Top 10 Best Customer Map Software for Cleaning Businesses in 2026

Most cleaning companies can see today’s jobs on a map. Far fewer can see every customer on one, which is what you need to price new quotes, build tighter routes and decide where to sell next. We compared 10 tools on what their maps actually show, what they cost and where they stop.

Quick Answer

The best customer map software for cleaning businesses in 2026 is QuoteIQ. Its Atlas map plots customers and jobs as color-coded pins, shows property lines as you zoom in, and lives in the same app as quotes, scheduling and invoices, so there is no second tool to keep in sync. In the documentation we reviewed, Jobber, Housecall Pro and ZenMaid map the day’s appointments but do not describe an all-customers map. Maptive, Mapline and Badger Maps are strong stand-alone maps without scheduling or invoicing. QuoteIQ’s routing and live employee tracking need Elite or Max.

Pricing and map features were checked against each vendor’s own pages on October 13, 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm current rates before you buy.

How We Picked the Top 10

We’re QuoteIQ. We made this list. We also picked our own platform as #1, so here is exactly how we decided, and where every tool on the list, ours included, falls short. “Customer map software” can mean three different things, so we sorted tools into three kinds before ranking anything:

Then we scored each tool on five criteria, in this order of weight:

  1. Customer map depth. Does the map show customers who have nothing scheduled today? Can you color, filter or layer them?
  2. Fit for a cleaning business. Does the map sit beside quotes, schedules and invoices, or is it a stand-alone tool you feed by hand? For house cleaning and janitorial work alike, a map nobody updates is worse than no map.
  3. Routing and density. Can the tool help sequence stops or group customers by area so crews spend less of the day driving?
  4. Price transparency. Vendors that publish prices scored higher than vendors that ask you to request pricing.
  5. Setup effort and data freshness. How much manual work does it take to keep the pins correct as customers join, move and cancel?

How we gathered evidence. We read each vendor’s own pricing pages and help documentation, all checked on October 13, 2026. Where a vendor’s page showed no price, we say so instead of repeating a third-party estimate. We did not run hands-on tests of competing products, so when a feature isn’t described in the material we reviewed, we write “not documented in what we reviewed,” not “doesn’t exist.” Ask for a demo to confirm anything that matters to your decision. For QuoteIQ, we used our own product documentation, and the 14-day free trial exists so you can test our claims too.

What we left out. BookingKoala is cleaning-specific, but the public pages we reviewed describe no map. FieldPulse publishes no prices and we found no customer-map details. Both are fair to check on your own.

“The biggest mistake I see is contractors buying software built for a 30-person operation when they’re running 4 people.”

— Justin Rogers, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ

That is why our ranking favors tools that fit a cleaning company with one to ten crews. A heat-map platform is impressive, but if you run three cleaners, the question is whether the map saves you a tank of gas a week and a few wasted quote visits.

1

QuoteIQ — Best Overall Customer Map Software for Cleaning Businesses

From $29.99/mo · 14-day free trial on every plan · Annual billing = 2 months free

QuoteIQ is the only tool on this list whose documentation describes both an all-customers map and the quoting, scheduling and invoicing behind it, in one account. The map is called Atlas, and it is live on every plan. Its Customers view (Map View) draws your customers and jobs as color-coded pins on a satellite map, and map layers switch on and off so you can focus on what you need. Because Atlas plots the customers and jobs already in your QuoteIQ account, you aren’t building and maintaining a separate map file, and a separate file is where spreadsheet-based maps tend to go stale.

For a cleaning company the payoff is practical. You can see which neighborhoods you already serve and which one-off customers sit far outside your routes. That is the information that decides whether a $120 first clean is worth the drive.

Best for: Residential, commercial and exterior cleaning companies, from a solo owner to a ten-person operation, that want the customer map, the calendar and the invoices in one place.

What the QuoteIQ map does for a cleaning business

Which plan? Essentials ($29.99/mo, 1 user) gets a solo owner the customer map and the quoting workflow. Beginner ($99.99/mo, 2 users) adds MapMeasure Pro and Property Street View. Pro ($199.99/mo, 4 users) suits a small crew. Elite ($299.99/mo, 10 users) adds routing, route density, live employee locations and InstaSchedule online booking. Max ($699.99/mo) includes 20 users. Extra users are $25 a month on any paid plan, and annual billing gives you two months free.

Pros

  • The customer map is on every plan, including the $29.99 Essentials plan
  • Plots the customers and jobs already in your account, so there is no separate map file to maintain
  • Quoting, scheduling, invoicing and mapping share one account
  • Satellite measuring and property data suit exterior cleaning quotes
  • Published pricing and a 14-day trial on every plan

Cons

  • Atlas Routing, live employee locations, Route Optimization and Route Density need Elite ($299.99/mo) or Max ($699.99/mo)
  • Lead and property-owner data are paid unlocks, priced per record or per ZIP, so confirm current rates in the app; owner details aren’t available in every state, so check yours before buying
  • Heat maps and drive-time areas aren’t among Atlas’s documented features, unlike Maptive or Badger Maps Enterprise Plus
  • QuoteIQ serves 50+ trades rather than being cleaning-only; if you want software designed around maid-service workflows alone, ZenMaid is built that way

“I’ve watched contractors spend three hours on the road to quote a $200 job…”

— Mike Vidan, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ

Verdict: If you run a cleaning company with one to ten crews and you want to see every customer, every job and every quote request in the same place, QuoteIQ is the strongest fit on this list. Solo owners can start at $29.99/mo for the map and the quoting workflow. Companies that want routing and live crew locations should plan on Elite. If you only need pins from a spreadsheet and nothing else, a free tool will do.

Jobber — Best Polished Scheduler With a Map View

Core from $29/mo · Connect from $99/mo · Grow from $149/mo (1 user, billed annually)

Jobber is a general service-business platform for quoting, scheduling, invoicing and client messaging, and it publishes a lot of guidance for cleaning companies. Its map lives inside the schedule. The Map view lists the day’s tasks (scheduled, anytime and unscheduled) beside a map, with a pin for each task linked to a client and property. Pins take the assigned user’s calendar color when you set those up, a legend explains the pin types, and blue lines show the routing order when a day has at least two anytime visits. An address Jobber can’t locate gets a red pin in the task list, which you fix under Properties with Adjust Map Location.

Two caveats matter for this list. The help article we reviewed (updated December 13, 2025) covers Jobber’s legacy schedule; for the newer schedule, a map can be added as an extra view alongside day, week and month. And the article describes pins for tasks, not for every customer. In a Jobber community thread asking how to see all customers on a map, a staff reply pointed to the Route Optimization settings view instead of a dedicated customer map. Jobber lists Route Optimization on its feature pages, but the page doesn’t say which plan includes it.

Pricing: Core is $29/mo billed annually, $39 on a one-year commitment paid monthly, or $49 month-to-month for one user. Connect runs $99, $119 or $139 on the same terms, and Grow runs $149, $169 or $199. Grow with five users is $229 to $299 a month depending on billing, and additional users cost $29 a month each. A 14-day free trial is available.

Best for: Cleaning businesses that want a polished scheduler and are happy to see the day’s visits on a map instead of every customer.

Pros

  • Day-of map with calendar colors and a pin legend
  • Route lines appear when a day has two or more anytime visits
  • Quoting, scheduling and invoicing in one app
  • Prices are published, and a mobile map view was announced in March 2023

Cons

  • No documented map of all customers
  • Only tasks linked to a client and property get a pin
  • Cost climbs with each added user and plan tier
  • Plan placement of Route Optimization isn’t stated on its feature page

Verdict: A solid choice if your priority is running the day from a clean schedule. If you want to see customers who have nothing booked, Jobber’s documentation doesn’t show that today.

3

Housecall Pro — Best for Crews That Want Employee Colors on the Schedule Map

Basic $59/mo · Essentials $149/mo · Max $299/mo (billed annually)

Housecall Pro is a general field service platform with scheduling, dispatch, estimates and invoicing. Its Map View sits on the Schedule tab (help article updated August 20, 2026). Jobs, estimates and events that have an address appear as pins. You can color the pins by employee or by area, nearby visits cluster into groups so the map stays readable, and in day view route lines show the distance and drive time between stops. For a cleaning crew with several teams, coloring pins by team is a quick way to see who is working which side of town.

The limit is the same one most schedule maps have: the map plots scheduled items, not people. A customer with no job, estimate or event isn’t shown as a pin in the documentation we reviewed. The help article also doesn’t say which plans include Map View, so ask during a demo.

Pricing: Basic is $59/mo billed annually or $79 monthly for one user. Essentials is $149 annual or $189 monthly for up to five users and, per the pricing page, adds routes and employee GPS tracking. Max is $299 annual or $329 monthly for up to eight users, adds route optimization, and charges $35 a month for each extra user. A 14-day free trial is available.

Best for: Cleaning companies with two to eight people that want employee-colored pins and drive-time lines on the schedule.

Pros

  • Pins can be colored by employee or area
  • Clustering keeps busy days readable
  • Route lines show distance and drive time in day view
  • Employee GPS tracking starts on Essentials

Cons

  • Customers without a scheduled item don’t appear
  • Route optimization is on the top tier
  • Map View plan placement isn’t stated in the help article
  • Extra users on Max cost $35 a month each

Verdict: Strong for supervising a multi-crew day. It maps work, not your customer base, so it won’t help you decide where to market or which new quotes fit your routes.

ZenMaid — Best Built Only for Maid Services

Starter $19/mo · Pro $39/mo · Pro Max $49/mo, plus per-user fees

ZenMaid is scheduling and booking software built for residential cleaning services. Its scheduling page lists a “MAP view,” described as a bird’s-eye view of your cleaning service routes, and a dispatch view that shows where each cleaner is. In the owner and manager app, a Daily Route map shows today’s appointments as numbered pins with a Street View image, and hands directions off to Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.

Two things we did not find documented: a map of all customers pulled from your contacts, and multi-stop route planning that reorders the day for you. ZenMaid’s strength is that everything else, from booking forms to cleaner scheduling, is designed around maid-service workflows.

Pricing (from ZenMaid’s help article dated June 4, 2026): Starter is $19/mo for up to 40 appointments a month plus $4 per user. Pro is $39 plus $14 per user, and Pro Max is $49 plus $24 per user. Text-message bundles start at $14 for 125 messages, and annual billing is available on request. ZenMaid’s marketing page advertises a 14-day free trial and month-to-month terms.

Best for: Residential maid services that want software designed only around cleaning and don’t need an all-customers map.

Pros

  • Built specifically for cleaning companies
  • Map view of routes plus cleaner location in dispatch
  • Daily Route map with Street View and directions handed off to your navigation app
  • Low entry price at $19/mo

Cons

  • No all-customers map documented
  • No multi-stop route planning documented
  • Per-user fees and text bundles add to the base price
  • Starter is capped at 40 appointments a month

Verdict: If you run only a residential maid service and want cleaning-first software, ZenMaid deserves a demo. If you also want to see every customer on a map and sell to nearby streets, QuoteIQ covers more of that ground.

5

Maptive — Best for Heat Maps and Territories

45-Day Pass $250 one-time · Pro $1,250/yr or $110/mo · Team $2,500/yr or $220/mo

Maptive is a mapping platform, not a CRM. You upload your customer list and it plots every address on a map. On Maptive’s pricing page, every plan includes heat mapping, territory management, drive-time polygons and route optimization for up to 70 stops, and a single map can hold up to 200,000 markers. A 10-day trial is offered.

For a cleaning company, the useful tricks are specific. Draw a drive-time area around your office to decide how far you will travel for a standard clean. Use the heat map to see where customers are densest and which neighborhoods are worth a postcard campaign. Split territories between crews so each one stays in its own part of town. Those are real strengths, and heat maps aren’t among Atlas’s documented features.

The trade-off is everything around the map. Maptive does not schedule jobs, send quotes or collect payments, so your customer data lives in another system and the map is only as fresh as your last upload. Price context: Pro at $1,250 a year is roughly 3.5 times the annual cost of QuoteIQ Essentials at monthly billing ($359.88), and it covers one user, with additional users at $750 each. Team covers five users.

Best for: Larger or analytically minded cleaning owners who already run their schedule elsewhere and want territory and heat-map analysis on top.

Pros

  • Heat maps, territories and drive-time areas on every plan
  • Handles very large customer lists (200,000 markers per map)
  • Route optimization up to 70 stops
  • Published prices and a short-term pass for one-off projects

Cons

  • No scheduling, quoting or invoicing
  • Customer data must be uploaded and refreshed by hand
  • Priced per user, from $1,250 a year
  • More capability than most one-to-five-crew cleaning companies will use

Verdict: The most powerful pure map on this list. It earns #5 because it is a second system to feed, not because the map is weak.

6

Mapline — Best for Commercial Cleaners Planning Routes From Spreadsheets

Contact Mapline for pricing · 7-day free trial on select offerings

Mapline turns spreadsheet data into maps. Its homepage describes pasting data to plot customer locations, color-coding pins, heat maps for density, radius circles and drive-time polygons, plus demographic layers such as population density, age and income. Territories can be created, split, merged and edited, with a library of pre-built territories like ZIP codes and counties. For routing, you select pins, optimize routes and stop assignments, get driving directions, schedule appointments and match routes to the nearest driver.

Mapline also lists calendars, automated workflows, forms, e-signatures, email and texting, charts, dashboards and an API. The page states no limits on locations, routes or stops, and its pricing page shows no prices, so budgeting means requesting a quote. The 7-day free trial is cited for the Geo BI, Geo Routing and Geo Scheduling offerings.

That feature list suits a janitorial or commercial cleaning company with dozens of recurring sites and several crews. It does not describe cleaning-specific quoting or invoicing, so as with Maptive, expect to pair it with another system for the paperwork.

Best for: Commercial cleaning companies with many service sites that want routes, territories and appointments built from spreadsheets.

Pros

  • Routing, territories and scheduling in one mapping product
  • Heat maps, radius circles and drive-time areas
  • ZIP-code and county territory library
  • API and connectors for custom setups

Cons

  • No prices shown, so you must contact sales
  • Built around spreadsheets, not a cleaning customer database
  • No cleaning-specific quoting or invoicing described
  • Likely more tool than a small residential company needs

Verdict: A capable mapping and routing platform for operators with many sites. Ask for pricing early, because it isn’t published.

7

Badger Maps — Best for Cleaning Sales Reps Chasing New Accounts

Personal free to start · Business $58/user/mo annual ($69 monthly) · Enterprise $95/user/mo annual ($109 monthly)

Badger Maps is route-planning and mapping software for outside sales. Its cleaning-services page says you can upload a spreadsheet to see all your customers on a map, show only a subset in color, get the most efficient route to new leads, and navigate with Waze, Google Maps or Apple Maps. The page is generic field-sales marketing and describes no cleaning-specific features.

On the pricing page, Personal includes route optimization for up to 120 stops. Business adds two-way CRM integration, lead generation and AI route planning. Enterprise is $95 per user per month billed annually, and Enterprise Plus is custom-priced and adds heat, bubble and thematic maps. A free trial is offered, though the pages we reviewed gave different trial lengths, so confirm before you sign up. Cost scales by seat: five reps on Business come to $290 a month billed annually.

Badger fits the part of cleaning where someone walks into offices, medical suites or apartment buildings to bid new accounts. It doesn’t handle your crew calendar, quotes or invoices.

Best for: Commercial cleaning companies with a sales rep or owner who spends the week visiting prospects.

Pros

  • Spreadsheet upload plots all customers and leads
  • Route planning up to 120 stops on the Personal plan
  • Navigation hand-off to Waze, Google Maps and Apple Maps
  • Business plan adds CRM integration and lead generation

Cons

  • Field-sales tool, not a service scheduler
  • No quoting, invoicing or crew calendar
  • Per-user pricing
  • Heat and thematic maps require Enterprise Plus

Verdict: Excellent if selling is the bottleneck and you have a rep in the field. For running the cleaning work itself, you will need a second tool.

8

Workiz — Best for Teams That Mainly Need Technician Locations

Standard, Pro and Ultimate plans · Request pricing

Workiz is a field service platform, and the map documentation we reviewed covers team location tracking. Per Workiz’s help article (updated July 27, 2026), team members appear as pins with their initials. Tracking is limited to paid users, doesn’t include subcontractors, and only works while the mobile app is open. An admin has to turn on Map/GPS Tracking and then enable it for each technician.

The article does not say that jobs or customers appear on that map, so we scored Workiz as a team-location map rather than a customer map. For a cleaning owner, that is still useful: you can see whether the crew has arrived at the next house. It just won’t show you where your customers cluster.

Pricing: Workiz’s pricing page lists Standard, Pro and Ultimate plans with a “request pricing” button, so we can’t quote a verified price. Third-party price trackers publish figures, but we couldn’t confirm them with Workiz and chose not to print them. Get a quote in writing before you compare.

Best for: Cleaning companies that mainly want to see where their people are, not where their customers are.

Pros

  • Live team pins labeled with initials
  • Per-technician control over who is tracked
  • Part of a broader field service platform
  • Help documentation is clear about how tracking works

Cons

  • No documented map of customers or jobs
  • Works only while the app is open
  • Subcontractors aren’t tracked
  • Pricing is not published

Verdict: Good for crew visibility, thin for customer mapping. If your question is “where are my cleaners?” it helps. If your question is “where are my customers?” look higher on this list.

Compare QuoteIQ vs Workiz

9

Google My Maps — Best Free Starting Point

Free

Google My Maps isn’t business software, but it is the cheapest way to see your customers on a map today. You import a spreadsheet, choose the columns that hold addresses, and Google drops a pin for each row. You can then style pins by category and organize them in layers.

Google’s own import page sets the limits. It says not to import files with more than 2,000 rows. Unzipped KML or KMZ files can be up to 5 MB, other files up to 40 MB, and you can add up to 100 photos at a time. Those caps are generous for a small cleaning company and tight for a large one.

The bigger limit is that nothing updates itself. A pin doesn’t know when a customer cancels, moves or books a new job, and the map has no scheduling, quoting or invoicing behind it. A sensible way to use it: map your 50 best customers once, look for clusters, and decide whether a paid tool is worth it. Do not treat it as a system of record.

Best for: Solo cleaners and very small teams who want a free, one-time look at where their customers are.

Pros

  • Free
  • Works from the spreadsheet you already keep
  • Layers and category styling for basic analysis
  • Quick way to spot clusters before you spend money

Cons

  • Import capped at 2,000 rows
  • No live link to your customer list
  • No scheduling, quoting or invoicing
  • No route optimization described in the documentation we reviewed

Verdict: A fine experiment and a poor long-term system. Once you are updating pins by hand every week, a map that reads from your customer database pays for itself in time saved.

10

ServiceTitan — Best for Large, Multi-Crew Operations

Request pricing · Free demo, no trial

ServiceTitan is built for larger service companies with office staff to run it. Its public pages sell by demo rather than a trial and ask you to request pricing, which we understand to be quote-based and typically per technician. The page we reviewed lists a dispatch board and GPS tracking for technicians en route. We found no description of a map of all customers.

For a cleaning company with dozens of crews and dedicated dispatchers, the dispatch depth and reporting may justify a long onboarding. For a company with one to ten crews, our view is that the cost and setup time outweigh what a map adds. Request a demo if you are at that scale, and ask to see the customer-level map views specifically.

Best for: Large, multi-location cleaning operations with a dedicated office team.

Pros

  • Dispatch board built for large teams
  • GPS tracking for technicians en route
  • Demo-led onboarding for complex operations
  • Designed to scale beyond small-business tooling

Cons

  • Pricing isn’t published
  • No free trial
  • No customer map described in what we reviewed
  • More platform than a small crew will use

Verdict: The enterprise option. It ranks last here because the question is customer mapping for cleaners, and the documentation we reviewed doesn’t describe it.

Compare QuoteIQ vs ServiceTitan

The Cleaning Industry by the Numbers (2025–2026)

2,432,600U.S. jobs for janitors and building cleaners in 2025, not counting maids and housekeeping cleaners (BLS)
2%Projected employment growth for janitors and building cleaners, 2025 to 2035 (BLS)
$17.71Median hourly pay for janitors and building cleaners in May 2025, or $36,840 a year (BLS)
76¢IRS standard business mileage rate per mile, July 1 to December 31, 2026 (IRS)
45.9%Share of U.S. private-sector workers employed by small businesses (SBA Office of Advocacy)

The Bureau of Labor Statistics counts more than 2.4 million janitors and building cleaners, a workforce that has been growing slowly at 2% over the decade. Maids and housekeeping cleaners are counted separately, so the real number of people cleaning for a living is higher. For industry training and standards, trade associations such as ISSA, which says it has more than 11,000 members, are a good place to start. The SBA Office of Advocacy reports that small businesses overall employ 45.9% of U.S. private-sector workers. For a small cleaning company, labor and driving are two costs a map can help you control.

What avoidable driving costs, worked through. Take a two-person crew that wastes 12 miles and 30 minutes on an average workday because customers are scattered and jobs are sequenced badly. Over 250 workdays that is 3,000 miles. At the IRS rate of 76 cents, that is $2,280. The lost time is 125 hours per person; at the BLS median of $17.71 an hour for two people, that is $4,427.50. Together, about $6,700 a year. Two honest caveats: the IRS figure is a tax-deduction rate rather than your actual vehicle cost, and the BLS median describes janitors, not necessarily your own pay scale. Use your own numbers, but the shape of the math holds. A map that trims even a third of that waste saves roughly $2,200 a year, which is more than six times the annual cost of QuoteIQ Essentials ($29.99 a month, or $359.88 a year at monthly billing).

Which Customer Map Software Should You Pick? 7 Situations, 7 Picks

If you’re a solo cleaner just getting started

Start with QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99/mo. The customer map in Atlas is included on every plan, and you also get the quoting and invoicing workflow, so you aren’t paying for a map and a separate quote tool. If you want to spend nothing for the first month, plot your best customers in Google My Maps and see whether clusters appear. The 14-day QuoteIQ trial lets you compare the two approaches before you commit.

If you run a residential maid service with 2–5 cleaners

Choose between QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99/mo, 2 users) or Pro ($199.99/mo, 4 users) if you want the all-customers map alongside quoting and invoicing, and ZenMaid ($19–$49/mo plus per-user fees) if you want cleaning-only booking and are fine without an all-customers map. Jobber is a reasonable middle path if you value its scheduler. Ask each vendor to show you a customer who has nothing booked and see whether they appear on the map.

If you have 5–10 people and crews overlap the same neighborhoods

This is where routing earns its keep. QuoteIQ Elite ($299.99/mo, 10 users) adds Route Optimization, Route Density zones, live employee locations on the map and InstaSchedule online booking. Housecall Pro Essentials ($149/mo billed annually, up to five users) is a lower-cost way to get employee GPS tracking and routes on a schedule map, at the price of a map that shows scheduled work rather than every customer.

If you clean commercial buildings or run janitorial routes

If you have dozens of recurring sites, a spreadsheet-driven tool like Mapline or Maptive can sit on top of whatever you use for scheduling and give you territories and drive-time areas. If you would rather keep one account, QuoteIQ’s Atlas covers customer pins in the same place as your quotes, with routing on Elite and Max. Our house cleaning software page shows how QuoteIQ is set up for cleaning companies.

If you grow by walking into offices or knocking on doors

Badger Maps Business ($58 per user per month billed annually) is designed for exactly this: planning a day of prospect visits and logging them. QuoteIQ’s Atlas has a door-knocking mode with seven starter statuses, saved areas and a Lead Generator that is free to search, scores leads and charges only when you unlock a list. The difference is that Atlas sits beside your quotes and customers, while Badger is a dedicated sales tool.

If you do exterior cleaning such as windows, pressure washing or gutters

Measuring matters more than for interior work. QuoteIQ’s MapMeasure Pro and Property Street View, both included from Beginner ($99.99/mo) up, let you measure from satellite imagery and preview the property before you visit. Property lines show in Atlas as you zoom in. None of the other tools here describe satellite measuring in the documentation we reviewed.

If you run 20+ crews across several locations

Get demos of ServiceTitan and QuoteIQ Max ($699.99/mo, 20 users, extra users $25 each) side by side, and ask both to show a customer-level map. If heat maps and territory analysis are central to how you plan, add a Maptive Team plan ($2,500/yr, five users) on top.

How We Built This List, Step by Step

  1. Defined what counts as customer map software. We separated job maps, customer maps and territory maps, because a tool that plots today’s jobs is not the same as one that plots every customer you serve.

  2. Built the candidate list. We started with the field service platforms that market to cleaning companies and the stand-alone mapping tools that accept a customer list, then dropped tools whose public pages described no map at all.

  3. Read each vendor’s own documentation on October 13, 2026. We reviewed pricing pages and help-center articles on maps, and recorded which plan unlocks which feature when the vendor said so.

  4. Verified prices and flagged gaps. Where a vendor did not publish a price, we wrote “request pricing” and did not print third-party estimates as fact.

  5. Scored on five criteria and disclosed our position. We weighted customer map depth, cleaning-business fit, routing and density, price transparency, and setup effort, then placed QuoteIQ at #1 while stating plainly where it is weaker than others.

Built by Operators Who’ve Run Service Businesses

A customer map is only useful if the people who built it understand what a day on the road costs. Both QuoteIQ co-founders write about that tension on the QuoteIQ site, and their thinking shaped the criteria we used above.

Frequently Asked Questions

QuoteIQ is the best customer map software for most cleaning businesses in 2026. Its Atlas map shows customers and jobs as color-coded pins on a satellite map, on every plan from $29.99/mo, and it sits in the same app as quotes, scheduling and invoices. ZenMaid suits maid services that want cleaning-only software, and Maptive suits owners who need heat maps.

Customer map software plots your customers’ addresses on a map so you can see where they are, filter them and plan around them. Some tools only show today’s appointments (a job map), some show every customer (a customer map), and some add heat maps and territories. Cleaning businesses use them to build tighter routes, price new quotes and choose where to market.

Entry prices range from free (Google My Maps) to $1,250 a year (Maptive Pro). QuoteIQ starts at $29.99/mo, ZenMaid at $19/mo, Jobber Core at $29/mo billed annually and Housecall Pro Basic at $59/mo billed annually. Workiz, ServiceTitan and Mapline ask you to request pricing. Confirm current rates with each vendor before you buy.

Jobber’s help article describes a schedule map that shows the day’s tasks as pins, and only tasks linked to a client and property get a pin. In a community thread about mapping all customers, a Jobber staff reply pointed to the Route Optimization settings view instead of a dedicated customer map. Ask Jobber for a demo to confirm how it works today.

Yes. Housecall Pro’s Schedule tab has a Map View that shows jobs, estimates and events with an address as pins, colored by employee or area, with clustering and drive-time route lines in day view. It plots scheduled items rather than customers with nothing booked, and its help article doesn’t say which plans include it.

If you run only a residential maid service and want cleaning-specific software, ZenMaid is purpose-built and starts at $19/mo. If you also want an all-customers map, property data and quoting in the same account, QuoteIQ starts at $29.99/mo and serves 50+ trades. Ask both vendors to show you a customer with nothing booked on the map.

Google My Maps is free and lets you import up to 2,000 rows from a spreadsheet, but you update it by hand and it has no scheduling or invoicing. Badger Maps lists a free-to-start Personal plan with route optimization up to 120 stops. QuoteIQ offers a 14-day free trial on every plan, with plans from $29.99/mo.

Yes. Google My Maps, Maptive, Mapline and Badger Maps all plot customers from a spreadsheet. The catch is freshness, because the map is only as current as your last upload. QuoteIQ’s Atlas plots the customers and jobs already in your QuoteIQ account, so you aren’t building a separate map file.

A job map shows only the visits on the calendar, usually for one day. A customer map shows every customer whether or not a visit is booked. Job maps help you run today. Customer maps help you decide which quote to accept, where to market and how to shape routes. Jobber, Housecall Pro and ZenMaid document job maps, and QuoteIQ documents both.

Yes. Atlas’s Customers view (Map View) shows your customers and active jobs as color-coded pins on a satellite map, and map layers switch on and off. Atlas is available on every QuoteIQ plan. Routing and live employee locations inside Atlas require Elite ($299.99/mo) or Max ($699.99/mo).

Any plan. Atlas, including the customer map, is on all five plans starting at Essentials ($29.99/mo). MapMeasure Pro and Property Street View start at Beginner ($99.99/mo). Route Optimization, Route Density, live employee locations and InstaSchedule online booking need Elite ($299.99/mo) or Max ($699.99/mo). Annual billing gives you two months free.

A customer map shows how your jobs cluster, so you can group visits by area and reprice or decline outliers. Driving has a real price: the IRS business rate is 76 cents a mile from July 1 to December 31, 2026, and a cleaner who loses 30 minutes a day loses about 125 hours over 250 workdays. Routing tools then sequence the stops.

Several tools can. QuoteIQ shows employees on the Atlas map while they are clocked in, on Elite and Max. Housecall Pro adds employee GPS tracking from its Essentials plan. Workiz shows team pins with initials, but only for paid users and only while the app is open. ZenMaid’s dispatch view shows cleaner location.

Some can. QuoteIQ’s Atlas has a Lead Generator that is free to search and charges to unlock a list, plus a door-knocking mode with seven starter statuses. Badger Maps Business adds lead generation for sales reps. Check current unlock prices in the app, and follow the rules that apply when you contact people you find.

In our view, usually not for a company with one to five crews. Maptive Pro costs $1,250 a year for one user and doesn’t schedule, quote or invoice. It makes sense if you already run your schedule elsewhere and need heat maps, territories or drive-time areas. Most small cleaning companies get more from a map inside their scheduling tool.

The usual cause is an address the software can’t locate. Jobber, for example, shows a red pin for an address it can’t find and lets you correct it under Properties with Adjust Map Location. In spreadsheet tools, check that address columns are complete and consistent before you import. Clean addresses in your customer records are the foundation of any map.

The Bottom Line

For most cleaning businesses in 2026, QuoteIQ is the best customer map software on this list. It is the only tool whose documentation describes an all-customers map together with the quoting, scheduling and invoicing behind it, the map is included on every plan starting at $29.99/mo, and Atlas plots the customers and jobs already in your account instead of a file you must keep refreshing. The honest limits are plain: routing, live employee locations and route density need Elite or Max, lead and property-owner data are paid unlocks, and heat maps aren’t among Atlas’s documented features.

The rest of the field has real strengths. ZenMaid is built only for maid services. Jobber and Housecall Pro run the day well from a schedule map. Maptive, Mapline and Badger Maps go deeper on heat maps, territories and field sales. Google My Maps is a free place to start. ServiceTitan and Workiz make sense for specific situations. The right choice depends on whether your real problem is running the day, finding the next customer or understanding where your business is concentrated.

Whichever you choose, run one test before you commit: ask the vendor to show you a customer with nothing booked on the map. If they appear, you have a customer map. If they don’t, you have a job map, which is still useful but answers a different question. The 14-day QuoteIQ trial lets you run that test on your own customer list.
