Top 10 CRMs with Door Knocking Apps for Contractors in 2026

Most contractor CRMs stop at the office door. These ten put a knock-by-knock map in your reps’ hands and still track the estimate, the job and the invoice after the door opens. Here is what each one does, what it costs and where it falls short.

Quick Answer

The best CRM with a door knocking app for contractors in 2026 is QuoteIQ. Its Atlas map lets a rep tap a house, drop a status pin and turn that knock into a contact, estimate, task or reminder inside the same app that handles quoting, scheduling and invoicing. Atlas is included on every plan, and plans start at $29.99 a month with a 14-day free trial. Knockio is the closest all-in-one alternative, SPOTIO and SalesRabbit are the field-sales specialists, and JobNimbus and AccuLynx reach the door through integrations rather than a built-in map.

Prices were checked on each vendor’s own pages on October 9, 2026. Vendor pricing changes often, so confirm current rates before you buy.

How We Picked the Top 10

We’re QuoteIQ. We made this list. We also picked our own platform as #1, and here’s exactly why, with the trade-offs each tool brings to the table. Five criteria drove every ranking decision:

  1. Pricing transparency. Vendors that publish prices scored higher than vendors that make you book a demo to see a number. Several tools here are quote-only, and we say so.
  2. Door knocking depth. A pin map is the minimum. We looked at editable statuses, territories or assigned areas, do-not-knock handling, rep tracking, offline use and how a lead leaves the map.
  3. What happens after the knock. A pin only matters if it becomes a contact, an estimate, a job and an invoice. CRMs that reach the door natively rank above CRMs that need a second subscription to do it.
  4. Mobile usability. Reps work from sidewalks and driveways, not desks.
  5. Onboarding, contracts and support. With everything else equal, month-to-month plans beat multi-year contracts with implementation fees.

We did not run hands-on tests of competing tools. Competitor details come from each vendor’s own pricing, product and help pages, plus third-party summaries where we say so, all checked on October 9, 2026. Vendor pages are marketing, so confirm anything that affects a purchase in a demo or trial. When a vendor publishes conflicting numbers, we show both. Market context comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the SBA Office of Advocacy and the Federal Trade Commission’s Cooling-Off Rule.

Who didn’t make the list. We checked the public feature pages for Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan, plus Leap’s roofing software page, and none lists a door knocking, canvassing or pin-drop feature. We would add them if that changes.

One more principle shaped the ranking. Our other Co-Founder, Justin Rogers, put it this way about software in general:

“Most contractors who buy software never turn the automation on. They bought the solution and didn’t use it.”

— Justin Rogers, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ

A map your reps stop opening is worth nothing, which is why criteria three and four carry as much weight as the map itself.

1

QuoteIQ — Best Overall CRM with a Door Knocking App

From $29.99/mo · Atlas included on every plan · 14-day free trial on every plan

QuoteIQ is the contractor CRM we built, and Atlas is the door knocking map inside it. A rep opens Atlas, taps Pin, taps the house and picks a status. Each knock lands on the satellite map as a diamond pin colored by status, and a card opens for notes and next steps. There are seven starting statuses: Not Home, Knocked (No Answer), Contacted, Interested (Follow Up), Not Interested, Do Not Knock and Appointment Set. You can rename, recolor and reorder them or add your own, with names up to 34 characters. The knock list shows counts by status, filters by status or area and exports to CSV.

What separates Atlas from a stand-alone canvassing app is the next tap. A knock can be saved as a contact in one tap, and from that contact the rep starts an estimate, a task or a reminder. Estimates come in four types (standard, quick, good-better-best options and packages), go out by text or email, and can be signed on the spot, because e-signatures on estimates work on every plan. On Beginner and above, MapMeasure Pro measures roofs, lots and surfaces from satellite imagery, so you can price a job from the truck without a second visit. Lead Sources record where each contact came from, so you can tell whether the street you knocked produced customers.

Atlas also finds the next street to knock. The Lead Generator searches a ZIP code, a city or an area you draw, across 16 business groups and 67 business types. Searching is free and shows how many businesses are in the area before you pay anything. Unlocked leads show name, address, phone and website, and they are yours permanently. Leads are ranked by a Route Match Score built from distance to your existing customers, customer density within two miles and fit for your trade. Nothing is sent to a lead automatically. Zooming in draws property lines, lot size is free on every property, and full property details (owner, value, building, zoning, flood zone) unlock by ZIP code, five ZIP codes or a whole state.

Pricing: Essentials is $29.99 a month for 1 user, Beginner $99.99 for 2, Pro $199.99 for 4, Elite $299.99 for 10 and Max $699.99 for 20. Extra users are $25 a month each, and yearly billing saves two months. Atlas is on every plan, while Atlas Routing and Employees need Elite or Max. Lead pricing is tiered per business unlocked (from $0.25 down to $0.12, with a $25 minimum purchase), and property details run $99 for one ZIP code, $299 for five and $997 for a state. The public Atlas page doesn’t list those dollar figures, so confirm current rates in the app before you buy.

Best for: Solo contractors through 20-person crews who want knocking, quoting, scheduling and invoicing in one app and one bill, across any of the 50+ trades QuoteIQ serves.

Standout door knocking features

Pros

  • Door knocking, estimates, e-signatures, scheduling and invoicing share one record and one login
  • Flat plan pricing instead of a per-rep fee, with Atlas on every plan
  • Purchases in Atlas never expire and are visible to the whole team, and employees can buy only if you grant “Spend in Atlas”
  • Published pricing with a 14-day trial on every plan

Cons

  • No documented leaderboards, commission tracking or offline mode in Atlas, so dead zones can slow a rep down
  • Areas are assigned to a teammate rather than managed as formal territories with scorecards
  • Lead and property data cost extra, and owner details are not shown in Idaho, Kansas or South Carolina
  • Routing, the Employees map and Deals pipelines need Elite or Max

Mike Vidan, our Co-Founder, on what wins the job once a knock turns into a quote:

“Speed gets you there first. Specificity closes it.”

— Mike Vidan, Co-Founder of QuoteIQ

Verdict: QuoteIQ is the pick when the goal is to turn a knock into a signed estimate without a second app. If your reps live on leaderboards, territory scorecards and offline maps, a dedicated tool like SPOTIO or Terros goes deeper on the sales-floor side. For most contractor teams of 1 to 20, a map that feeds the quote is worth more than extra gamification.

Knockio — Canvassing and Field Service in One Platform

Prospect $25 · Organize $35 · Growth $60 per user/mo (1 to 4 users); $20 / $30 / $45 at 5+ users

Knockio calls itself an all-in-one field sales and service platform, combining door-to-door canvassing with a CRM, scheduling, routing, dispatching, estimates, invoicing and payments. It is the closest like-for-like rival to QuoteIQ on this list, and it publishes its prices, which most canvassing vendors do not. Its plans split the work in two. Prospect is the sales side, with unlimited territories and campaigns, route optimization, real-time rep tracking, digital contracts with e-signature and an automation builder. Organize is the service side, with pipelines, estimates, work orders, invoices, payments and inventory. Growth combines both and adds a dedicated success manager.

Best for: Contractors who run a dedicated door-to-door sales crew and want service work, billing and canvassing under one login. Knockio lists roofing, solar, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, pool service and home security among its trades.

Standout features

Pros

  • Published prices, no setup fee and no long-term contract
  • Sales and service tools on one platform
  • Rep tracking and territories included from the entry tier
  • iOS and Android apps for reps and crews

Cons

  • Per-user pricing grows with the crew; five people on Growth is $225 a month, close to what a five-person QuoteIQ Pro setup costs ($199.99 plus $25 for the extra user)
  • Offline mode isn’t mentioned on its site
  • Its site lists no free trial, only a demo and free onboarding
  • Estimates and invoicing require the Organize or Growth tier

Verdict: Knockio is the strongest published-price rival and the right shortlist item for a team that cares most about rep tracking from day one. It ranks second because it starts from the canvassing side and adds service tools, while QuoteIQ starts from the contractor workflow and adds the map with flat plan pricing.

3

SPOTIO — Field Sales CRM for Outside-Sales Teams

Custom quote · no published prices · one plan listed on Capterra

SPOTIO is a field sales platform built around territory mapping and rep accountability. Its own comparison pages list territory management, route optimization, a Lead Machine prospecting tool, multichannel follow-up sequences, location-verified check-ins and an offline mode that lets a rep download the day’s work for up to 24 hours. Its roofing roundup describes prospect pinning and canvasser-to-closer handoff as core to the product rather than add-ons, and it offers an integration for HailTrace storm territories.

SPOTIO’s JobNimbus connection runs through Zapier. When a rep marks a lead Qualified or Appointment Set, a contact or job is created in JobNimbus, and details such as roof type, insurance carrier, damage notes and photos can travel with it. When the job is marked sold, the SPOTIO pin turns green. That tells you how SPOTIO is meant to be used: in front of a separate job-management system, not instead of one.

Best for: Larger outside-sales teams, storm-season roofing outfits and commercial prospecting crews with a sales manager who lives in dashboards.

Standout features

Pros

  • Deep territory and rep-tracking tools
  • Offline mode for dead zones
  • Storm-territory and roofing workflows
  • Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 78 reviews on Capterra

Cons

  • No published prices, no free version and no free trial on Capterra
  • A roofing roundup published by SPOTIO lists a five-user minimum
  • The pages we reviewed describe field sales, not estimating, invoicing or job costing
  • Built for sales organizations, so a small crew may find it more than it needs

Verdict: Choose SPOTIO when the knocking operation is a department with a manager, quotas and a separate production system behind it. A contractor who wants the pin, the quote and the invoice in one place will find QuoteIQ or Knockio simpler.

SalesRabbit — The Canvassing Standard, Now with a Roofing CRM

Lite free (1 user) · Team $59 · Pro $75 monthly or $49 annual · RoofLink Pro $120 · per user/mo

SalesRabbit is the best-known door-to-door app on this list, and its integration page reads like a roster of contractor software: JobNimbus, AccuLynx, CompanyCam, MarketSharp, PestPac, HailTrace, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zapier among them. In November 2024 it announced the acquisition of RoofLink, a CRM built by roofers that covers project management, roof measurements, material estimates, document signing and job photos. That moved SalesRabbit from “app that feeds your CRM” toward “canvassing plus CRM” for roofing.

Its pricing page shows the catch. Plans are priced per user, but add-ons stack: DataGrid AI (homeowner data and lead scoring) is $31 monthly or $19 annual per user, and Weather, Mover Leads and Digital Contracts are separate add-ons on Pro. Contracts run one to three years with pricing locked for the term, and an implementation package is required, with Basic, Guided, Premium and Custom tiers that carry no listed price.

Best for: Roofing and storm-restoration companies that want a proven canvassing app and can commit to a multi-year contract.

Standout features

Pros

  • Established canvassing app with homeowner-data and lead-scoring add-ons
  • Integrates with the roofing CRMs most crews already use
  • Free single-seat Lite plan
  • Pricing locked for the contract term

Cons

  • One-to-three-year contracts and a required implementation package with unlisted prices
  • Add-ons raise the real per-user cost well above the headline
  • No trial of paid plans, and re-signing after 30 days brings a new implementation fee
  • CRM depth outside roofing comes from integrations

Verdict: The right pick for a roofing company that already knows it wants SalesRabbit and is happy to sign a contract. Contractors who want to start month to month and keep the map and the quote in one app will do better with QuoteIQ or Knockio.

5

JobNimbus — Roofing CRM That Takes Pins from SalesRabbit

Request pricing · Essentials (up to 3 users), Pro (up to 10), Premium (up to 19), Enterprise (20+)

JobNimbus is a CRM and project-management tool for roofing and exterior contractors, and it has no built-in door knocking map. Its homepage lists no canvassing feature. What it offers is an integration: JobNimbus’s help center describes SalesRabbit as a mobile tool for reps canvassing neighborhoods, apartment buildings or industrial complexes. When a lead is pinned in SalesRabbit, the lead’s information is sent to JobNimbus, arrives with the status chosen in the field, and moves through your sales stages from there. SPOTIO connects through Zapier.

Every JobNimbus plan includes contacts, estimates, documents, e-signature, invoices, financing, supplier and QuickBooks integrations, JobNimbus Payments, the mobile app and API access, and the plans differ mainly in user caps, boards, automations and locations. Pricing is by request. Third-party roundups disagree on what it costs (one lists $99 a month, another $25 to $75 per user), so treat any figure as a guess until you get a quote.

Best for: Roofing and exterior contractors who already run JobNimbus and are adding a canvassing app on top.

Standout features

Pros

  • Roofing-specific workflow with estimates, documents and payments included
  • Works with the canvassing apps roofers already use
  • No setup or onboarding fees listed
  • Open API and Zapier connections

Cons

  • No native door knocking, so the map is a second subscription
  • Pricing isn’t published
  • Each plan has a user cap, and exceeding it means upgrading
  • Marketing and communications bundles cost extra

Verdict: A solid job-management home for pins that someone else’s app drops. If you would rather not pay for two products to cover one workflow, see our side-by-side with JobNimbus below.

6

AccuLynx — Roofing Platform with a SalesRabbit Bridge

Quote-only · third-party roundups cite from about $250/mo

AccuLynx is roofing-contractor software with sales, production and back-office tools, and like JobNimbus it reaches the door through a partner. Its own post says AccuLynx integrates with SalesRabbit Pro: leads transfer automatically, you choose when based on SalesRabbit lead status milestones, leads can carry a lead source tag, and they can be auto-assigned to a lead owner with email and in-app notifications. The post also says managers can map homes for bid and assign those areas to reps or job developers. That post was first published in 2018 and last updated in July 2025. It describes no native door knocking feature, and its pricing page lists none either.

Pricing is quote-only. The pricing page directs you to talk to sales, and a SPOTIO roofing roundup puts the starting point at about $250 a month for core tools, with add-ons costing extra and no free trial. That is a third-party figure, so verify it with AccuLynx.

Best for: Roofing companies already standardized on AccuLynx that add SalesRabbit Pro for the field.

Standout features

Pros

  • Purpose-built for roofing production and sales
  • Clean lead handoff from SalesRabbit Pro
  • Lead source tagging for ROI tracking
  • Supplier and measurement integrations

Cons

  • No native door knocking
  • The integration post doesn’t state plan or pricing requirements
  • Quote-only pricing and no free trial reported
  • Two subscriptions for one workflow

Verdict: A good fit if your office already runs on AccuLynx and your canvassers already use SalesRabbit. Starting fresh, a single product that covers both ends costs less to learn and less to maintain.

Sunbase (Knockbase) — Door-to-Door App with CRM Modules

“From $59 per user/mo,” customized by team size and modules

Sunbase sells a door-to-door app plus optional business modules. Its pricing page has no fixed tiers: plans start from $59 per user per month and scale with team size, industry workflows and chosen modules, which include a Contractor CRM and sales management module, proposals and estimating, project management, inventory and reporting dashboards. Its door knocking page describes target areas that managers create and assign to canvassers by neighborhood, block or street, with GPS, route planning, live location tracking and offline access, plus CRM automation for follow-up emails and reminders. Sunbase reports 11,000-plus users.

A separate site, Knockbase, describes itself as canvassing software for door-to-door teams, with smart maps, auto-routing, lead capture, on-the-spot appointment booking, rep check-ins, leaderboards and a commission calculator. Knockbase’s site doesn’t say the two are the same product, but its login path and Android app ID reference Sunbase, so they appear to be linked. We list them together and suggest you confirm which one you would be buying.

Best for: Contractors and solar or roofing sales teams who want a door-to-door app and are comfortable with a custom quote.

Standout features

Pros

  • Territory assignment, GPS routing and offline use
  • CRM and proposal modules for contractors
  • No stated minimum number of users
  • Starts small and scales by seat

Cons

  • No fixed tiers, so the real price comes from a quote
  • Knockbase and Sunbase branding is confusing and the link is unconfirmed
  • Its door knocking blog post is dated September 2023
  • No free trial mentioned, only a demo

Verdict: Worth a demo for a team that wants territory assignment and offline use and doesn’t mind custom pricing. Ask for the full per-user price with every module you need before you compare it to published plans.

See Sunbase pricing

8

Terros — Pin-Map Canvassing for Door-to-Door Sales Teams

Pricing by demo · no published prices · no free version

Terros is a canvassing app first and a CRM a distant second. Each door is a pin on a satellite map, and a rep taps the door, logs the outcome and moves on. Pin colors and dispositions are customizable, and each account can hold residents, notes, photos and custom fields, with support for multi-unit buildings and business accounts. Managers draw territories and assign them to reps or teams, review area scorecards and watch each rep’s path and live activity during the day. Do-not-knock lists are enforced on every device company-wide, and reps can download territories for offline use. Storm overlays support roofing teams.

Its feature page doesn’t use the term CRM. It describes account records, notes, custom fields and dispositions, and points to an integrations and API page for connecting other systems. Terros says it builds a pricing model around each client’s use case and does not offer a free version, and the product is aimed at solar, roofing, fiber, pest control, insurance and home-services sales teams.

Best for: Door-to-door sales teams that already have a job-management system and want a stricter, more managed canvassing layer.

Standout features

Pros

  • Strong compliance and manager visibility tools
  • Works offline
  • Handles multi-unit buildings and business accounts
  • Customizable pins and dispositions

Cons

  • No estimating, invoicing or job tracking described on the pages we reviewed
  • Pricing is not published and there is no free version
  • CRM depth depends on integrations you add
  • Built for sales teams, so a small crew pays for management tools it may not use

Verdict: A serious canvassing tool for teams that manage reps closely. It ranks eighth only because it stops at the door: the quote, the job and the invoice live somewhere else.

9

RepCard — Team Competition and Canvassing for Sales Orgs

Starter $24 · Pro $49 per user/mo · Enterprise custom

RepCard is built for sales organizations that motivate reps with competition. Its Starter team plan at $24 per user per month includes team chat, basic leaderboards, a team calendar, an admin dashboard and basic reporting. The Pro plan at $49 per user per month adds competitions, advanced leaderboards, recruiting and onboarding tools, a training library, canvassing tools, advanced analytics and API access. Enterprise adds custom integrations and a dedicated success manager.

The canvassing scope is thin on the pricing page, which lists it only as tracking field activity in real time. The page doesn’t describe a CRM either, mentioning lead management with automatic follow-up and real-time alerts. Add-ons are metered: an AI role-play tool is $99 a month, document opens are $1 each, texts are $0.03 each and background checks are $25 or $45. The page shows a “Save 17%” toggle without clearly saying which billing period the displayed prices reflect.

Best for: Door-to-door sales organizations that recruit, train and rank reps and want canvassing bundled into that program.

Standout features

Pros

  • Published per-user prices
  • Strong team-motivation and recruiting tools
  • Free personal plan to try the product
  • No seat minimum listed

Cons

  • Canvassing tools start on the $49 Pro plan
  • Not a contractor CRM: no estimates, scheduling or invoices described
  • Add-ons are billed per use
  • No free trial of the team plans is mentioned

Verdict: A fit for sales-first companies where the rep program is the product. For a contractor who mostly wants the knock to become a quote, it adds motivation tools you may never use and leaves the estimating to someone else.

Ecanvasser — Territory-Priced Canvassing with US Household Data

Core $99/mo · Pro $599/mo · Enterprise custom · unlimited users (calculator shows higher figures)

Ecanvasser prices by the territory you cover, not by headcount. Its page says all paid plans include unlimited users and unlimited teams, and that inviting users won’t cost extra. Core, listed at $99 a month for teams covering up to 50,000 households, includes a mobile canvassing app, territory and team management, route planning (200 stops), custom interaction tracking, dynamic lists, dashboards and appointment scheduling. Pro, listed at $599 a month for up to a million households, adds real-time field tracking, custom branding and API access. The US-only extras include verified household data, tools for apartments and buildings, offline canvassing and print-ready walk lists, with lead prospecting available as a $99-a-month add-on.

The page contradicts itself on price. A calculator section lists Core at $299 and Pro at $1,299, and both plans also show an unexplained “$234 billed monthly” figure, so ask for a written quote before comparing it to anything else. A 7-day free trial is offered on Core and Pro, limited to one per customer.

Best for: Large field teams that cover a lot of ground with many part-time users and want a flat price regardless of headcount.

Standout features

Pros

  • No per-seat cost for large or seasonal teams
  • Territory tools, offline use and walk lists
  • Trial offered on both paid plans
  • Apartment and high-density tools

Cons

  • Published prices conflict on its own page
  • No estimates, scheduling or invoicing described for contractors
  • Real-time tracking is a paid add-on on Core
  • The 7-day trial is the shortest on this list

Verdict: A reasonable pick for a big, seasonal canvassing crew that needs territory data and a flat price. It stays tenth because it covers the knock and nothing after it.

Door-to-Door Contracting by the Numbers (2025–2026)

36.2M U.S. small businesses, per the SBA Office of Advocacy’s 2025 profile, published June 30, 2025 (SBA Advocacy)
$59,540 Median pay for construction and extraction occupations in May 2025, versus $50,980 for all occupations (BLS)
587,000 Average annual openings projected for those occupations, 2025 to 2035 (BLS)
3 days Business days a buyer can cancel a door-to-door sale of $25 or more made at their home (FTC, 16 CFR Part 429)
$200 Fort Collins, Colorado fee for a commercial solicitor permit covering up to four solicitors ($300 for five or more) (City of Fort Collins)

The market backdrop explains why outbound work is on the table. Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies said in its July 23, 2026 release that “Annual spending on home improvements and repairs is expected to continue losing momentum through mid-2027” (JCHS). When fewer homeowners are calling you, a crew that walks a neighborhood and follows up the same day has an edge, as long as the follow-up actually happens.

Knocking also comes with rules. Under the FTC’s Cooling-Off Rule, a seller must give the buyer a duplicate notice of the right to cancel, tell the buyer about that right out loud at signing, and honor the cancellation window. Cities add their own permits. Fort Collins, for example, requires a permit for door-to-door solicitors, limits visits to between 9 a.m. and sunset, and bars approaching homes with “No Trespassing” or “No Solicitation” signs or homes on the city’s No Solicitation list. A CRM does not make you compliant, but a Do Not Knock status on the pin and notes on each address make it easier for a crew to honor those lists. Check your own city and state rules, and ask a lawyer if you are unsure.

Which Door Knocking CRM Should You Pick? 7 Situations, 7 Picks

If you’re a solo contractor just starting to knock doors

Pick QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99 a month. Atlas, estimates, e-signature and the A.I. Estimator are all there for one user, and the 14-day trial lets you test the flow on your own street. MapMeasure Pro starts at Beginner ($99.99). If you only want a pin map for now, SalesRabbit’s free Lite plan covers one seat, though it won’t quote the job.

If you have two or three people

QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99, 2 users) or Pro ($199.99, 4 users) keeps the whole team on one record. Knockio is the comparison to run: three users on its Growth tier is $180 a month at the 1-to-4-user rate, and its Prospect tier is cheaper if your office work lives elsewhere.

If you run a 5-to-10-person crew

QuoteIQ Elite ($299.99, 10 users) adds Atlas Routing, the Employees map, Deals pipelines and InstaQuote on top of the map. Ten Knockio Growth seats at the 5-plus rate come to $450 a month, so run both through a demo with your real headcount.

If you have 10 to 20 people and a dedicated door-knocking team

QuoteIQ Max ($699.99, 20 users) is flat-priced at that size. If rep accountability matters more than the quote workflow, shortlist Knockio (real-time rep tracking on its Prospect and Growth tiers) and SPOTIO (territory management and rep tracking) and compare the totals for your team.

If you run 20-plus reps with a sales manager

SPOTIO or Terros. Both are built around territories, manager dashboards and rep accountability, which Atlas does not try to replicate. Pair them with a production system, and consider QuoteIQ or a roofing CRM for the job side.

If you run a roofing company with storm-season crews

SalesRabbit with RoofLink, or JobNimbus or AccuLynx fed by SalesRabbit pins, matches how many roofing offices already work. If you would rather have one app, QuoteIQ’s MapMeasure Pro measures roof dimensions and pitch from satellite imagery and sits next to Atlas.

If you are tech-resistant and want minimal training

QuoteIQ Essentials keeps it to three taps (Pin, house, status), and the estimate starts from the same screen. SalesRabbit Lite is the other low-effort starting point. Avoid anything that needs a multi-year contract and an implementation package before the first knock.

How We Picked the Top 10 (Methodology Detail)

  1. Listed every CRM and canvassing tool contractors search for. We started from search results and published roundups for door knocking apps, canvassing software and contractor CRMs with lead maps, then dropped tools with no contractor use case or no public product information.

  2. Verified pricing on each vendor’s own pages on October 9, 2026. Where a vendor sells by quote, we say so, and any third-party figure is labeled as one. Where a vendor’s own pages disagree, we show both numbers.

  3. Matched features against eight door knocking requirements. We checked for pins with editable statuses, notes on each pin, territories or assigned areas, do-not-knock handling, rep tracking, offline use, lead export and what happens to a lead after the knock.

  4. Cross-checked public ratings and reviews. QuoteIQ’s 4.7 average across 4,103 reviews comes from the App Store, Google Play and Google. For competitors we report third-party ratings only where we found them, such as SPOTIO’s 4.3 from 78 Capterra reviews.

  5. Added operator perspective from Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers. Both Co-Founders have run service businesses and shaped QuoteIQ’s product decisions, and we quote them only from their published insights pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

QuoteIQ is the best CRM with a door knocking app for most contractors in 2026. Its Atlas map drops status pins on houses and turns each knock into a contact, estimate, task or reminder inside the same app that handles quoting, scheduling and invoicing. Knockio is the closest all-in-one alternative, and SPOTIO suits large outside-sales teams with territory managers. Roofing offices already on JobNimbus or AccuLynx can feed either one from SalesRabbit through an integration.

QuoteIQ runs from $29.99 a month for Essentials, which includes Atlas, up to $699.99 for Max with 20 users. Knockio charges $20 to $60 per user per month, SalesRabbit Pro starts at $49 per user billed annually, RepCard Pro is $49 per user and Sunbase starts from $59 per user. SPOTIO, JobNimbus, AccuLynx and Terros sell by quote. Add-ons such as homeowner data, lead packs and implementation packages can raise the real total, so ask each vendor for an all-in number.

Not a full one. QuoteIQ doesn’t have a free plan, but every plan includes a 14-day free trial, and plans start at $29.99 a month. SalesRabbit Lite is free for one user with limited features, and RepCard has a free personal plan, but neither is a complete contractor CRM. JobNimbus offers a 14-day trial and Ecanvasser a 7-day trial. A free pin map without estimates behind it still leaves you retyping leads into another system.

QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99 a month, because Atlas, estimates, e-signature and the A.I. Estimator are included for one user. Knockio’s Prospect tier at $25 per user is a sales-only alternative, and SalesRabbit Lite is free for a single seat. MapMeasure Pro starts on QuoteIQ Beginner at $99.99, so solo contractors who want satellite measuring will need to step up one plan.

QuoteIQ Beginner ($99.99 for 2 users) or Pro ($199.99 for 4 users) covers most teams of two to five, with extra users at $25 a month. Knockio’s Growth tier is $60 per user at one to four users, which is $180 for three people, so it is the natural comparison. Pick the tool whose map and quote workflow your team will actually use every day, and test both on a real street before you commit.

For 20-plus reps, SPOTIO and Terros are built around territories, manager dashboards and rep accountability, and Knockio offers a Scale tier with custom volume rates for 100-plus reps. QuoteIQ Max includes 20 users at $699.99 a month and works well when the same people also quote and invoice. Teams this size should demo two or three tools with their own data, because quote-only pricing makes list-price comparisons unreliable.

QuoteIQ has iOS and Android apps with a 4.7 average rating across 4,103 reviews on the App Store, Google Play and Google, and Atlas runs on the phone. Knockio lists iOS and Android apps for reps and crews, and SalesRabbit, SPOTIO, Terros and Ecanvasser all offer mobile canvassing apps. Reps use these tools outdoors all day, so test the app on a real route before you sign anything.

QuoteIQ’s InstaSchedule, on the Elite plan, lets customers book themselves around the clock against your real-time availability, and the Appointment Set status in Atlas marks the knocks that already turned into a booking. Most canvassing apps handle appointments on the rep side instead: Knockio, Ecanvasser and Knockbase list appointment scheduling or on-the-spot booking for reps, not self-booking for customers. Ask any vendor whether booking is customer-facing or rep-facing before you assume.

QuoteIQ offers standard, quick, good-better-best and package estimates on every plan, with e-signature, the A.I. Estimator and, from Beginner up, MapMeasure Pro satellite measuring. Knockio’s Organize and Growth tiers include estimates and work orders, JobNimbus includes estimates and proposals on every plan, and SalesRabbit gets estimating through RoofLink. SPOTIO, Terros and Ecanvasser focus on the knock, so the estimate lives in another system.

In QuoteIQ, mark the pin Interested (Follow Up) or Appointment Set, save it as a contact and create a task or reminder from the same card. Filter the knock list by status to build the next day’s list. Other tools use their own statuses and automation builders. Whatever you choose, set a same-day target for every follow-up pin, because as Justin Rogers puts it, speed sets the frame.

QuoteIQ includes scheduling, invoicing and payments on every plan alongside estimates and Atlas. Knockio’s Organize and Growth tiers include invoices and payment collection, and JobNimbus includes invoices and JobNimbus Payments. Pure canvassing apps such as Terros, RepCard and Ecanvasser don’t describe invoicing, so those teams run billing in a separate system. If billing is your bottleneck, favor the tools that put the invoice on the same record as the knock.

Several tools list it. Knockio, SPOTIO and Ecanvasser describe route planning or optimization in their canvassing tools, and Sunbase lists route planning with GPS. In QuoteIQ, Atlas Routing on Elite and Max puts a day’s jobs in the best driving order, and the calendar has its own separate route optimization on Elite and Max. For knocking, you draw an area in Atlas and assign it to a teammate.

Jobber’s features page lists no door knocking, so switching means moving your data and adding the map. Export your clients and services from Jobber as a CSV and bring them into QuoteIQ through the Imports Hub in Settings, which handles contacts, services, estimates, invoices and jobs and has a dedicated path for Jobber services. Run both systems side by side for a week, then cut over. Other vendors have their own onboarding, so ask what they import.

Housecall Pro’s features page lists no door knocking or canvassing, so contractors who knock doors usually pair it with a separate app and a handoff process for leads. QuoteIQ is the best single-app alternative because Atlas is on every plan, and Knockio is the other all-in-one option. You can import customers into QuoteIQ from a Housecall Pro CSV export, so the first street you knock starts from clean records.

ServiceTitan’s public features page lists no door knocking or canvassing, and a SPOTIO roofing roundup describes its pricing as quote-based. QuoteIQ publishes its prices, from $29.99 to $699.99 a month, and includes Atlas on every plan, so a small or mid-size crew can price it before talking to sales. Knockio publishes per-user prices too. Large organizations with complex dispatch needs should still demo ServiceTitan.

Often, though the rules are local. The FTC’s Cooling-Off Rule covers door-to-door sales of $25 or more made at the buyer’s home: the buyer gets three business days to cancel, and you must provide a written notice and explain the right out loud. Many cities also require solicitor permits. Fort Collins, Colorado charges $200 for up to four solicitors and limits visits to between 9 a.m. and sunset. This is general information, not legal advice, so check your city and state.

The Bottom Line

For most contractors in 2026, QuoteIQ is the best CRM with a door knocking app because the map, the estimate and the invoice share one record, at flat plan prices that start at $29.99 a month. A knock that becomes a contact, a quote and a signed job inside one app is worth more than a longer feature list in a second subscription that someone has to keep in sync.

The runners-up each win somewhere. Knockio is the strongest alternative if published per-user pricing and rep tracking matter most. SPOTIO and Terros fit sales organizations that manage reps closely and keep production in another system. SalesRabbit with RoofLink, JobNimbus or AccuLynx remains the default for many roofing offices. Weigh the trade-offs we listed for QuoteIQ too: Atlas has no documented leaderboards or offline mode, areas are assigned to teammates rather than managed as formal territories, and lead and property data are paid unlocks.

The direction of travel is clear. With remodeling spending expected to keep cooling through mid-2027, outbound work and fast follow-up matter more, and the tools that win will be the ones where a knock never gets lost between apps. The 14-day QuoteIQ trial is a low-risk way to test that on your own streets.
