side-by-Side View, preview it and save it.
Save Options keeps the finished image in the app, in your camera roll or both, and Assign Contact files it under the customer. It appears in the Before After Archive, and you can send it in a ClientHub text, show it in the client portal, add it to proposals or keep it in the Gallery. No after photo yet? The AI Photo Generator drafts one from the before photo using IQ Credits; see the before and after photo editor and the AI image generator.
Shoot both photos from the same place, height and angle so the work is the only difference. If you use an AI after photo in an ad, label it as an illustration: the FTC's advertising FAQ for small businesses says ads must be truthful.
A job site photo report should include the customer, the address, the date, photos of the condition before work, progress and finished photos, and a short note on what each photo shows. QuoteIQ Cam builds that record as you work: a job form holds the customer, the address, a description and every photo you add, and each photo can carry its own title and description in Image Details.
For a formal walk-through, use inspection forms: your own checklist questions, answered on site with photos and saved as a PDF you can view, text, email, share or copy as a link. Pair the report with the estimate it leads to, keep the finished photos for the invoice, and let QuoteIQ Sign, on Pro and up, record the customer's acceptance in writing. Crews add photos from their phones with mobile and web access.
Trades have their own standards: roofers can look to the National Roofing Contractors Association, and renovation work on older homes carries recordkeeping duties under the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting program.
Contractors share job photos with customers by sending one link or one file instead of a string of separate pictures, so the customer sees the whole job in order. QuoteIQ Cam sends a job photos page that opens in any browser with your company name, the job, the date, the before and after and the photo gallery, and the customer can tap any photo to see it full screen.
On that page the customer can select photos and generate a PDF, or download the job's photos as a PDF. You can also text a photo in a ClientHub thread, send the inspection report by text or email, show before and afters in the client portal, and attach photos to estimates and invoices. Signed paperwork sits beside them in QuoteIQ Sign.
Ask before you post a customer's home publicly; the U.S. Copyright Office FAQ explains who owns a photo, and a written OK from the customer avoids surprises.
Contractors take photos before starting a job to record the condition of the property, so damage that was already there is on file before the crew touches anything. Photos of cracked concrete, worn shingles or a broken sprinkler head settle disputes quickly and show the customer exactly what the estimate covers.
In QuoteIQ Cam the before photos go into a job form or an inspection form under the customer, each with the date and time it was saved. Send the inspection report by text before the work starts, attach the photos to the estimate, and use them later as the before half of a before and after. Your crew shoots them from their phones through EmployeeHub, and everything stays on the customer's record in the client database.
Keep safety in the frame too: OSHA's construction resources cover the site hazards worth recording.
A contractor should keep job photos at least as long as the tax and business records they support, which the IRS generally puts at three to seven years, and longer when a warranty or a dispute could reach further back. Photos that back up an invoice, a warranty or an insurance claim are part of the job file, not just marketing.
The IRS guidance on how long to keep records ties the period to your tax return, and the IRS recordkeeping page explains what counts as a business record. QuoteIQ Cam stores photos in the cloud by job and date under the customer, next to the estimate, the invoice and the signed agreement in QuoteIQ Sign. Your client database keeps the customer's history in one place, and roles and permissions decide who can see and change it.
Warranty periods differ by trade and by contract, so check your own warranty terms as well.
Contractors should label an AI-generated after photo as an illustration or a preview of the planned result, never as a photo of finished work, because it shows what the job could look like rather than what was done. In QuoteIQ Cam the AI Photo Generator makes that preview from your before photo: you describe the work, review the AI photo next to the before, and save it as the after photo or regenerate it.
Use AI previews to help a customer picture the result while you quote, in the estimate or a proposal, and swap in the real after photo when the job is done so your Gallery and reviews show real work. The generator uses IQ Credits; see pricing for each plan's monthly credits and the AI image generator for QuoteIQ's other image tools.
The FTC's advertising FAQ for small businesses says ads must be truthful and not misleading, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework encourages being clear about when content is made by AI.
A photo management app for a small contractor is usually a monthly subscription, and in QuoteIQ the photo tools come inside the plan you already use for estimates and invoices. QuoteIQ Cam is included from the Beginner plan at $99.99/month with 2 users, and on Pro at $199.99/month, Elite at $299.99/month and Max at $699.99/month.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A credit or debit card is required to start. Compare plans on the pricing page or go straight to the Beginner plan or the Pro plan. Each plan also includes IQ Credits for AI tools such as the AI image generator, and the same subscription covers estimates, invoicing and scheduling.
When you compare subscriptions, read the trial and renewal terms; the FTC's advertising and marketing guidance covers how free trials and automatic renewals must be disclosed.
A photo inspection is a walk-through checklist where each item gets an answer, a note and a photo, finished as a report the customer can read. In QuoteIQ, inspection forms run in QuoteIQ Cam: pick the form, answer each question on site, add photos, and the saved inspection keeps every photo with the date and time it was saved.
From the saved inspection's menu you can view the PDF, send it by text or email, share the file or copy the link, and the customer opens the report in their browser. Build your own checklists in inspection forms, turn findings into an estimate, put the job on the schedule, and keep the report in the customer's client portal and client database. The pressure washing and lawn care pages show inspections by trade.
Trade associations publish inspection practice for their work, such as Power Washers of North America and the National Association of Landscape Professionals.
