Top 10 Best Customer Map Software for Appliance Repair Businesses in 2026

An appliance repair tech might run a washer call in one suburb, a range across town and a restaurant reach-in after lunch. We compared 10 customer map tools, from full field-service suites to standalone map apps, on what each one actually plots, what it costs and what you can do from a pin.

Quick Answer

The best customer map software for appliance repair businesses in 2026 is QuoteIQ. Its Atlas map puts customers, active jobs and leads on one satellite map on every plan, and each pin opens straight into an estimate, an invoice or the schedule. Housecall Pro is the closest field-service alternative, with an optional all-customers layer and technician GPS. ServiceTitan suits large dispatch teams. Maptive and Badger Maps are mapping specialists without quoting or invoicing, and Google My Maps is a capped, manual way to test the idea.

How We Picked the Top 10

We’re QuoteIQ. We made this list, and we ranked our own platform #1. The reason is narrow and checkable: Atlas, QuoteIQ’s map, plots every customer, job and lead on one screen on every plan, while most field-service competitors map today’s visits or live technician positions. We also say where QuoteIQ falls short and where a rival is the better fit.

“Customer map” means different things in different products. For an appliance repair shop it should answer four questions: where are all my customers, where is each job today, where is each tech right now, and where are the businesses I haven’t won yet? A tool that answers only the second question is a schedule with pins. We scored each platform on five criteria:

  1. Whole-customer visibility. Does the map show every customer you have served, or only the visits on today’s schedule?
  2. Action from the pin. Can you start an estimate, send an invoice or book a visit from the map without switching screens?
  3. Technician and route tools. Live tech location, drive-time ordering and the real limits behind each claim, including which plan unlocks them.
  4. Price and limit transparency. Published prices, user counts, import caps and add-on fees. Hidden fees cost points.
  5. Fit for a 1–20 user repair shop. Mobile usability, setup effort and review themes from Capterra and G2.

“Slow response. Not bad pricing, not weak reputation, not inferior quality — slow response.”

— Justin Rogers, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ

That is Justin’s answer to why contractors lose jobs they should have won, and it shaped one of our core tests: can a dispatcher see the closest tech and the customer’s history in a single glance?

One limit up front. Every price and map limit below comes from the vendor’s published pages, read on October 14, 2026. We did not run hands-on tests of the competitors, so treat their feature notes as vendor-documented rather than lab-verified.

QuoteIQ — Best Overall Customer Map Software for Appliance Repair

From $29.99/mo · 14-day free trial on every plan

Most customer maps answer one question: where are today’s jobs? QuoteIQ’s Atlas answers a bigger one: where is my whole business? Customers and active jobs appear as color-coded pins on a satellite map, with layers you switch on and off. Tap a pin and its card opens with the next steps already attached: Estimate, Invoice, Schedule. A repair shop lives on repeat customers and neighborhood referrals, so seeing everyone you have served, not just this afternoon’s calls, is what makes dispatching and marketing decisions possible.

Atlas is included on every plan, starting with Essentials at $29.99/mo. It also goes past a customer map. Its Lead Generator lets you search a ZIP code or a drawn area by business type for free, shows the exact count of businesses found, and charges only when you unlock the list. For an appliance shop that can mean property managers, apartment complexes or restaurants with commercial kitchens in your service area. Door-knocking pins let a tech canvass a street after finishing a job, with seven statuses to start and a CSV export.

On Elite and Max, Atlas adds Routing, which puts a day’s jobs in better driving order and saves changes only when you accept them, and Employees, which shows team members on the map only while they are clocked in. Those are separate from the calendar’s Route Optimization (also Elite and Max) and from Route Density Zones, which show where scheduled work clusters so you can plan a day around one part of town. QuoteIQ also has a dedicated appliance repair page covering online booking, per-job profit tracking and automated review requests.

Best for: Appliance repair shops with 1–20 users that want customers, jobs, leads and routes on one map, and quoting and invoicing in the same app.

What the map does for an appliance repair shop

Pros

  • Whole-business map on every plan, not just today’s schedule
  • Pin cards start estimates, invoices and scheduling without leaving the map
  • Lead and property data sit on the same map; search is free and you pay only to unlock
  • Published pricing, with quoting, invoicing and scheduling in the same app

Cons

  • Atlas Routing, Employees, calendar Route Optimization and Route Density Zones need Elite ($299.99/mo) or Max ($699.99/mo)
  • Lead and property data are pay-per-use on top of the subscription
  • Atlas launched in September 2026, so it has far fewer public reviews than older map tools
  • Not the deepest dispatch board; shops running 30+ techs a day may prefer ServiceTitan

Mike Vidan, asked for the biggest time waster in quoting, answered:

“Driving to properties for estimates on jobs that don’t require a site visit.”

— Mike Vidan, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ

Verdict: If your shop has 1–20 users and you want customers, jobs, leads and routes on one map without buying a separate mapping tool, QuoteIQ is the pick. Start on Essentials ($29.99/mo) for the customer map. Move to Elite ($299.99/mo, 10 users) when you want Atlas Routing, live team locations and calendar Route Optimization. The full ladder is Beginner $99.99, Pro $199.99 and Max $699.99 (20 users), annual billing gets two months free, extra users are $25 each, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

Housecall Pro — Best for Live Technician GPS on a Mid-Priced Plan

Basic $59/mo · Essentials $149/mo · Max $299/mo (billed annually)

Housecall Pro’s map is built around today’s jobs and your technicians. In its HCP Map, a pin marks the service address of each job on the schedule, with techs shown on the same map. It is also the only field-service competitor we found that documents an optional all-customers layer: semi-translucent orange pins, one for each customer in your database. That puts it ahead of the other suites here on whole-customer visibility.

The plan breakdown matters. The pricing page lists Employee GPS tracking, which locates techs from their phones with no hardware, on Essentials ($149/mo billed annually, 5 users), and route optimization, which reorders jobs on real drive time and live traffic, on Max ($299/mo billed annually, 8 users). Its appliance repair page promises to dispatch the closest appliance technician automatically, alongside a price book and QuickBooks integration.

The fine print is where it differs from a dedicated customer map. Housecall Pro’s help article says GPS tracking works only during your configured business hours. Android devices report about every 15 minutes, and iPhones report after roughly 400 meters of movement or when the app or Schedule screen opens. For a dispatcher choosing the nearest tech for an emergency refrigerator call, that update cadence is worth knowing. Vehicle GPS is a separate $20 per vehicle per month.

Best for: Residential appliance shops that want phone-based technician GPS and a customer-wide map layer, and can pay $149–$299/mo billed annually.

Map and routing features

Pros

  • Documents an optional all-customers map layer, which the other suites here do not
  • Tech GPS comes from phones with no hardware
  • 4.7 average on Capterra across 2,749 reviews
  • 14-day free trial that covers the full Max plan, per its FAQ

Cons

  • The pricing page shows higher figures ($79, $189, $329) next to the annual prices without labeling them
  • GPS updates only in business hours and as slowly as every 15 minutes on Android
  • Add-ons such as $20 per vehicle GPS; reviewers also cite add-on costs
  • Capterra reviewers cite bugs and lag, layout changes without notice, chat-only support and weak reporting

Verdict: Housecall Pro is the strongest alternative if live technician location is your top need. QuoteIQ is the better match when you want the whole-customer map and lead tools on every plan. Compare like with like: QuoteIQ Elite is $299.99/mo month-to-month ($2,999.99 billed annually) for 10 users with Atlas Routing and Employees, while Housecall Pro Max is $299/mo billed annually for 8 users.

Jobber — Best for a Clean Day-View Map on a Small Crew

Core from $29/mo · Connect from $99/mo · Grow from $149/mo (billed annually, 1 user)

Jobber’s map answers the day-of question well. Its Map View shows the day’s visits as pins, but only for items linked to a client and property, and blue routing lines appear once you have at least two anytime visits. The help article does not say which plan includes it. Route optimization is documented for Connect, Grow and Plus: it is admin-only, covers anytime visits only, plans up to seven days at a time and has to be run on Jobber.com rather than in the app.

We found no dedicated all-customers map. A reply from Jobber staff in the company’s community forum points to the Route Optimization setting, which will display your clients’ locations on a map, a workaround rather than a customer map. GPS Waypoint Tracking is a pin log of in-app actions such as clock-in and visit completion, not live tracking, and live vehicle tracking needs a purchased FleetSharp device on select plans.

Prices run by commitment: Core is $49 month-to-month, $39 on a one-year term or $29 billed annually for one user, and extra users are $29/mo each. Jobber’s appliance repair page has a “Map and routing” section, but parts appear only as quote line items and job notes, and the integrations it names are QuickBooks Online, Mailchimp and Zapier.

Best for: Small appliance crews that mostly need a tidy view of today’s route and already like Jobber’s quoting and invoicing.

Map and routing features

Pros

  • Clean day-view map with routing lines
  • Route optimization starts on Connect, which is $99/mo billed annually for one user
  • 4.6 average on Capterra across 1,487 reviews
  • QuickBooks Online integration named on its appliance repair page

Cons

  • No dedicated all-customers map found in the documentation we read
  • Route optimization is browser-only, admin-only and limited to anytime visits
  • Live vehicle tracking depends on third-party hardware
  • Per-user costs add up at $29/mo for each extra user; one September 2026 reviewer says stops show “as dots rather than an actual street-by-street route”

Verdict: Jobber is a solid pick if you want a simple, well-reviewed day view and are comfortable with the web-only route tool. If you need to see every customer you have served, or tie the map to leads, QuoteIQ’s Atlas covers that on every plan.

Workiz — Best for Team Location Tracking on Every Plan

Custom — contact sales (Standard, Pro, Ultimate) · 7-day free trial

Workiz currently publishes no plan prices: Standard, Pro and Ultimate all point to a “Request pricing” button, and we could not find per-user or extra-user fees. What the plan matrix does show is Fleet tracking and Team location tracking marked as included on all three plans, which makes team location the most accessible map feature here.

Setup has conditions. Workiz’s help article says the Map page, with technicians as pins on a Techs tab, has to be switched on in the Feature Center and in each user’s profile. Tracking needs “Always” location access, runs only while the app is open, covers paid users only and cannot track subcontractors. You can also draw service areas on a map by ZIP radius, city, county or custom shape, but that needs an add-on we could not price. We found no map of all customers and no jobs plotted as pins.

Workiz’s appliance repair pages list inventory, purchase orders linked to a job, troubleshooting checklists and 16 integrations including QuickBooks, Linxup and JB Warranties. Its own comparison blog also mentions a Parts Town integration, which we did not see on the product pages. Capterra reviewers (4.4 across 218 reviews) cite the monthly fee, hidden fees, QuickBooks sync and mobile app limits.

Best for: Appliance teams that want live crew location and appliance-specific job tools in a phone-forward platform, and are happy to negotiate pricing.

Map and routing features

Pros

  • Team location tracking on every plan
  • Appliance pages list inventory, job-linked purchase orders and checklists
  • Integrations that include QuickBooks and warranty tools
  • Service-area drawing for dispatch zones

Cons

  • No published prices; you must request a quote
  • Tracking works only while the app is open, and subcontractors cannot be tracked
  • No all-customers map or job-pin map found
  • Reviewers cite hidden fees and QuickBooks sync issues

Verdict: Workiz suits teams whose first question is “where are my techs right now?” If you want published pricing and a map of every customer and lead, QuoteIQ is the cleaner fit.

ServiceTitan — Best for Large Dispatch Teams

Custom — contact sales (per-technician pricing) · free demo, no free trial listed

ServiceTitan has the most developed dispatch map in this list. Dispatch Map 2.0 shows appointments as numbered squares and technicians as numbered rectangles, colors unassigned work by priority, and lets a dispatcher draw a polygon, rectangle or circle to batch-assign jobs. Live technician GPS shows on the map, and route optimization will not move appointments that are already confirmed. Its documentation describes the map as primarily for residential service and replacement business types.

The limits are specific. Optimization applies only to scheduled jobs assigned to a single technician for one day, unvalidated addresses are excluded, and techs show at their home address on non-current dates or when GPS cannot reach them. The map documentation does not list customers as a map item, and the dashboard heat map plots revenue and job counts by ZIP code rather than customer pins. Vehicle GPS is a separate Fleet Pro add-on with no published price.

ServiceTitan publishes no prices; its pricing page offers Starter, Essentials and The Works with a request button, and third-party roundups cite figures around $300 per technician per month that we could not confirm. Its appliance repair page mentions automated inventory management, QuickBooks integration and customers who can view a tech’s GPS location. Capterra reviewers (4.3 across 342 reviews) cite price, support turnaround, bugs after updates and a learning curve, and one says they were not told they were signing a two-year contract.

Best for: Appliance companies with a dedicated dispatcher and the budget for a quote-only platform.

Map and routing features

Pros

  • Deepest dispatch map in the lineup
  • Draw-to-assign saves time on busy days
  • Inventory management and QuickBooks listed for appliance repair
  • Customers can view a technician’s GPS location

Cons

  • Quote-only pricing and no free trial
  • Map documentation does not cover plotting all customers
  • Optimization has tight conditions and excludes unvalidated addresses
  • Reviewers report a learning curve, support delays and contract surprises

Verdict: Pick ServiceTitan if you run a larger team with a dispatcher who lives in the map all day. For shops in the 1–20 user range that want a customer map and published pricing, QuoteIQ gets you there for far less setup.

Service Fusion — Best for Unlimited Users With Add-On GPS

Starter $208/mo · Plus $325/mo · Pro $533/mo (billed annually, unlimited users)

Service Fusion’s selling point is simple: every plan includes unlimited users, so adding a dispatcher or a ninth tech does not change your bill. Its pricing page shows Starter at $208/mo, Plus at $325/mo and Pro at $533/mo billed annually, or $245, $382 and $627 month-to-month. There is no trial listed, only free-demo buttons.

The map is the part to read carefully. None of the plan feature lists on the pricing page mention maps, GPS or routing. “GPS Fleet Tracking” appears only as an add-on for all three plans, with no published price, and the device is hardwired into the vehicle. Its scheduling page describes a team-location map view, a dispatch grid with a GPS tracking map and the ability to reassign appointments directly from the Map View, but it names no tier and offers dispatch zones rather than route optimization. We found no map of all customers.

Service Fusion’s appliance repair page lists a map and driving directions to jobs in the mobile app, real-time fleet tracking and a customer web booking portal. Capterra reviewers (4.3 across 308 reviews) showed no map complaints in the 25 reviews visible, but cite QuickBooks sync, slow speed, mobile app updates and mismatches between the desktop and mobile schedule.

Best for: Appliance companies with a growing office team that want unlimited seats and will pay extra for fleet GPS.

Map and routing features

Pros

  • Unlimited users on every plan
  • Reassigning jobs from the map speeds up dispatch
  • Customer web booking portal for appliance repair
  • Month-to-month billing available

Cons

  • Maps, GPS and routing are not in the plan feature lists
  • GPS is an unpriced add-on that needs vehicle hardware
  • No route optimization or all-customers map found
  • Reviewers report slow speed and desktop-versus-mobile schedule mismatches

Verdict: Service Fusion works when unlimited seats matter more than a map-first experience. If the map is the reason you are shopping, confirm what the GPS add-on costs before you compare totals.

7

FieldEdge — Best for Appliance Histories With a Work-Order Map

Custom — contact sales (Select, Premier, Elite) · free demo, no free trial

FieldEdge is quote-only. Its pricing page lists Select (2 mobile app licenses), Premier (4) and Elite (6), each with a “Request Pricing” button, and says plainly that it does not offer a free trial. The page lists Basic Dispatching on Select and Advanced Dispatching on Premier and Elite, but no map, GPS or route features.

The map shows up on the vendor’s other pages. FieldEdge’s Premier page describes Advanced Dispatch Filtering, which lets you apply filters to the dispatch board and view all of the matching work orders on the map at once. Its scheduling page mentions Location Mapping, route optimization and real-time fleet updates without naming a tier. That makes it a work-order map inside the dispatch board, not a map of every customer, and the map filtering is tied to Premier on the pages we read.

For appliance repair specifically, FieldEdge’s page promises to assign the right technician based on appliance expertise and location, and lists appliance histories with warranty details, an inventory FAQ and QuickBooks sync. Capterra reviewers (4.1 across 313 reviews) cite support, a learning curve, a dated interface and QuickBooks gaps, and one July 2026 reviewer reported a mobile sync delay. We saw no map or routing complaints.

Best for: Mid-size appliance shops that value appliance and warranty history on the record and are comfortable buying through a sales process.

Map and routing features

Pros

  • Appliance histories and warranty details on the customer record
  • Technician matching by expertise and location
  • QuickBooks sync named on its appliance page
  • Dedicated dispatch board with filtering

Cons

  • Quote-only pricing and no free trial
  • Map filtering is tied to Premier on the vendor pages
  • Work-order map, not an all-customers map
  • Reviewers cite support, a dated interface and a learning curve

Verdict: FieldEdge fits a mid-size shop that wants appliance histories and a dispatch board and is fine with a sales-led purchase. If you want to see pricing and try the product before talking to anyone, QuoteIQ and Housecall Pro both offer trials.

Maptive — Best Standalone Map for Territory Analysis

Pro $110/mo or $1,250/yr (1 user) · Team $220/mo or $2,500/yr (5 users) · 10-day free trial

Maptive is a mapping product, not a repair platform, and that is both its strength and its limit. You upload a spreadsheet of customers and get pins plus territory tools: county, state and ZIP boundaries, drive-time polygons, radius circles and heat maps. All plans include what the vendor calls 60+ mapping tools. On Pro, caps are 100,000 locations per data set, 600,000 stored records, 400,000 geocoded locations and 3,500 public map views a day, with API access.

Maptive’s own documents disagree on routing: the features page says up to 70 stops, the field-service page says 73 per technician. Its CRM sync list names Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive and Keap; we found no Jobber, Housecall Pro or QuickBooks connection. Its field-service FAQ is candid that it “does not track live availability or auto-assign the work,” and there is no scheduling calendar. It runs in a mobile browser with no app.

Maptive scores 4.7 on G2 across 35 reviews and 4.6 on Capterra across 7. Reviewers cite price for small teams, slowdowns past roughly 10,000 pins, and spreadsheet setup that does not auto-update when the sheet changes. For an appliance shop the question is whether you need analysis, such as where a second van would pay off, or an operating map. Maptive does the first well and none of the second.

Best for: Owners and marketers who want to analyze service territories and customer density, alongside a separate field-service platform.

Map and analysis features

Pros

  • Deep territory, drive-time and heat-map tools
  • High data limits: 100,000 locations per data set on every plan
  • Team plan adds collaboration and a success manager
  • Published prices and a free trial

Cons

  • A separate subscription of $110/mo or more, with no quoting, invoicing or dispatch
  • Spreadsheet data does not auto-update when the sheet changes
  • Mobile browser only, with no app
  • Reviewers report slowdowns with large pin counts

Verdict: Maptive is the right add-on when you need to analyze territories and are already on another platform. It cannot run the day for a repair shop, so it ranks below the tools that can.

Badger Maps — Best for Route Planning Across Fixed Territories

Personal free (up to 120 stops) · Business $58/mo annual, $69 monthly · Enterprise $95/mo annual, $109 monthly (per user)

Badger Maps is built for field sales reps who work a set territory, and it says so. Its own blog describes it as a route-planning app that adds mapping to existing field-service platforms, noting that most field-service software is built for dispatch. Excel and CSV import is documented, and its help article says routes can hold up to 118 stops, while the pricing page lists up to 120 stops for the free Personal plan.

Pricing is per user: Business is $69/mo month-to-month or $58/mo annually, and Enterprise is $109 or $95. CRM integration on those plans needs at least two licenses, and territory add-ons are priced separately: Badger Align is $20/mo per territory with a five-territory minimum. Its CRM list includes HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho and Pipedrive; we found no Jobber, Housecall Pro or QuickBooks connection. Its trial length is inconsistent across pages (14 days on the pricing page, 7 days in a sign-up footer), so confirm before you plan around it.

Badger scores 4.6 on Capterra across 204 reviews (we read one page of them) and 4.7 on G2 across 350. Reviewers cite price, import and export friction with manual re-uploads, limited CRM functionality, route editing and slow mobile loading, and one cited a cap of 23 accounts per route that conflicts with the vendor’s 118. Its field-service page does not mention repair or home-service use.

Best for: Sales reps and territory managers who need fast route planning across many stops, and who already have a CRM or field-service tool.

Map and routing features

Pros

  • Free Personal tier for one-person use
  • Long-route planning that handles about 118 stops
  • Manager views and rep assignment for territory teams
  • Month-to-month billing with no lock-in on the monthly plan

Cons

  • Built for field sales, with no quoting, invoicing or repair dispatch
  • Per-user price adds up, and territory add-ons cost extra
  • Import and export friction with manual re-uploads
  • Trial length differs between its own pages

Verdict: Badger is excellent at sales-style route planning and a poor fit as the main system for a repair shop. Use it alongside a field-service platform if you canvass or manage territories.

Google My Maps — Best for a Quick, Low-Stakes Test

No price stated on Google’s help pages

Google My Maps lets you import a spreadsheet and see customers as pins in an afternoon. It accepts CSV, TSV, KML, KMZ, GPX, XLSX and Google Sheets. The limits come from Google’s own help pages: do not import files with more than 2,000 rows, keep unzipped KML or KMZ files to 5 MB and other files to 40 MB, and expect a layer to hold up to 2,000 lines, shapes or places. A map can have up to 10 layers and 10,000 items.

Sharing is by link or by making the map public, and embedding requires a public map. The help pages we read do not mention route optimization, CRM integrations, territories, radius circles or heat maps, and they do not address commercial use or a price. Google’s separate Maps terms bar redistributing or selling Google Maps content, so check your use case. A competitor’s blog claims slowdowns can begin near 500 points; we could not verify that.

For a repair shop the practical limit is that the map is a snapshot. It does not update when you book a job, it does not know about invoices, and every change means re-importing a file. That is fine for testing whether seeing your customers on a map changes how you schedule. It is not a system you run a shop on.

Best for: Owners who want a static map of a small customer list before choosing real software.

Map features

Pros

  • Accepts the common spreadsheet and map file formats
  • Layers keep customer types separate
  • Easy to share with a link
  • A low-effort way to test the idea

Cons

  • 2,000-row import cap on the help page, with limits per layer and per map
  • No job, quote, invoice or dispatch tools
  • No route optimization or CRM integration found in Google’s help pages
  • Commercial-use terms and price are not stated in My Maps help

Verdict: Use Google My Maps to find out whether a customer map changes how you schedule. Once it does, move to a tool where the map updates itself.

Appliance Repair by the Numbers (2023–2026)

Appliance repair is a small, driving-heavy trade, which is why a customer map pays off. These figures set the scene for the comparison above.

29,950Home appliance repairers employed in the U.S. (employees only; self-employed are excluded) (BLS, May 2023)
$50,640Mean annual wage for home appliance repairers, or $24.35 an hour (BLS, May 2023)
1–2%Projected growth for the occupation from 2025 to 2035, with about 2,800 openings (O*NET)
45.9%Share of U.S. private-sector workers employed by small businesses (SBA Advocacy, Feb 2026)
76¢IRS business mileage rate per mile for July 1 to Dec 31, 2026 (72.5¢ for Jan to Jun) (IRS)
3,000+Service companies supported by the Marcone Servicers Association, with 5,000+ technicians (MSA)

The BLS count covers employees only, while O*NET’s 2025 estimate is 40,500 employees, so the true workforce is larger once owner-operators are included. The mileage rate shows why routing matters: at 76 cents a mile, a tech who avoids 40 miles of backtracking saves $30.40 a day, or about $152 over a five-day week. That is an illustration of the arithmetic, not a measured result for any product on this list.

Which Customer Map Should You Pick? 7 Situations, 7 Picks

If you’re a solo appliance tech starting out

Pick QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99/mo. Atlas is included, so your customers and jobs are on a map from day one, with quoting and invoicing in the same app. You can confirm the fit during the 14-day trial before paying for anything.

If you have 2–4 techs

QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99/mo, 2 users) or Pro ($199.99/mo, 4 users) keeps Atlas and the paperwork together. If a live technician map matters more than a lead and property map, price Housecall Pro Essentials ($149/mo billed annually, 5 users) against them.

If you have 5–10 techs and a dispatcher

This is where team tools matter. QuoteIQ Elite ($299.99/mo, 10 users) adds Atlas Routing, Employees, Route Optimization and Route Density Zones. Housecall Pro Max ($299/mo billed annually, 8 users) and Jobber Grow are the comparison points.

If you run 10–20 techs

QuoteIQ Max ($699.99/mo, 20 users) or ServiceTitan. ServiceTitan’s dispatch map is deeper, and its pricing is by quote; QuoteIQ Max publishes its price. Request a demo of both and bring a real week of jobs.

If you already use another system and want territory analysis

Add Maptive (from $110/mo) for drive-time polygons, ZIP boundaries and heat maps, or Badger Maps if your team canvasses territories. Both sit alongside your field-service tool rather than replace it.

If you sell to property managers and commercial kitchens

QuoteIQ’s Atlas Lead Generator lets you search a ZIP code or drawn area by business type for free and pay only to unlock the list. Property lines are free to view, and owner records are paid unlocks. Confirm current rates in the app.

If you only want to test the idea this weekend

Import a few hundred customers into Google My Maps and see whether clusters change how you book. Treat it as a test. Once you want the map to update itself, move to a tool built for jobs.

How We Picked the Top 10 (Methodology Detail)

  1. Defined what a customer map has to do for an appliance repair shop. We wrote four questions the map must answer: where all customers are, where today’s jobs are, where techs are now, and where unwon leads sit. A tool that answers only one is a schedule with pins.

  2. Built the shortlist from three groups of tools. Seven field-service platforms with maps (QuoteIQ, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Workiz, ServiceTitan, Service Fusion, FieldEdge), two mapping specialists (Maptive, Badger Maps) and one general-purpose map (Google My Maps).

  3. Verified prices and limits on the vendors’ own pages on October 14, 2026. Where a vendor publishes no price we wrote “Custom — contact sales,” and where its own pages disagreed (Maptive’s route stops, Badger’s trial length) we said so.

  4. Read the map documentation and recent Capterra and G2 reviews for each tool. We looked for which plan unlocks each map feature, the documented limits, and the complaint themes reviewers raise about maps, routing and cost.

  5. Ranked the list against the five criteria and added operator perspective. We weighted whole-customer visibility and action from the pin most heavily, then added context from Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers, who have run service businesses.

What QuoteIQ Customers Say

We did not find enough 5-star reviews from appliance repair shops, so these three come from other QuoteIQ users: one pressure washing business and two reviewers who did not name a trade. All three were written before Atlas launched in September 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions About Customer Map Software for Appliance Repair

QuoteIQ is the best choice for most appliance repair businesses in 2026. Its Atlas map shows customers, active jobs and leads on one satellite map on every plan, and each pin opens into an estimate, an invoice or the schedule. Housecall Pro is the closest field-service alternative, ServiceTitan suits larger dispatch teams, and Maptive and Badger Maps are mapping-only specialists.

QuoteIQ runs from $29.99/mo (Essentials) to $699.99/mo (Max, 20 users), with two months free on annual billing. Housecall Pro lists $59 to $299/mo billed annually, Jobber starts at $29/mo billed annually, Service Fusion at $208/mo billed annually, Maptive at $110/mo and Badger Maps at $58 per user billed annually. ServiceTitan, FieldEdge and Workiz publish no prices.

Two partial options exist. Google My Maps is the usual starting point, though Google’s help pages state no price and cap imports at 2,000 rows. Badger Maps has a free Personal tier for individual use, up to 120 stops. Neither handles quoting, invoicing or dispatch. QuoteIQ has no permanent free tier, but every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and includes Atlas from $29.99/mo.

QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99/mo (1 user) includes Atlas, so a solo tech gets customers and active jobs on the map plus quoting and invoicing in the same app. Jobber Core ($29/mo billed annually, $49 month-to-month) and Housecall Pro Basic ($59/mo billed annually) are the nearest alternatives. A solo tech rarely needs the Elite-only team-location tools.

QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99/mo, 2 users) or Pro ($199.99/mo, 4 users) covers most small teams, with Atlas on both. Atlas Routing and Employees need Elite. If live technician GPS is the priority, Housecall Pro Essentials ($149/mo billed annually, 5 users) lists Employee GPS tracking, though its help article says GPS updates only during business hours.

QuoteIQ Max ($699.99/mo, 20 users, $25 for each extra user) and ServiceTitan are the main contenders. ServiceTitan has the deeper dispatch map, including draw-to-assign, while QuoteIQ Max publishes its price and includes Atlas Routing, Employees and calendar Route Optimization. Request demos of both before you decide.

QuoteIQ has iOS and Android apps with a 4.7 average rating across 4,103+ reviews on the App Store and Google Play, and Atlas runs on phones, tablets and desktop. Maptive runs in a mobile browser with no app, and Housecall Pro’s GPS depends on “Always” location permission on each tech’s phone.

QuoteIQ’s InstaSchedule, available on Elite and Max, lets customers book repair appointments themselves at any hour, and you manage them in QuoteIQ’s calendar. Service Fusion’s appliance page lists a customer web booking portal. Maptive, Badger Maps and Google My Maps do not take bookings.

In QuoteIQ, yes. A customer or property pin opens a card with Estimate, Invoice and Schedule next steps, and a lead card can start a deal, estimate, invoice, job, task or reminder. Maptive, Badger Maps and Google My Maps are mapping tools and do not create estimates or invoices.

QuoteIQ combines its calendar with Atlas, and Elite adds Route Optimization and Route Density Zones to show where scheduled work clusters. ServiceTitan’s Dispatch Map 2.0 is the deepest dispatcher tool, while Jobber’s Map View and Housecall Pro’s HCP Map are simpler day-of views.

QuoteIQ includes quoting and invoicing on every plan, and its QuickPay feature (which needs QuoteIQ Payments) creates a payment link and QR code that is saved as a paid invoice automatically. ServiceTitan’s Starter plan also lists invoicing. Maptive, Badger Maps and Google My Maps do not invoice.

Yes, with conditions. QuoteIQ’s calendar Route Optimization and Atlas Routing are on Elite and Max, and they are separate features. Housecall Pro lists route optimization on Max, Jobber on Connect and above (web only), and ServiceTitan for scheduled single-technician same-day jobs. Badger Maps plans up to 118 stops.

Export your customers and services from Jobber as CSV files, then upload them to QuoteIQ through AI Smart Import and the Imports Hub, which are available on every plan and also handle estimates, invoices and jobs. Run both systems side by side for a week, then cut over. Customers with addresses on file can then appear on Atlas.

QuoteIQ is the best alternative if you want a whole-customer map and lead tools on every plan. Housecall Pro has an optional all-customers layer and Employee GPS on Essentials, so compare plans carefully. Jobber is a simpler alternative with a day-view map and routing from the Connect plan.

ServiceTitan publishes no prices and quotes per technician, so the honest answer is to get its quote first. QuoteIQ Max is $699.99/mo for 20 users, Housecall Pro Max is $299/mo billed annually for 8 users, and Service Fusion plans run $208 to $533/mo billed annually with unlimited users. Each has a lighter dispatch map than ServiceTitan’s.

Yes. QuoteIQ’s AI Smart Import brings a customer CSV in on every plan, and Google My Maps takes spreadsheets up to 2,000 rows. Maptive allows up to 100,000 locations per data set, and Badger Maps imports Excel and CSV files. Clean your addresses first, since pins depend on accurate street addresses.

The Bottom Line

For most appliance repair businesses in 2026, QuoteIQ is the best customer map software because it maps the whole business, not only today’s visits, and does it on every plan from $29.99/mo. Customers, active jobs and leads share one satellite map, and each pin leads to an estimate, an invoice or a booking. The honest trade-offs: team locations, Atlas Routing and calendar Route Optimization need Elite or Max, lead and property data are pay-per-use, and Atlas is new.

Housecall Pro is the strongest alternative for live technician GPS, ServiceTitan is the pick for large dispatch teams with a dispatcher in the map all day, and Jobber, Workiz, Service Fusion and FieldEdge are credible suites with lighter maps. Maptive and Badger Maps are worth adding when you need territory analysis or sales-style routing. Google My Maps is a fine weekend test.

Pick the tool that answers your four map questions: where your customers are, where today’s jobs are, where your techs are, and where your next customers are. The 14-day QuoteIQ trial is the quickest way to see your own customers on the map.
