Every contractor CRM now says “AI-powered.” We checked which ones let ChatGPT work inside your customer, quote and invoice records, what it is allowed to change, and what you pay, as of October 10, 2026.
The best CRM with ChatGPT integration for contractors in 2026 is QuoteIQ. Its MCP connector is included on every plan from $29.99 a month and lets ChatGPT or Claude read and update contacts, estimates, invoices, schedules, tasks, expenses and inventory. Writes wait for your approval, and sending an invoice or taking a payment asks again. Jobber has the simplest published ChatGPT connection but cannot create jobs or invoices through it, and JobTread is the pick for builders and remodelers. ServiceTitan has only announced an MCP server, and Housecall Pro and Workiz have no ChatGPT connector we could find.
| Rank | Platform | Starting Price | Best For | Standout Feature |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | QuoteIQ | $29.99/mo | Solo operators through 20-user crews | MCP connector on every plan, with write approvals |
| #2 | Jobber | $29/mo (annual) | General service crews that mostly read data and draft quotes | Published Claude and ChatGPT connection on every plan |
| #3 | JobTread | $199/mo (1 user) | Builders, remodelers, specialty contractors | Listed ChatGPT connector at no extra cost |
| #4 | HubSpot | Free CRM (2 users); paid per seat | Contractors with long, marketing-led sales cycles | Official ChatGPT connector on all plans |
| #5 | Pipedrive | $14/seat/mo (annual) | Pipeline-first, sales-led contractors | Official MCP server; manual ChatGPT setup |
| #6 | ServiceTitan | Custom — contact sales | Large field service operations | MCP server announced at Pantheon 2026 |
| #7 | Zoho CRM | Free (3 users); paid per user | Tech-comfortable teams with an admin | Four official MCP servers, read-only to full edit |
| #8 | Housecall Pro | $59/mo (annual) | Residential crews that want built-in AI staff | AI Team; no ChatGPT connector found |
| #9 | Salesforce | $25/user/mo (Starter Suite) | Enterprise teams already on Salesforce | ChatGPT app in beta; Enterprise edition and up |
| #10 | Workiz | Custom — request pricing | Phone-heavy crews | Genius AI suite; no public MCP server |
Pricing was read from each vendor’s published page on October 10, 2026. Vendors change prices and connector terms often, so confirm on the vendor’s site before you buy.
We’re QuoteIQ. We made this list. We also picked our own platform as #1, and this section shows exactly why, including where competitors beat us. “ChatGPT integration” is a loose phrase, so we defined it first (see the next section), then scored each tool on five criteria:
Rankings blend those criteria with judgment. A connector you can switch on today ranks above one that is only announced (ServiceTitan) or documented only for enterprise editions (Salesforce), and a tool with its own AI but no connector (Housecall Pro, Workiz) ranks last. We read vendor help articles, pricing pages, press releases and OpenAI’s developer-mode documentation on October 10, 2026. We did not test competitors hands-on. Every competitor claim below comes from the vendor’s own pages or from public reviews, and we say which. Prices are published list prices, not negotiated quotes, and where two pages from the same vendor disagreed we show the disagreement instead of picking one. Unknowns are written as unknowns, and prices change often, so confirm before you buy.
“Most contractors who buy software never turn the automation on.”
— Justin Rogers, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is described by its own documentation as “an open-source standard for connecting AI applications to external systems.” In practice, a CRM that supports it hands ChatGPT a set of tools: look up a client, draft a quote, list tomorrow’s jobs. We sorted every vendor into one of three styles:
One limit applies to every style B setup. OpenAI’s developer mode help article says full MCP connectors with write actions are limited to Business and Enterprise/Edu workspaces, that Pro accounts can connect MCP servers with read and fetch permissions only, and that it works in ChatGPT on the web, not mobile. Check your own plan first. Claude is the alternative where ChatGPT access is limited.
We also reviewed FieldPulse, Service Fusion, FieldEdge, JobNimbus, Buildertrend and Houzz Pro. None had a ChatGPT connector or MCP server we could verify as available on October 10, 2026, so none made this list. Housecall Pro and Workiz are included as context picks because most contractors shortlist them, and their entries say plainly that we found no connector.
QuoteIQ is our platform, so weigh this entry accordingly. The QuoteIQ MCP connector lets ChatGPT or Claude work inside your real account: look up a customer, draft an estimate, list this week’s jobs, log an expense, check inventory. It is included on every plan, from Essentials at $29.99 a month up to Max at $699.99, and it was built for contractors rather than adapted from a sales CRM.
Setup takes about two minutes. In QuoteIQ, open Settings → Automation → AI Assistant (MCP) and copy the connector URL, which contains no API key. In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode, add a custom connector and sign in with OAuth. In Claude, add it under Customize → Connectors. Only the account owner can connect. Reads need no approval. Writes wait in a “Needs your approval” queue by default, and if you turn that off, ChatGPT asks for confirmation in the chat with a ten-minute window. Sending an estimate, invoice, email or text, or taking a payment, asks for confirmation each time. Changes can be undone where the feature supports it, and deletes are not available through the connector.
The connector is one of three AI layers. AI AutoPilot runs commands inside the QuoteIQ app itself, AI CoPilot assists inside estimates and invoices, and the AI Estimator turns a job description into a priced estimate on every plan. You get value from QuoteIQ’s AI even if you never open ChatGPT.
Here is what that looks like day to day. Ask for this week’s unpaid invoices and who is overdue. Ask it to draft an estimate for a returning customer and leave it waiting for your approval. Ask what is on the schedule Thursday, to log a fuel expense, or which inventory items are running low. You word the request however you like. The connector covers contacts, estimates, invoices, schedules, tasks, expenses and inventory, and anything that changes data follows the approval rules above.
Every plan includes the connector, so the plan you choose depends on the rest of the business, not on AI access. Essentials is $29.99 a month, Beginner $99.99, Pro $199.99, Elite $299.99 and Max $699.99. Annual billing is ten times the monthly price, which works out to $299.99, $999.99, $1,999.99, $2,999.99 and $6,999.99 a year. Pro and above add Client Hub conversations to what the connector can reach. New subscribers get a 14-day trial on any plan, limited to one trial per person.
Best for: contractors from solo operators to 20-user crews who want one app for quotes, scheduling and invoices, with ChatGPT as an optional way to run it.
Pros
Cons
“A system that only exists in the owner’s head isn’t a system — it’s a dependency.”
— Mike Vidan, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ
Verdict: If you want ChatGPT to do real work in a contractor CRM without paying extra for it, start here. Essentials ($29.99, 1 user) suits solo operators, Beginner ($99.99, 2 users) and Pro ($199.99, 4 users) suit small crews, and Elite ($299.99, 10 users) and Max ($699.99, 20 users) suit larger teams. Extra users are $25 a month on any paid plan. See full QuoteIQ pricing.
Jobber is the general-purpose field service CRM most contractors know, and it was early to publish a Claude and ChatGPT connection. Jobber’s help article, updated October 1, 2026, says the connection is available on every plan from Core through Plus and works with free Claude and ChatGPT accounts. That makes it the lowest-friction way to try this.
The scope is the catch. ChatGPT can read clients, properties, requests, quotes, jobs and invoices. It can create and edit requests, clients and properties, and create new quotes. Per the same article, it cannot create or edit jobs or invoices, delete or archive records, or change the schedule. Jobber’s own AI features sit beside the connector: a report builder, automation suggestions, text rewriting, voice commands for 100+ tasks and an AI Receptionist. The Receptionist is included on Plus and otherwise costs $29 a month for 30 conversations, with a dedicated Jobber number. Extra users are $29 a month, and the trial is 14 days. Prices come from Jobber’s pricing page.
In practice: a typical read-only use is asking ChatGPT which quotes you sent last month are still waiting on approval, or to summarize a client’s history before you call them. Drafting works too, for example turning a voicemail you paste in into a new request or a quote. What you cannot do is ask it to convert an approved quote into a job or issue the invoice, so you finish those steps in Jobber. Before you buy, ask which plan includes the AI Receptionist you want and whether the connector’s scope has grown since the October 1 article.
Best for: general service crews that mainly want ChatGPT to look things up, summarize and draft quotes.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A good pick if you already run Jobber and want read-heavy ChatGPT help today. If you want ChatGPT to create invoices or work the schedule, the connector does not go there yet.
JobTread is construction management software for builders, remodelers and specialty contractors. It launched an AI connector for ChatGPT and Claude in April 2026 and is listed in OpenAI’s directory. JobTread’s June 5 release said more than 2,500 companies connected in under two months, at no additional cost.
The connector runs on your own ChatGPT or Claude account. JobTread’s May 28 blog is candid about one limit: there is no global undo function, so review what the assistant wrote before you rely on it. Pricing is a $199 monthly base that includes one internal user, then $20 per extra user for users 2–10, falling to $15, $10 and $5 at higher tiers. Annual billing saves 20%, there are no contract or setup fees, and monthly plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. We could not confirm a free trial.
In practice: treat it as a lookup and drafting assistant. Ask it to summarize where a project stands before a client call, or to draft a follow-up for the job you just walked. Because there is no global undo, ask it to show what it intends to change before you accept it. Before you buy, ask JobTread whether a free trial exists, which actions the connector can take on your plan, and how you would reverse a wrong change.
Best for: project-based contractors who bid, build and bill over weeks or months.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: The strongest option here if you build or remodel. If most of your revenue is recurring visits and routes, a service-first tool like QuoteIQ or Jobber fits the work better.
HubSpot’s official ChatGPT connector is the most mature one outside the field service world. It is available on all HubSpot plans, including the free CRM, and needs an OpenAI account. A HubSpot Super Admin has to approve it first.
ChatGPT can read and write contacts, companies, deals, tickets and similar records, but quotes and invoices are read-only. Bulk writes are capped at 10 records, validation rules are not applied, and it is web-only. HubSpot’s changelog and its help article disagree on whether a paid ChatGPT plan is required, so check before you plan around it. HubSpot also offers a remote MCP server for builders. We found no scheduling, dispatch or job costing on HubSpot’s pages, native quotes need Revenue Hub Professional or above, and its pricing pages disagree on the Starter price.
In practice: this suits a sales manager. Ask ChatGPT which deals have gone quiet for two weeks, draft the follow-up, and update the contact record. Because quotes and invoices are read-only, a won deal still moves into your field service software for scheduling and billing. Before you connect, confirm whether your ChatGPT plan meets HubSpot’s requirement, and line up your Super Admin, since nothing connects without that approval.
Best for: remodelers, roofers and other contractors whose bottleneck is lead flow and a long, high-ticket sales cycle.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Pick HubSpot when your problem is the pipeline, not the truck. You will still need a field service tool for jobs, scheduling and invoices.
Pipedrive launched a native MCP server on June 30, 2026, available on all plans with token limits. It is a sales-pipeline CRM, which suits contractors who live in follow-ups and bids more than in dispatch.
Connecting ChatGPT is manual. In developer mode you add a custom connector, labeled “Pipedrive MCP BETA,” that points at Pipedrive’s MCP address, and Pipedrive’s support article says it needs a ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan. The real cost depends on add-ons, which are priced separately: Smart Docs for quotes and documents ($32.50), LeadBooster ($32.50) and Projects ($16), among others. Per the pricing page, the per-seat figures above are for annual billing.
In practice: a sales-led contractor could ask for every open bid older than a week and have ChatGPT draft a nudge to each customer. Plan for some setup friction, since the connector is manual and labeled beta, and for the token limits that apply on every plan. Before you buy, ask Pipedrive what the limits are on your tier and which add-ons you would need for quotes and projects.
Best for: sales-led contractors who want a lightweight pipeline and are comfortable setting up a connector by hand.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A reasonable lead-tracking layer for sales-led trades. For jobs, scheduling and invoices, you would pair it with a field service tool.
ServiceTitan is the enterprise field service platform. Its Pantheon 2026 event in October included a mention of “an MCP server connecting Claude or ChatGPT to ServiceTitan data,” according to ServiceTitan’s live coverage. Other ServiceTitan material describes the MCP as still in development, and we found no published availability date, plan eligibility or price for it.
ServiceTitan also markets AI products named Atlas and Max, and we found no published prices for either. Core pricing is quote-only and per technician across Starter, Essentials and The Works editions, and you get a demo rather than a trial. Reviewers on Capterra (4.3 stars, 341 reviews) cite support, cost and onboarding, and one July 2026 reviewer described roughly $22,000 to exit a contract.
In practice: there is nothing to try yet, so the useful advice is procedural. Ask ServiceTitan for the MCP’s release date, the editions that include it, the price, and which actions will be read-only. Ask whether Atlas and Max overlap with it. Get the answers in writing, and read the contract’s exit terms before you sign, given what reviewers report.
Best for: operations with 20 or more technicians and office staff, if the MCP ships as described.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Treat the MCP as a roadmap item until ServiceTitan publishes setup documentation. If you need ChatGPT access to your data this quarter, the options above are live today.
Zoho offers four official MCP servers for its CRM: Data Insights (read-only), Data Operations (create, read, update, delete and bulk), Module Customization, and Workflow & Process Automation. That is the widest range of server types on this list, from a safe read-only option to one that can edit your CRM’s structure.
The gap is documentation. Zoho’s homepage names ChatGPT, but the CRM docs we read name Claude, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf, so we found no ChatGPT-specific setup guide. MCP calls count against your API usage, and rollout is phased by data center. The pricing pages we could read showed rupee prices only, so we cannot give you a verified US-dollar figure. Quotes and invoices need the Professional edition or above, field service is a separate product (Zoho FSM), and Zia AI features depend on your edition.
In practice: the sensible start is the read-only Data Insights server. Connect it, ask for pipeline or lead-source reports, and watch how much of your API usage those calls consume before you open up Data Operations. Keep the Module Customization and Workflow & Process Automation servers off until someone has reviewed what they can change. Before you buy, ask Zoho for US-dollar pricing and for written ChatGPT setup steps.
Best for: tech-comfortable teams with an admin who can configure MCP and who want a low-cost general CRM.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Flexible for a team with a technical owner. Most small crews will find a field service CRM with a ready connector faster to live with.
Housecall Pro is a context pick. We found no vendor-published ChatGPT connector or MCP server, and the MCP repository on GitHub that mentions it says it is not affiliated with Housecall Pro. What it offers instead is an AI Team: CSR AI, Analyst AI, Coach AI, Marketing AI and Help AI.
The AI Team is included on paid plans, but CSR AI, which answers calls and books jobs, is an optional add-on with no published price, and parts of it are labeled alpha. Monthly billing costs more than the annual prices above, and the trial is 14 days. Reviewers on Capterra (4.7 stars, 2,749 reviews) praise the product but mention bugs (April 2026), reporting gaps (October 2025) and persistent sales calls (November 2024).
In practice: the AI Team is about taking work off the office, not about linking ChatGPT to your data. If you try CSR AI, test it during your busiest hour and read the call transcripts for mistakes before you trust it. Before you buy, ask Housecall Pro for CSR AI’s price in writing, what each of the five AI roles does on your plan, and what “alpha” means for the features you plan to use.
Best for: residential crews that want AI to answer the phone and coach the office, rather than a ChatGPT link to their data.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: A solid field service tool with its own AI, but not a ChatGPT integration. If connecting ChatGPT is the goal, look higher on this list.
Salesforce has the most formal ChatGPT story on this list. The Agentforce Sales app in ChatGPT, announced in December 2025 and January 2026, is in open beta. It requires an Enterprise, Performance or Unlimited edition, the Agentforce for Sales and Einstein add-ons, and ChatGPT Enterprise or Business. Salesforce’s hosted MCP servers reached general availability on April 29, 2026, also for Enterprise Edition and above.
That puts it out of reach for most small contractors. We found no documentation of the ChatGPT app on the Starter Suite or the Pro Suite (see Salesforce’s small business pricing). Starter has data-model limits, including no custom objects, and Salesforce Field Service is a separate product. A 30-day trial is available.
In practice: a sales leader at a commercial contractor could ask ChatGPT for pipeline by territory or to prepare for a bid review, within the permissions admins set. Expect an implementation project rather than a two-minute setup, because admins must enable the app, buy the add-ons and decide who gets access. Before you commit, ask for the total cost with the Agentforce for Sales and Einstein add-ons and a qualifying ChatGPT plan.
Best for: large or multi-location commercial contractors that already run Salesforce and have admins to manage it.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Right for an organization that already lives in Salesforce. For a typical contractor, the plan requirements and admin load outweigh the benefit.
Workiz is another context pick. Its Genius AI suite covers answering calls, scheduling, leads, phone and marketing, which is AI that works for your front office rather than AI you drive from ChatGPT. Workiz’s llms.txt says it has no public MCP server, and its MCP page is help documentation behind a sign-in.
Pricing is not published: all three plans say “request pricing,” and we saw conflicting third-party figures that we do not repeat here. Reviewers on Capterra (4.4 stars, 218 reviews) mention support, cost, a glitchy app and a phone feature that works on the web only. Those reviews date from late 2024 to May 2025, so the product may have moved since.
In practice: ask Workiz for a demo of Genius Answering on your own phone number, then listen to a full day of calls. The question is whether the AI books jobs correctly, not whether it sounds good. Before you buy, ask for all three plan prices in writing, whether an MCP server is planned, and how long the trial really covers.
Best for: phone-heavy crews that want AI answering more than ChatGPT access.
Pros
Cons
Verdict: Worth a demo if call handling is your bottleneck. It is not a ChatGPT integration, so it ranks last here.
Most contractors are still early with AI, which is why a connector that is hard to set up or hard to trust goes unused. These figures frame the opportunity. The Census figures come from its Business Trends and Outlook Survey, and the story we cite does not break out construction.
Pick QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99 a month. The MCP connector is included, you are the account owner so you can connect it yourself, and the 14-day trial lets you test it on real quotes before you commit. Annual billing brings that to $299.99 a year. Jobber Core is $29 a month on annual billing and has a narrower connector, so it suits a solo operator who mainly wants ChatGPT to look things up. Whichever you choose, start with read-only requests such as summarizing a client’s history before you call them, then move on to drafting estimates once you trust the output.
QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99, 2 users) or Pro ($199.99, 4 users). Pro also lets the connector reach Client Hub conversations, which matters if your office wants ChatGPT to summarize customer texts before replying. A crew this size usually has one person on quotes and one on the schedule, so decide who is the account owner that connects ChatGPT. If your crew mostly needs ChatGPT to look up clients and draft quotes, Jobber Connect from $99 a month is a fair comparison, but remember its connector cannot create jobs or invoices.
QuoteIQ Elite at $299.99 a month includes 10 users, plus InstaQuote and InstaSchedule for customer self-service, so some of the work happens before your office touches it. Because only the account owner connects ChatGPT, this size works best when the owner or office manager runs the AI side and crews use the mobile app. Keep the approval queue on from day one so the office sees every write before it lands. Jobber Plus is the nearest alternative, but its pricing starts at 5 users and its connector cannot create jobs or invoices.
QuoteIQ Max ($699.99, 20 users) keeps one connector and one set of approval rules across the whole team, and extra users are $25 a month on any paid plan. At this size the risk is not the AI, it is nobody owning it. Name one person responsible for the approval queue, and decide which actions, such as sending invoices or taking payments, always need a second pair of eyes. Compare it with Jobber Plus, and ask both vendors in writing what the AI can and cannot change before you commit.
Start with ServiceTitan if you want the deepest enterprise platform, and ask for the MCP’s availability in writing, because it has only been announced. Salesforce is the choice if you already run it on an Enterprise plan and have admins to manage the ChatGPT app, which is still in beta. QuoteIQ Max, with extra users at $25 a month, is the route with a live connector and published pricing today. At this size, also ask each vendor how access is audited and who can switch the connector off.
JobTread. It is the strongest project-based tool here, its ChatGPT connector is listed and included, and it is priced per internal user. Remember JobTread’s own note that there is no global undo, so ask the assistant to show what it plans to change before you accept it. If part of your revenue is recurring service work, such as maintenance plans or warranty visits, compare it with QuoteIQ for that side of the business, since a service-first tool handles routes and repeat visits more naturally.
QuoteIQ Essentials with AI AutoPilot turned on, or Jobber. You do not need ChatGPT at all to get value: AutoPilot runs commands inside the QuoteIQ app, so you can type or say what you want, such as an estimate for a customer, without opening a second tool. The connector is there when you are ready for it, and the 14-day trial gives you time to find out whether you will actually use it. Most of the benefit comes from using one tool every day, not from the AI.
A connector hands an AI assistant the keys to customer records, prices and invoices. These six habits apply to any vendor on this list.
Defined what counts as a ChatGPT integration. We sorted vendors into three styles: a published connector or app, an official MCP server you add yourself, and built-in AI only. A tool had to expose your own customer and job data to ChatGPT to rank above built-in AI only.
Built the longlist and cut it to ten. We started with the CRM and field service tools contractors shortlist most often, including FieldPulse, Service Fusion, FieldEdge, JobNimbus, Buildertrend and Houzz Pro. Those six had no ChatGPT connector we could verify as available, so they were cut.
Verified pricing and connector terms against vendor pages. We read help articles, pricing pages and press releases on October 10, 2026. Where a price or setup step was unpublished or contradicted another page, we wrote it as unknown.
Read public reviews for the cons. We used Capterra reviews for each competitor and noted their dates, because older complaints may no longer apply. We did not test competitors hands-on.
Added operator perspective from Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers. Both Co-Founders have run service businesses, and their view shaped the weight we gave to safeguards and to actually turning the automation on.
“The new ai system they have is making me really lazy😀 LOVE IT!!!”
“QuoteIQ is going to save me quite a bit of time with its automation.”
“QuoteIQ automates it all, saving me time and helping my business grow faster.”
Note: none of these reviews mentions ChatGPT or the MCP connector, which launched in September 2026. They are real 5-star reviews from QuoteIQ’s Google, Google Play and App Store listings about its built-in AI and automation, shown as published.

Read Mike’s insights →Justin co-founded QuoteIQ alongside Mike. As the operator behind the ForeverSelfEmployed YouTube channel (743K+ subscribers), he has built and scaled service businesses across multiple verticals.
Read Justin’s insights →QuoteIQ is the best CRM with ChatGPT integration for most contractors in 2026. Its MCP connector is included on every plan from $29.99 a month, covers estimates, invoices, contacts, schedules, tasks, expenses and inventory, and gates writes behind approvals. Jobber has the simplest published connection but cannot create jobs or invoices, JobTread is the pick for builders and remodelers, and ServiceTitan has only announced an MCP server.
Yes, if the CRM publishes a connector or an MCP server. Jobber, JobTread, HubSpot and Salesforce publish connectors. QuoteIQ, Pipedrive and Zoho CRM offer MCP servers you add yourself, and ServiceTitan has announced one. Housecall Pro and Workiz have no ChatGPT connector we could find. Check your ChatGPT plan too: OpenAI limits full MCP write access in developer mode to Business and Enterprise/Edu workspaces.
Prices here run from $29.99 a month for QuoteIQ Essentials, connector included, and $29 a month on annual billing for Jobber Core, to $199 a month for JobTread and per-user enterprise pricing for Salesforce and ServiceTitan. HubSpot and Zoho have free plans with paid tiers per seat. QuoteIQ has a 14-day trial on every plan. Prices were read on October 10, 2026, and your ChatGPT plan may add its own cost.
In QuoteIQ, open Settings → Automation → AI Assistant (MCP) and copy the connector URL, which contains no API key. In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode, add a custom connector and complete the OAuth sign-in. It takes about two minutes. Only the account owner can connect, and availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace policies. Claude works too, through Customize → Connectors. Full steps are on the QuoteIQ MCP page.
It can be, if the CRM limits what the AI can change. Look for approval queues, confirmations before sending or taking a payment, scoped access and undo, and connect only servers you trust. OpenAI’s help article warns about prompt injection from untrusted MCP servers, and NIST’s Generative AI Profile (AI 600-1) is a free framework for managing generative AI risk. This is general information, not legal advice.
It depends on the connector. QuoteIQ’s can create estimates and invoices, with writes waiting for your approval and invoice creation pausing on a Proceed or Cancel prompt. Jobber’s can create quotes but not jobs or invoices. HubSpot’s treats quotes and invoices as read-only. JobTread’s connector has no global undo, so review what it writes before you rely on it. Whichever tool you use, read every AI-drafted estimate or invoice before it goes to a customer.
Yes. Jobber’s help article, updated October 1, 2026, says the Claude and ChatGPT connection is available on Core, Connect, Grow and Plus plans and works with free accounts. ChatGPT can read clients, properties, requests, quotes, jobs and invoices, and create requests, clients, properties and quotes. It cannot create or edit jobs or invoices, delete or archive records, or change the schedule.
We found no vendor-published ChatGPT connector or MCP server for Housecall Pro as of October 10, 2026. A GitHub MCP repository that mentions it says it is not affiliated with Housecall Pro. What Housecall Pro offers is its own AI Team: CSR AI, Analyst AI, Coach AI, Marketing AI and Help AI. CSR AI is an optional add-on with no published price.
ServiceTitan’s live coverage of Pantheon 2026 mentions an MCP server connecting Claude or ChatGPT to ServiceTitan data, but other ServiceTitan material describes the MCP as still in development. We found no published availability date, plan eligibility or price. Ask your representative for written confirmation of what ships, when and on which edition before you plan around it. Until then, treat ServiceTitan’s connector as unproven.
HubSpot has an official ChatGPT connector available on all plans, approved by a Super Admin. It reads and writes contacts, companies, deals and tickets, but quotes and invoices are read-only, and we found no field service scheduling or dispatch on HubSpot’s pages. It suits a lead and pipeline problem, not a job and invoice problem, so most contractors would pair it with a field service tool for scheduling, jobs and billing.
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open-source standard for connecting AI applications to external systems. For a CRM, it means ChatGPT or Claude can use a defined set of tools, such as finding a client or drafting a quote, instead of you copying and pasting data. The quality of the tools and the safeguards around writes decide whether it actually helps.
It depends on the vendor. Jobber says free Claude and ChatGPT accounts work. Pipedrive says its setup needs ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu. OpenAI says full MCP connectors with write actions in developer mode are limited to Business and Enterprise/Edu, and Pro can connect read and fetch only. HubSpot’s pages disagree on the requirement. QuoteIQ says availability depends on your AI provider’s account and workspace policies.
A connector lets an outside assistant, ChatGPT, use tools inside your CRM. Built-in AI runs inside the CRM itself. QuoteIQ offers both: the MCP connector for ChatGPT and Claude, plus AutoPilot, CoPilot and the AI Estimator inside the app. Housecall Pro and Workiz offer built-in AI only. Built-in AI needs no outside subscription, while a connector gives you a general-purpose assistant.
QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99 a month is the best fit for most solo contractors. The connector is included, you are the account owner so you can connect it yourself, and the 14-day trial lets you test it on real quotes. Jobber Core at $29 a month on annual billing is the main alternative, with a narrower connector. See QuoteIQ pricing for all five plans.
With QuoteIQ’s connector it can prepare them, but sending an estimate, invoice, email or text asks for your confirmation every time. Treat any AI-written customer message as a draft: read it, and make sure your contact lists follow the texting and email rules that apply to you. This is general information, not legal advice. For other vendors, check each connector’s documentation for what it can send.
Often, yes. QuoteIQ, Jobber and JobTread list both Claude and ChatGPT. Zoho’s CRM docs name Claude, but we found no ChatGPT-specific guide. Claude can be the practical choice when your ChatGPT plan limits MCP write access, since QuoteIQ’s connector adds to Claude under Customize → Connectors in a few steps. Check each vendor’s help article for the exact setup for the assistant you use.
Trusted by 40,000+ contractors · 4.7★ average rating · 4,103+ reviews on the App Store, Google Play and Google
For most contractors in 2026, QuoteIQ is the best CRM with ChatGPT integration. The connector is included on every plan from $29.99 a month, it covers the whole money path from estimate to invoice to schedule, and it keeps you in control with approvals, confirmations and undo where supported. The built-in AutoPilot, CoPilot and AI Estimator mean the product earns its price even if your ChatGPT plan limits what the connector can do.
The runners-up are real. Jobber is the easiest published connection if you mostly want ChatGPT to read and draft. JobTread is the right call for builders and remodelers. HubSpot suits lead-heavy sales cycles, and Pipedrive and Zoho suit teams with an admin. ServiceTitan and Salesforce matter if you are large, but one has only announced its MCP and the other requires an Enterprise plan. Housecall Pro and Workiz are good field service tools with their own AI, not ChatGPT integrations.
This space is moving fast. Most connectors in this article launched in 2026, and several are still in beta. The sensible path is to start small: connect a read-only workflow first, read what ChatGPT drafts before it reaches a customer, and widen access as you trust it. QuoteIQ’s 14-day trial is a low-risk way to try that on real work.
14-day free trial on every plan. Plans start at $29.99/mo.
