AI Estimator is QuoteIQ’s photo-to-quote tool. It analyzes property photos or a job description, asks targeted follow-up questions, and generates a market-accurate, line-itemized estimate in about 4 to 7 minutes — instead of the 20 to 34 minutes manual quoting takes. You review and adjust everything before it goes to the customer.

What AI Estimator does

AI Estimator removes the slowest part of winning a job: building the quote. Instead of pricing line by line from memory, you give the AI a photo or a short description and it returns a complete estimate you can review, adjust, and send. It is built for the field — quote from the driveway, the truck, or the office.

How to create an estimate with AI Estimator

Open AI Estimator. Start a new estimate and open AI Estimator from the estimate creation screen.
Add photos or describe the job. Upload property photos or type a short description of what you are quoting.
Answer the follow-up questions. AI Estimator asks targeted questions specific to the job type — answer them so the estimate matches the real scope.
Review the generated estimate. Check the market-accurate, line-itemized estimate the AI produces for your local area.
Adjust and add upsells. Edit any line items and add the recommended add-ons where they make sense.
Generate a Before/After image. Optionally create an AI Before/After preview image and attach it for visual selling.
Send to the customer. Send the finished estimate for review, e-signature, and acceptance.

AI Estimator vs. AI CoPilot vs. AI Autopilot

How AI Estimator works with measurement and images

AI Estimator is strongest when it is fed accurate inputs and paired with visual proof:

MapMeasure Pro → AI Estimator. Measure the property first in MapMeasure Pro and the measured square footage and linear footage feed the estimate, giving the AI accurate surface sizes to price from.
AI Estimator → Before/After image. During the flow you can generate an AI Before/After image from the real property photo and attach it to the estimate to raise acceptance rates.

IQ Credits and cost

AI Estimator runs on IQ Credits, the usage-based units included with every plan. Before any AI action runs, QuoteIQ shows the IQ Credit cost so you confirm before spending — no surprise draws. Every plan resets its IQ Credit balance each billing cycle.

Input method. Start from uploaded property photos or a typed job description.
Follow-up answers. Your answers to the targeted questions shape the scope and the line items.
Line-item editing. Add, remove, or adjust any service line and its pricing before sending.
Upsells. Accept or skip the recommended add-ons the AI suggests.
Before/After image. Generate and attach an AI preview image, or regenerate it if you want a different result.
IQ Credit cost preview. Review the credit cost of each AI action and confirm before it runs.
