Commercial refrigeration work comes from restaurants, grocers, cold-storage operators and the property managers behind them. We compared 10 tools on how well they find those accounts, capture the calls that already come in, and turn both into recurring service work.
The best lead generation software for commercial refrigeration businesses in 2026 is QuoteIQ. Its Atlas map lets you search a ZIP code for restaurants, hotels, schools and warehouses for free, shows the exact count, and charges only to unlock the businesses you pick, with no lead subscription. The same plan runs your quotes, scheduling and invoices, so a prospect becomes a customer without re-keying anything. ServiceTitan is the stronger pick for large commercial operations, Data Axle Genie and Apollo.io suit pure list-building, and ConstructConnect fits contractors who bid on new construction.
| Rank | Platform | Starting Price | Best For | Standout Feature |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | QuoteIQ | $29.99/mo (Atlas search free; unlocks from $0.25 each) | Owner-operators through 20-person refrigeration shops | Atlas lead finder and door knocking inside the CRM |
| #2 | ServiceTitan | Quote only | Large commercial refrigeration and mechanical contractors | Marketing Pro, call tracking, campaign Scorecard |
| #3 | Data Axle Genie | $99–$299/mo, 12-month contract (third-party report) | Call and mail lists by radius or ZIP code | 19.5M U.S. business records (reported) |
| #4 | Apollo.io | Free plan; $49–$79 per user/mo billed annually (third-party) | Email and phone outreach to facility managers | Contact credits and email sequences |
| #5 | SPOTIO | Quote only | Teams with dedicated outside sales reps | Territory maps, route planning, activity tracking |
| #6 | ConstructConnect | Quote only | Contractors bidding on new construction | 1M+ public and private projects with bid tools |
| #7 | ZoomInfo | Quote only (reported median $31,875/yr) | National accounts and large sales teams | Deep company and contact data |
| #8 | Jobber | $29/mo billed annually ($49 monthly) | Small teams that want simple intake and follow-up | Request forms, online booking, quote follow-ups |
| #9 | Housecall Pro | $59/mo billed annually ($79 monthly) | Small crews that want booking and reviews | Online booking and review management on every plan |
| #10 | Pipedrive | $14 per seat/mo billed annually | Sales-led shops tracking commercial deals | Visual deal pipeline, lead scoring on higher tiers |
Vendor prices were checked on October 11, 2026. “Quote only” means the vendor does not publish a price. “Third-party” and “reported” figures come from dated outside sources named in each entry, and several of those publishers sell competing products. Prices change often, so confirm with the vendor before you buy.
A commercial refrigeration contractor does not sell to the public. The customers are restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, cold-storage operators, food processors and the property managers behind them, and the work arrives four ways: emergency calls when a walk-in cooler fails, preventive maintenance agreements, replacement and retrofit projects, and new-construction build-outs. The universe is countable. FMI’s Supermarket Facts page lists 45,575 supermarkets in the United States for 2024, and USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service counts 931 refrigerated warehouses holding 3.99 billion cubic feet of gross capacity as of October 1, 2025.
Timing matters because the equipment is being re-decided. EPA’s revised HFC Technology Transitions rule was published in the Federal Register on May 26, 2026 and took effect July 27, 2026. According to a Beveridge & Diamond summary, it sets an interim global warming potential limit of 1,400 for retail food remote condensing units from July 27, 2026, a limit for supermarket systems starting January 1, 2027, and an interim limit of 700 for cold storage warehouses through January 1, 2032, when the original 150 or 300 limits resume. This is not legal advice; check EPA’s Technology Transitions page before you advise a customer. The sales point is simple: operators with aging systems are being pushed into retrofit-or-replace conversations, and the contractor who already has the account’s phone number gets the first call.
Software that claims to “generate leads” does one of three jobs, and mixing them up is the most common buying mistake. Finders (Atlas, Data Axle Genie, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, SPOTIO) build lists of businesses or people you have not talked to yet. Project finders (ConstructConnect) surface construction jobs that need a refrigeration subcontractor. Capture-and-convert tools (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Pipedrive and QuoteIQ’s CRM) catch the calls and web requests that already come in, track where they came from, and follow up. Every entry below is labeled with its style. A finder with no CRM leaves you with a spreadsheet; a CRM with no finder waits for the phone. QuoteIQ is the only tool on this list that pairs a pay-per-unlock business finder with a full field service CRM in one subscription.
One compliance note before you buy a list: business-to-business email is not exempt. The FTC’s CAN-SPAM compliance guide says the law “makes no exception for business-to-business email.” Messages need accurate sender information, a truthful subject line, an advertisement disclosure, a physical postal address and an opt-out you honor within 10 business days, with penalties of up to $53,088 per violating email. Phone and text outreach follow separate rules. This is general information, not legal advice.
We’re QuoteIQ. We made this list. We also picked our own platform as #1 — here’s exactly why, with the trade-offs each tool brings to the table. Five criteria drove every ranking decision:
Our sources are vendor pricing and product pages checked October 11, 2026, Capterra listings, and public data from BLS, USDA and the FTC. Where a vendor page showed no figures, we used a dated third-party snapshot and named its publisher. We did not hands-on test every tool; what we say about a competitor is a reading of its own documentation, and it can be out of date by the time you read it.
Not ranked: FieldEdge, Workiz and HubSpot. We did not verify their lead-generation features or pricing for this edition, so that is a coverage gap, not a verdict. Pay-per-lead homeowner marketplaces such as Angi and Thumbtack are left out because they sell residential leads, not commercial accounts.
Justin Rogers on the two mistakes he sees when contractors buy software:
“The second mistake is buying the cheapest option and discovering it doesn’t integrate with anything else.”
— Justin Rogers, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ
That is why this list treats a finder that cannot hand a lead to a quote, a schedule and an invoice as half a tool.
QuoteIQ is the only tool on this list that finds the account, quotes the work, schedules the crew and sends the invoice from one login. Its prospecting map, Atlas, launched in September 2026 and is included on every plan. Pick a business type, search a ZIP code or a shape you draw on the map, and Atlas shows how many matching businesses exist as locked gray pins before you spend anything. Unlock the ones you want and each lead gives you the business name, address, phone number and website, with contact details included at no extra charge.
For a refrigeration contractor the useful search is the one that wraps around your existing trucks. Each lead gets a Route Match Score built from its distance to your nearest customer, how many customers sit within two miles and how well its category fits, so the restaurant two blocks from a current maintenance account outranks one across the county. Unlocked leads stay yours permanently and export to CSV. From a lead’s detail view you can call, text, navigate, start an estimate or invoice, schedule a visit, or set a task or reminder, and nothing is sent automatically. Atlas also has a door-knocking layer with seven starter statuses, including Interested – Follow Up and Appointment Set, which you can rename and recolor. It suits walking a strip mall or a restaurant row with a phone in your hand.
Cost is the part most prospecting tools hide. Searching in Atlas is free, and unlocks are priced per business in tiers: $0.25 each for the first 100, $0.20 for 101–500, $0.15 for 501–2,000 and $0.12 beyond that, with a $25 minimum purchase. QuoteIQ’s own worked examples put 212 businesses at $50 and 500 at $110. Those rates come from QuoteIQ’s product documentation, and the live Atlas page does not show dollar figures, so confirm current rates in the app before you budget. Purchases are one-time and nothing recurs.
Coverage is the thing to check. Atlas offers 67 business types in 16 groups. The public page names restaurants, hotels, schools, warehouses and event venues; it does not name grocery stores, cold storage or food processing, so run a free search for your own targets and read the count before you commit. Once a lead answers, the rest of QuoteIQ takes over: estimates and invoices on every plan, Lead Sources to record which channel produced each contact, and QuickBooks Online sync and a Client Portal from Pro. QuoteIQ’s HVAC page even describes tracking refrigerant cylinder usage per job.
Best for: Owner-operators through 20-person commercial refrigeration shops that want prospecting, quoting, scheduling and invoicing in one subscription.
Pros
Cons
Mike Vidan on turning one-time service calls into recurring customers:
“Most contractors are waiting for the phone to ring.”
— Mike Vidan, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ
Verdict: For an owner-operator through a 20-person shop, QuoteIQ is the lowest-cost way to put prospecting, door knocking and the whole quote-to-invoice workflow in one place. If you need named contacts and email sequences at volume, pair it with Apollo.io, or look at ServiceTitan once you have an office team to run it.
ServiceTitan is the enterprise field service platform, and its navigation lists Refrigeration alongside Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Kitchen Equipment and Fire & Life Safety under commercial trades. Its lead tools are about capturing and measuring demand rather than finding new accounts. On its marketing page, Marketing Pro runs campaigns across email, direct mail, digital ads and online reputation management; trackable phone numbers tie each ad to the revenue from jobs it books; the Marketing Scorecard ranks campaigns by revenue; and a heat map shows which areas produce the most.
Scheduling Pro adds online scheduling, live voice and live chat so more of the inbound demand becomes a booked visit. The page does not describe a prospect database or list builder, and Refrigeration appears only as a trade in the menu, so we could not confirm refrigeration-specific lead tools. Treat ServiceTitan as the platform that tells you which spend produces service revenue, not the one that hands you a list of restaurants.
Best for: Commercial refrigeration and mechanical contractors with an office team, a marketing budget and 20 or more technicians.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: If you have an office team and a real marketing budget, ServiceTitan’s attribution is worth a demo. Below that scale, QuoteIQ’s Atlas and flat published plans cover more of the prospecting job for less.
Data Axle Genie, formerly Salesgenie, is a list builder. A SyncGTM review, published June 2, 2026 and updated September 30, 2026, puts it at 19.5 million U.S. business records refreshed weekly, with local search by radius, ZIP code and business size. For a refrigeration contractor that means pulling every restaurant, grocer and convenience store within a set radius of your shop into a call or mailing list. SyncGTM sells a competing product, so weigh its criticism accordingly.
The same review lists Basic at $99/mo (1 user, capped lead pulls), Individual at $149/mo (unlimited list building), Pro at $149/mo (CRM integration and a larger monthly quota) and Team at $299/mo (multiple users and API access). It reports 300 demographic and 400 firmographic filters, verified-email records that cost double credits, and an Enterprise tier with setup fees of $150–$800. The review did not mention SIC or NAICS filtering, which is how you would isolate restaurants and grocers, so ask about it on a demo.
Best for: Contractors who want mailing or call lists of local businesses and can commit to a year.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Worth a look if you want call and mail lists and are comfortable committing for a year. If you would rather pay per unlock with no contract, Atlas is the closest like-for-like in this list, with the caveat that it returns business-level records only.
Apollo.io is a B2B contact database with built-in email sequencing. Its pricing page describes Free, Basic, Professional and Custom plans but shows no dollar figures. Basic includes email sequencing, Professional adds higher credit limits, AI features, call recording and advanced CRM integrations, and credits for emails and phone numbers are pooled across the team and reset each billing cycle with no rollover. Docket’s April 2026 snapshot lists Basic at $49 and Professional at $79 per user per month on annual billing ($60 and $94 billed monthly), and describes the Free plan as 1,200 email credits a year with small monthly phone and export allowances.
Apollo’s strength is named people: facility managers, operations directors, regional maintenance leads and property managers. Databases like this are typically strongest for multi-location companies with corporate staff and thinner for independent single-location restaurants, so test coverage on the free plan before you pay.
Best for: Contractors chasing multi-location restaurant groups, grocery chains and property managers by email and phone.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A strong second tool for contractors going after multi-location accounts by name. Pair it with a CRM that can quote and schedule the work once someone replies.
SPOTIO is a field sales app built for door-to-door and territory teams. Its pricing page lists B2B, B2C and Custom plans with territory mapping, custom activity tracking, leaderboards, performance analytics and DASH AI. The B2B plan adds route planning and optimization, Google Places B2B integration and location verification. Lead lists come from a Lead Machine add-on, calling and texting from an Engagement Bundle add-on, and e-contracts from another add-on; add-on prices are not listed.
Every plan includes a dedicated implementation manager and a dedicated customer success manager, and qualified prospects can run a pilot instead of a free trial. The page is inconsistent on team size: the FAQ says SPOTIO is designed for teams of 5 or more field sales professionals, while support benefits are described for 25 licenses or more. A refrigeration contractor with one or two people selling is below what the product is built for.
Best for: Refrigeration companies with a dedicated outside sales team canvassing restaurant rows, shopping centers and industrial parks.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Worth a demo if you have five or more people selling in the field. For a smaller team, Atlas door knocking covers the same basics inside the CRM you already pay for.
ConstructConnect is project intelligence for contractors who bid on new construction and major renovations. Its Capterra listing, last updated September 29, 2026, describes access to “over 1 million public and private projects in 400+ markets,” real-time alerts on new and updated projects, project details that include bidders, plans, documents and contacts, bid management and digital takeoff.
For refrigeration the relevant jobs are new supermarkets, restaurant build-outs, cold-storage facilities and food-processing plants where a general contractor needs a refrigeration subcontractor. We could not confirm refrigeration-specific filters or trade categories on the pages we read, so ask a rep to show you how it filters for your scope. This is bid-driven work; it does not help with the emergency calls and maintenance agreements that keep most service shops busy.
Best for: Contractors that win installation and build-out work by bidding to general contractors.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A fit if installations and build-outs are a big share of your revenue. For service and maintenance growth, a prospect finder and CRM will do more.
ZoomInfo is the largest of the B2B contact-intelligence platforms and does not publish prices. A Pin article, published March 1, 2026 and last modified June 3, 2026, reports a median contract of $31,875 a year across 1,313 purchases, citing Vendr. It lists Professional at about $14,995 a year for 3 seats, Advanced at $24,995–$30,000 and Elite at $39,995 and up, with extra seats at $1,500–$2,500 a year. Pin sells a competing recruiting product, so treat these as estimates and get a written quote.
The same article reports annual contracts only, a three-seat minimum, auto-renewal with a 60–90 day cancellation window, renewal increases of 10–40%, and add-ons such as intent data at $5,000–$15,000 a year. A national refrigeration service company chasing regional grocery chains and food distributors can justify that. A 10-truck shop cannot.
Best for: National or multi-state refrigeration service companies with a dedicated sales team.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Only worth the money when named contacts at national chains are the plan. For most refrigeration shops the price points to a much larger business.
Jobber is a general home-service CRM. Its pricing page, last modified September 23, 2026, lists Core, Connect and Grow for one user and Plus for five, with extra users at $29 a month and a 14-day trial. Online booking is listed on every plan, automated quote and invoice follow-ups start at Connect, two-way texting at Grow and Plus, and a custom automation builder at Grow and Plus. The follow-up tools are useful for any quote, residential or commercial.
The lead-specific tools are where the cost climbs. Campaigns (its Marketing Suite) are included on Plus and a $99/mo add-on elsewhere, the AI Receptionist is included on Plus and a $29/mo add-on elsewhere, and Pipeline for lead tracking is included on Plus and a $49/mo add-on elsewhere. None of this finds a restaurant that does not already know you, and Jobber has no prospect database.
Best for: Small refrigeration teams that mainly need clean request forms, online booking and quote follow-up.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A good pick for a small team that wants intake and follow-up handled cleanly and will find its own prospects. If you want the finder in the same subscription, QuoteIQ covers more.
Housecall Pro is a home-service platform with flat tiers. Its pricing page lists Basic for one user, Essentials for five and Max for eight, with extra Max users at $35 a month and a 14-day trial. Online booking and review management appear on every plan. The sales proposal tool and recurring service plans appear only on Max at $299 a month billed annually, and recurring plans matter if preventive maintenance agreements are your goal.
The page mentions a pipeline, marketing campaigns and call tracking but does not say which plan includes them, and it says AI team members come with every plan without listing what they do. For lead generation, Housecall Pro is a capture-and-review tool, not a finder: it will help you answer, book and collect reviews from the customers who find you.
Best for: Small crews that want straightforward online booking and review requests at a flat price.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A fine choice for a small crew that wants booking and reviews handled for them. You will still need a way to find new accounts, and the maintenance-agreement tools cost the most.
Pipedrive is a sales CRM, not field service software. Its pricing page lists US$14, US$39, US$59 and US$79 per seat per month on annual billing, with a 14-day trial. Lite covers lead management and pipeline tools. Growth adds email sync with open and click tracking, automations and a meeting scheduler. Premium adds LeadBooster lead generation and routing, custom lead scoring with company data enrichment, and contracts with e-signatures. Ultimate adds security controls and phone and email data enrichment.
The same page also shows LeadBooster and Smart Docs as add-ons from $32.50 a month, so confirm which applies to your plan before you buy. Pipedrive suits a refrigeration company whose growth depends on commercial deals and bids with a salesperson owning each one. It has no scheduling, dispatch or job invoicing, so you would run it alongside a field service tool.
Best for: Refrigeration companies with a dedicated salesperson tracking long commercial deals.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A solid deal tracker for a sales-led commercial shop. Most refrigeration contractors will get more from a CRM that also schedules and invoices the work.
Employers in plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contracting account for 68 percent of the refrigeration, heating and air conditioning mechanic and installer jobs counted by BLS. Nearly all technicians also hold EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling.
Pick QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99/mo. Atlas is included, searching is free, and the first 100 businesses you unlock cost $0.25 each with a $25 minimum purchase. Spend one morning a week knocking doors on a restaurant row and logging each visit as a pin. The 14-day trial lets you confirm the fit first. Jobber Core ($29/mo billed annually) is the simpler alternative if you already have your own list.
QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99/mo, 2 users) or Pro ($199.99/mo, 4 users). Pro adds Email & Text Automation, ClientHub calling and texting, a Client Portal, Job Costing and QuickBooks Online sync, which turn an unlocked lead into a followed-up customer. If you only want booking and reviews, Housecall Pro Essentials ($149/mo billed annually, 5 users) is the comparison.
QuoteIQ Pro with a few extra users ($25 each), or Elite ($299.99/mo, 10 users). Elite adds Pipelines for tracking commercial deals (up to 5), InstaSchedule for customer self-booking, Route Optimization and Atlas Routing. Add Apollo.io if you are chasing multi-location accounts by name.
QuoteIQ Elite or Max ($699.99/mo, 20 users, unlimited pipelines, crew scheduling and a Sales Team Tracker). Elite also brings Mass Text & Email Campaigns for your customer list. If an outside salesperson owns new-account growth, price SPOTIO next to Atlas door knocking before you commit.
ServiceTitan or QuoteIQ Max. ServiceTitan offers Marketing Pro, trackable phone numbers and a campaign Scorecard, with pricing by quote. QuoteIQ Max is $699.99/mo with 20 users and flat published pricing. Get demos of both and ask each how it reports the source of every service contract.
ConstructConnect is built for project-based bidding, with alerts on new and updated projects and bid management. Run it next to a CRM that quotes, schedules and invoices the work once you win it, such as QuoteIQ. Ask ConstructConnect how it filters for refrigeration scopes before you sign.
QuoteIQ Essentials or Jobber Core. Keep lead generation to one habit: search your service area in Atlas, unlock 100 nearby businesses, and call or visit five a day. Skip the sequences and sales dashboards until the habit sticks.
Defined what lead generation means for a commercial refrigeration contractor. We split the job into three styles: tools that find businesses, tools that find construction projects, and tools that capture and convert the demand that already arrives. A tool had to do at least one of them well for a refrigeration buyer.
Chose ten tools across those styles and disclosed what we left out. The list covers list builders, field sales, project leads, field service CRMs and a sales CRM. FieldEdge, Workiz, HubSpot and homeowner lead marketplaces are not ranked, and the methodology says why.
Verified pricing against vendor pages on October 11, 2026. Where a vendor page showed no figures or no prices, we used a dated third-party snapshot and named the publisher, and flagged publishers that sell competing products. Quote-only vendors are marked quote only.
Matched each tool’s published features to nine buyer questions. Can it find restaurants, grocers and cold storage, show a count before you pay, give named contacts, support door knocking, capture inbound calls, record lead sources, automate follow-up, quote and invoice the work, and run on a phone?
Added operator perspective and checked the public data. Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers, both Co-Founders of QuoteIQ, supplied quotes from their published insights pages. Trade and regulatory facts come from BLS, USDA, EPA-related and FTC sources linked in this article.
“QuoteIQ improved my marketing ROI significantly.”
“Since I have been using QuoteIQ it has helped me grow my business I love it thank you guys so much”
“I had a clean professional site up in less than an hour.”
These are verbatim 5-star reviews from our review database. None of the reviewers is tagged to commercial refrigeration, and all three were written before Atlas launched in September 2026, so they describe QuoteIQ in general rather than the lead generator.

Read Justin’s insights →QuoteIQ is the best lead generation software for most commercial refrigeration businesses in 2026. Its Atlas map searches a ZIP code or drawn area for local businesses for free, shows the exact count, and charges only to unlock the ones you pick, and the same subscription runs quotes, scheduling and invoices. ServiceTitan is the stronger choice for large commercial operations with an office team, and ConstructConnect fits contractors who win work by bidding on new construction. Check that your target business types appear in Atlas’s picker before you buy.
Prices run from $14 per seat a month for Pipedrive’s Lite plan to a reported median of about $31,875 a year for ZoomInfo. QuoteIQ starts at $29.99 a month with Atlas included, plus a per-business unlock fee that starts at $0.25 each. Jobber starts at $29 a month billed annually, Housecall Pro at $59, and Apollo.io’s paid plans at a reported $49 per user a month on annual billing. ServiceTitan, SPOTIO and ConstructConnect do not publish prices. We checked prices on October 11, 2026, and they change often.
Full-featured free tools are rare. Apollo.io has a free plan, which Docket’s April 2026 snapshot describes as 1,200 email credits a year with small monthly phone and export allowances. QuoteIQ has no free plan, but every plan includes a 14-day free trial, and searching in Atlas is free; you pay only to unlock the businesses you choose. Pipedrive and Housecall Pro also offer 14-day trials. Free tools usually cap contacts, so test whether the allowance covers your service area.
QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99 a month is the best fit for a solo operator because Atlas is included and you pay per unlock instead of a lead subscription: the first 100 businesses cost $0.25 each, with a $25 minimum purchase. The plan also covers estimates, invoices, scheduling and online payments for one user. Jobber Core, at $29 a month billed annually, is a simple alternative for intake and follow-up, but it has no prospect finder. Confirm current Atlas rates in the app.
QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99 a month, 2 users) or Pro ($199.99, 4 users) covers most teams of two to five. Pro adds Email & Text Automation, ClientHub calling and texting, a Client Portal, Job Costing and QuickBooks Online sync, which turn a found lead into a followed-up customer. Housecall Pro Essentials ($149 a month billed annually, 5 users) is a credible alternative if online booking and reviews matter most, though its sales proposal tool sits on the Max plan.
ServiceTitan and QuoteIQ Max are the two main contenders. ServiceTitan offers Marketing Pro, trackable phone numbers, a campaign Scorecard and Refrigeration among its commercial trades, with pricing by quote only. QuoteIQ Max ($699.99 a month, 20 users, extra users $25) adds unlimited pipelines, crew scheduling and a Sales Team Tracker on top of Atlas. SPOTIO suits a dedicated outside sales team of five or more. Request demos of ServiceTitan and QuoteIQ before deciding.
Yes. QuoteIQ has iOS and Android apps with a 4.7-star rating across 4,103+ reviews on App Store, Google Play and Google, and Atlas runs on phones, tablets and the web. SPOTIO’s B2C plan lists offline access to a rep’s day. Jobber and Housecall Pro also publish mobile apps. We did not test any competitor’s app, so check that each one can finish the specific task you need from a truck before you buy.
QuoteIQ’s Website Contact Forms (Pro and above) send inquiries straight into the CRM, and InstaSchedule (Elite and Max) lets customers book open slots around the clock based on your real-time availability. Jobber offers custom request forms and online booking, and Housecall Pro lists online booking on every plan. Emergencies still arrive by phone, so QuoteIQ’s Virtual Call Team can answer calls with AI at 125 IQ Credits a minute. Decide which requests you want booked automatically; a failed walk-in cooler rarely is one.
QuoteIQ does, on every plan, with Standard, Quick, Options and Package estimate types, and from Beginner it adds MapMeasure Pro for measuring properties from satellite imagery. From Pro, QuickBooks Online sync keeps the books current. Jobber and Housecall Pro also build quotes; Housecall Pro’s sales proposal tool is on its Max plan. Data Axle Genie, Apollo.io and ZoomInfo find leads but are not estimating tools, and ConstructConnect adds digital takeoff for bids.
QuoteIQ’s calendar handles scheduling on every plan, with Route Optimization and Route Density Zones on Elite and Max for ordering a day’s stops, and Atlas Routing doing the same on the map. ServiceTitan is built for large crews and offers Scheduling Pro for online scheduling, live voice and live chat. Housecall Pro and Jobber cover simple scheduling for small crews. For emergency work, test how fast each tool lets a dispatcher reassign a call.
QuoteIQ includes invoicing and online payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay on every plan, plus invoice subscriptions for recurring service plans and QuickPay payment links. Recurring invoices suit monthly or quarterly maintenance agreements. Jobber and Housecall Pro offer similar invoicing, though Housecall Pro’s recurring service plans sit on its Max plan. For a payment-heavy business, compare processing fees with each vendor, because we did not.
Yes. QuoteIQ’s Atlas shows leads, customers and door knocks on one map, and its Routing view (Elite and Max) puts a day’s jobs in the best driving order; Route Optimization and Route Density Zones in the calendar also start at Elite. SPOTIO’s B2B plan includes route planning and optimization for outside sales reps. Both are aimed at planning visits, so check how each handles a same-day emergency that reshuffles the route.
Export your client list and open quotes from Jobber, usually as a CSV file, import them into the new tool, run both for a week, then cut over. QuoteIQ includes Mass Import Contacts on every plan. Before you cancel Jobber, check whether you rely on its paid add-ons, such as Campaigns, the AI Receptionist or Pipeline, because your lead tracking may live there. QuoteIQ’s comparison page lays out pricing side by side.
QuoteIQ is the best Housecall Pro alternative for most commercial refrigeration businesses: Essentials is $29.99 a month against Housecall Pro Basic at $59 billed annually ($79 monthly), and Atlas adds a prospect finder that Housecall Pro does not list on its pricing page. Housecall Pro’s recurring service plans and sales proposal tool sit on its $299-a-month Max plan, while QuoteIQ includes invoice subscriptions on every plan. Jobber and ServiceTitan are other alternatives.
QuoteIQ is the most direct cheaper alternative: Max is $699.99 a month with 20 users, and extra users cost $25 each. ServiceTitan does not publish prices, so a true comparison needs a quote. ServiceTitan offers deeper marketing attribution through Marketing Pro, trackable numbers and its Scorecard; QuoteIQ offers a prospect finder, door knocking and flat published plans. Get ServiceTitan’s quote in writing before you decide.
Yes. The FTC’s CAN-SPAM guide says the law “makes no exception for business-to-business email.” Messages need accurate sender information, a truthful subject line, an advertisement disclosure, your physical postal address and an opt-out you honor within 10 business days. Penalties reach $53,088 per violating email. Phone and text outreach follow separate rules. This is general information, not legal advice; ask counsel before launching a campaign.
Trusted by 40,000+ contractors · 4.7★ average rating · 4,103+ reviews on App Store, Google Play and Google
For most commercial refrigeration businesses in 2026, QuoteIQ is the right place to start. Atlas lets you search your service area for free, see the count before you spend, and unlock only the restaurants, hotels, schools and warehouses worth calling, and the same subscription quotes, schedules and invoices the work you win. Plans run from $29.99/mo to $699.99/mo, with a 14-day trial on every plan. Check that your own targets appear in Atlas’s business-type picker, and confirm current unlock rates in the app, before you plan around it.
The runners-up earn their places. ServiceTitan is the platform to price once you have an office team and a marketing budget. Data Axle Genie and Apollo.io are the better pure list-building and outreach tools, and ConstructConnect is built for bid-driven installation work. Jobber, Housecall Pro and Pipedrive handle capture and follow-up but do not find new accounts. Whichever you choose, record the source of every service contract so you can see which channel pays.
Commercial refrigeration is being reshuffled by refrigerant rules, aging equipment and a steady stream of new stores and warehouses. The contractors who win will be the ones who already know the owner, the phone number and the equipment before the cooler fails. QuoteIQ is built for that kind of operator, and the trial costs nothing to test.
