QuoteIQ Testimonials: Real Contractors, Real Numbers

Thirteen home service business owners, named and on the record — a solo exterior cleaner closing 80–90% of his estimates, a soft washer quoting jobs in 30 seconds at the door, a shingle preservation crew turning estimates around in minutes instead of a notes app. Every story lists the operator, the town, the trade and the figures they gave us. Then see what it costs.

Quick Answer

QuoteIQ is an all-in-one field service CRM for home service contractors, starting at $29.99/month, rated 4.7 stars across 4,103 reviews and used by more than 40,000 contractors. The named operators on this page report the results they got with it: Rising Tide Property Solutions in Richmond, Virginia turns 80–90% of its estimates into jobs; Valley Powerwash in Cleveland closes about 70% and spends roughly one hour a week on paperwork; Top Tier Washing in North Carolina builds an estimate in two to three minutes, down from a couple of days on spreadsheets; Jump 2 It Pressure Washing quotes jobs in as little as 30 seconds while door-knocking; and Two Guys No Truck in Denver books moves overnight through InstaQuote. What they have in common is satellite measurement through MapMeasure Pro, AI-assisted estimating and automatic review requests through Review Multiplier — on plans that include unlimited users at the top tier rather than charging per seat.

The Short Version

What These Thirteen Contractors Actually Reported

TL;DR: These are not anonymous star ratings. Thirteen named home service owners across exterior cleaning, gutter services, roof coating, electrical and moving sat down with us and gave real operating figures. The pattern is consistent: estimate time collapses from days or hours to minutes — or even seconds — close rates land between 30% and 90%, and weekly admin drops to one to five hours. The tools doing the work are MapMeasure Pro for satellite property measurement, the AI Estimator for building priced quotes on the spot, InstaQuote and InstaSchedule for self-serve booking, ClientHub for keeping customer messages out of a personal phone, invoicing with online payment, job costing for real margin, and Review Multiplier to keep Google reviews arriving without anyone remembering to ask. BrightLocal’s consumer research is blunt about why that last one matters for a local trade, and the U.S. Small Business Administration makes the same point about systemising operations before you scale. Pricing runs $29.99 to $699 per month with a 14-day free trial on every plan.

Why we publish the operator’s name

Every story on this page names the business, the owner and the city, and links out to the company where one is public. That is deliberate. A five-star rating from an anonymous handle proves very little; a Cleveland pressure washer who will put his name next to a 70% close rate is proving something. If you want the raw, unfiltered volume instead, all 4,103 app store ratings live on the QuoteIQ reviews page.

How to read this honestly

These are self-reported operating figures from interviews, not audited accounts, and they are not a promise about what any other business will achieve. Three owners did not track weekly admin closely enough to give a number, so the table says so rather than guessing. What is worth noticing is the direction and the consistency: ten businesses, four trades, seven states, and every one of them describes an estimate that now takes minutes — several in well under one. Compare that against the industry backdrop the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports for cleaning trades, where most firms are small and the owner is also the estimator, the scheduler and the bookkeeper.

Pattern One

The Estimate Stopped Being an Errand

Before QuoteIQ, several of the operators on this page described the same routine: take the call, drive out, walk the property with a tape or a wheel, drive home, open a spreadsheet or a Word doc, type it up, email it, wait. Kyle Reeves at Top Tier Washing measured that round trip in days. Andrew Domzalski Jr. at Valley Powerwash was doing it on pen and paper. Chris Utz at C&C Pressure Wash Pros priced the whole thing differently — he stopped driving out at all.

What replaced it is MapMeasure Pro, which measures a roof, driveway, deck or fence line from satellite and aerial imagery, and the AI Estimator, which turns those square footages into a priced, branded quote against a price book the owner set up once. Tyson Beane at Rising Tide preloads his rates, pulls up the aerial view, and has an estimate out in about five minutes without leaving the shop. Utz does it while the caller is still on the line, which is the entire reason he wins jobs a slower competitor never gets a shot at.

The version of this that surprised us most is Brock Vancil’s. Two Guys No Truck builds a moving estimate in under a minute from saved estimate templates rather than from scratch, then lets InstaQuote handle the ones that come in overnight. A customer priced their own move at 2 AM and it was on the calendar by morning. For an operation that is franchising nationally, that is the difference between a founder who is the bottleneck and a system that runs without him.

Two of the more recent additions push the same pattern further. Mason Shady at Clear Flow Gutter Services used to spend roughly thirty minutes hand-drawing a gutter estimate before he could send it; the same job now takes him about five. Keith Jump at Jump 2 It Pressure Washing skips the office step entirely — his rates and measurement tools are already on his phone, so he can price a job while he is standing on the customer’s porch, sometimes in as little as 30 seconds.

The number that matters

Every single operator reported a top-end estimate time of five minutes or less — and at the fast end, Two Guys No Truck and Jump 2 It Pressure Washing both get there in under a minute. Speed is not vanity here. It is the mechanism behind the close rates in the table above, because in home services the first credible quote usually wins. Pair it with QuoteIQ Cam for job photos and Before/After AI for the proof shots that close the next one.

Pattern Two

The Back Office Shrank to an Hour a Week

Domzalski reports about one hour a week on admin and paperwork. Utz reports about two. Vancil, running a four-person crew and a franchise rollout, reports three to five and says it is down significantly. Keith Jump at Jump 2 It reports a similar four to five, and Roman Bovard at Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis keeps it to a few hours a week. These are not people who hired an office manager — they collapsed the tools instead. Estimating, invoicing, scheduling, customer records and payment all live in one place, so nothing needs re-typing from one system into another.

Preferred Electrical Services is the clearest case of what that consolidation buys you. They came off QuickBooks, where the accounting worked fine but the field work did not. Now Seth Russo builds an estimate from the truck against a preloaded electrical price book, the office approves and sends it within minutes, and permit information and pool-inspection forms are captured in the same app through inspection forms and QuoteIQ Cam instead of on paper that has to make it back to a desk. For a licensed shop juggling service calls, permits and inspections across residential and commercial work, that is the whole job.

The Small Business Administration makes the same argument in less colourful language: small firms that systemise financial and operational recordkeeping early spend materially less time on it later. The contractors here got there by accident, because they wanted faster quotes and the paperwork reduction came along with it. Add job costing and the business analytics dashboard and the same records that saved the time start telling you which jobs actually made money.

What consolidation replaces

Between them, these ten businesses came off pen and paper, spreadsheets, Word documents, Square, Google Calendar, a phone notes app, a basic invoice app and QuickBooks — NanoRoof Michiana among them, moving off manual math in a notes app. One of them, Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis, never had anything to replace at all — Roman Bovard started his business the same year QuoteIQ launched and has never run it on anything else. Nobody replaced one CRM with another CRM — they replaced a stack of half-tools, or in Bovard’s case, nothing. If you are running that stack now, the competitor comparison hub is the honest place to start, and the full feature list shows what one app has to cover to make the swap work.

Pattern Three

A One-Person Shop That Reads as a Real Company

Four of the nine featured businesses are deliberately solo. Rising Tide is one person by choice and intends to stay that way. Valley Powerwash is one man quoting commercial and fleet clients who would normally expect a crew and an office behind the phone number. Roman Bovard at Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis and Keith Jump at Jump 2 It Pressure Washing run the same way, each without ever hiring a second person. All four told us versions of the same thing: the software is what makes a solo operation legible to a customer who is deciding whether to trust it with a building.

The mechanics are unglamorous. A branded estimate that arrives as a proper document rather than a text message. Automated email and text follow-ups so a quote does not die in silence. ClientHub, which keeps customer conversations inside the business instead of on a personal cell, and a self-scheduling link that lets someone book without a phone tag exchange. Kyle Reeves at Top Tier put it plainly: professional quotes are what seal the deal, and a small crew going after bigger commercial work cannot afford to look like a side hustle. Mason Shady at Clear Flow Gutter Services hears close to the same thing from customers directly — they tell him his estimates look more professional than the competition’s.

Then there is the review engine. BrightLocal’s annual consumer research has been consistent for years that local buyers read reviews before they call, and in a trade where every competitor claims the same thing, the star count is the tiebreaker. Review Multiplier fires a request automatically after a paid invoice, which means the owner never has to remember to ask — and, importantly, never has to ask awkwardly. Tyson Beane runs a mental checklist twice a day; the reviews are one of the things he no longer has to keep on it.

Also worth knowing

Valley Powerwash’s work has been featured on Fox 8’s New Day Cleveland. C&C Pressure Wash Pros is veteran-owned and grew into a 3,000 square foot warehouse in three years. Two Guys No Truck has been operating for over a decade and is now franchising nationally. Clear Flow Gutter Services runs a seasonal Christmas light installation business alongside its gutter work. Both Roman Bovard and Keith Jump got into their trades after watching QuoteIQ’s own founders’ early YouTube content, before the software was even fully launched — they count themselves among its earliest customers. These are not brand-new businesses looking for a first system — they are established operators who picked a tool and stayed on it.

Larger crews lean on EmployeeHub for assignments and GPS, Pipelines & Deals for forecasting, inventory management for materials across trucks and warehouses, and Virtual Call Team to answer the phone when everyone is on a ladder — which, given how small the typical firm is across the repair and installation trades, is most of the working day. Clear Flow Gutter Services also leans on Before/After AI to mock up seasonal Christmas light installs before a single strand goes up, and NanoRoof Michiana runs inspection forms with attached photos on every job, something owner Ben Yoder says he never had before switching. There is also an AI website builder if the business still does not have a proper site.

Your Trade

Not in One of These Four Trades?

QuoteIQ is built for home service work generally, not for a single trade, and the stories above happen to be the ones that were ready to publish. The same estimating, scheduling and review machinery runs pressure washing, soft washing, window cleaning, lawn care, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, house cleaning, pest control, tree care, concrete, handyman and general contracting work, among more than fifty trades in total — gutter services, the newest addition to this page, is one more.

If your trade is licensed and permit-heavy, the Preferred Electrical story is the closest analogue — the National Electrical Contractors Association and its equivalents in other trades all point at the same administrative load, and it is the part most software handles badly. If you are a solo operator wondering whether a CRM is overkill at your size, read Rising Tide, Valley Powerwash, Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis and Jump 2 It Pressure Washing first; all four of them are one person, and all four are the reason the Essentials plan at $29.99 exists. And if you want to see the raw numbers rather than the narratives, the surveys and case studies hub collects the data work.

One more thing worth saying out loud, because contractors ask: nobody on this page was paid for their story. They were asked, they said yes, and they were sent the draft before it went live. If you run on QuoteIQ and want to be next, you can leave a review here or get in touch with the team. If you would rather look at the product before the proof, the tutorial library and the free blueprints are both open.

The four solo businesses — Rising Tide, Valley Powerwash, Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis and Jump 2 It Pressure Washing — are the profile Essentials and Beginner were built for. Two Guys No Truck is four and franchising, which is where unlimited users on Max stops being a nice-to-have. Full plan-by-plan detail, including what unlocks where, lives on the pricing page.

Questions

What Contractors Ask Before They Switch

Named contractors report faster estimates, higher close rates and less weekly paperwork. Tyson Beane of Rising Tide Property Solutions in Richmond, Virginia turns 80–90% of his estimates into jobs and builds each one in about five minutes from an aerial view. Andrew Domzalski Jr. of Valley Powerwash in Cleveland closes about 70% and spends roughly an hour a week on admin, having come off pen and paper. Chris Utz of C&C Pressure Wash Pros runs 10–12 estimates a day at peak season by quoting callers on the spot with satellite measurement. Michael “Kyle” Reeves of Top Tier Washing went from quotes that took days on spreadsheets to two or three minutes. Brock Vancil of Two Guys No Truck in Denver builds a moving estimate in under a minute and lets InstaQuote book jobs overnight. Seth Russo at Preferred Electrical Services moved a seven-person licensed shop off QuickBooks and now builds estimates from the truck. Roman Bovard of Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis has used QuoteIQ since he started his business in 2023 and has never used anything else. Mason Shady of Clear Flow Gutter Services cut his gutter estimates from about thirty minutes to five. Keith Jump of Jump 2 It Pressure Washing quotes jobs in as little as 30 seconds while door-knocking. Ben Yoder of NanoRoof Michiana cut his estimate time from up to 15 minutes of manual figuring to just a few after switching off a phone notes app. Beyond these interviews, QuoteIQ holds a 4.7-star rating across 4,103 app store reviews, all of which are published unedited on the reviews page. Independent context on why local reputation matters this much is available from BrightLocal’s consumer review research.

The contractors on this page report close rates between roughly 40% and 90%, and every one of them attributes it to speed rather than to a better sales pitch. The mechanism is simple: in home services the homeowner is usually collecting two or three quotes, and the first credible, professional-looking one sets the anchor. Chris Utz of C&C Pressure Wash Pros prices the job while the caller is still on the phone using MapMeasure Pro satellite measurement, so there is often no second quote to compare against. Tyson Beane at Rising Tide sends an aerial-measured estimate in about five minutes and converts 80–90% of them. Two Guys No Truck removed the human delay entirely by letting customers self-quote through InstaQuote at any hour. The other half of the equation is not losing the quotes you did send: automated email and text follow-ups chase unanswered estimates without anyone remembering to, and Pipelines & Deals shows which ones are still live. Presentation matters too — Before/After AI and QuoteIQ Cam put proof of past work inside the quote itself. The SBA frames this as basic operational discipline, and it is: the software just makes the discipline automatic.

Under five minutes for every operator interviewed for this page, and as low as 30 seconds for the fastest. Top Tier Washing reports two to three minutes per pressure-washing estimate, down from “a couple of days” when quotes were assembled in spreadsheets and Word documents. Rising Tide, Valley Powerwash and C&C Pressure Wash Pros all report about five minutes, and Clear Flow Gutter Services cut its gutter estimates from about thirty minutes to five the same way. Two Guys No Truck builds a moving estimate in under a minute by working from saved templates rather than starting from a blank quote each time, and Jump 2 It Pressure Washing quotes jobs in as little as 30 seconds while standing at the customer’s door. The time saving comes from three things working together. First, MapMeasure Pro measures the property from satellite and aerial imagery, so nobody drives out with a wheel or a tape. Second, the AI Estimator applies a price book you configured once, so square footages become line items automatically instead of being priced from memory. Third, estimate templates mean recurring job types are never rebuilt. Preferred Electrical Services runs the same pattern with a preloaded electrical price book so nobody re-types line items from the truck. Once the estimate is approved it flows straight into scheduling and invoicing without being re-entered, which is where the second block of saved time comes from. The Bureau of Labor Statistics notes how small most firms in these trades are; when the owner is also the estimator, minutes per quote compound fast.

QuoteIQ, starting at $29.99 per month for a single user on the Essentials plan. Four of the nine businesses profiled here are deliberately solo and all four make the same argument: a one-person operation needs software more than a crew does, because there is nobody else to catch what falls through. Tyson Beane runs Rising Tide Property Solutions in Richmond as a one-man business by choice and has been on QuoteIQ since the day he launched, closing 80–90% of estimates. Andrew Domzalski Jr. runs Valley Powerwash alone in Cleveland, quotes commercial and fleet clients, and keeps his back office to about an hour a week. Roman Bovard runs Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis solo and has used QuoteIQ since 2023 without ever trying another CRM. Keith Jump runs Jump 2 It Pressure Washing alone in Greensboro, North Carolina, and quotes jobs in as little as 30 seconds standing at a customer’s door. What a solo operator actually needs is a short list: fast estimating via MapMeasure Pro and the AI Estimator, invoicing with online payment, ClientHub so customer messages do not live on a personal phone, InstaSchedule so booking does not require answering, and Review Multiplier so the Google profile grows without a marketing habit. Add Virtual Call Team and the phone gets answered while you are on a roof. Compare that against per-seat competitors on the comparison hub, and read the SBA’s guidance on managing finances for why single-operator recordkeeping is worth getting right early.

QuoteIQ runs from $29.99 to $699 per month across five published plans: Essentials at $29.99 for one user with 500 IQ Credits, Beginner at $74.99 for two users with 1,500 credits, Pro at $149.99 for four users with 3,000 credits, Elite at $299 for ten users with 5,000 credits, and Max at $699 for unlimited users with 8,000 credits. Annual billing is two months free, and every plan includes a 14-day free trial — a credit or debit card is required to start. The number that changes the total is seats. Competitors in this category typically charge per additional user on top of the plan price, which is why the same crew size can cost very different amounts depending on the vendor; QuoteIQ Max includes unlimited users at a flat rate, which is the reason a franchising operation like Two Guys No Truck can add locations without the bill tracking headcount. The other variable is add-ons: capabilities that are sold separately elsewhere, such as pipeline tracking, review automation and an AI call answering service, are included on QuoteIQ plans rather than billed on top. Full detail sits on the pricing page, and side-by-side breakdowns are on the Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan comparisons.

Eight of the nine businesses on this page migrated from something, and none of them came from a competing CRM. Valley Powerwash came off pen and paper. Top Tier Washing came off spreadsheets and Word documents. Two Guys No Truck came off Square and Google Calendar. Preferred Electrical Services of Western New York came off QuickBooks and was running normally within three months. Clear Flow Gutter Services came off pen and paper. Jump 2 It Pressure Washing came off a basic invoice app with no measurement tools. The ninth, Exterior Cleaning Solutions St. Louis, never had anything to migrate from — Roman Bovard started his business on QuoteIQ the same year the software launched. The practical sequence for everyone else is the same: start a trial, load your customer list, build your price book once, then run the new system alongside the old one for a couple of weeks so nothing depends on a clean cutover. Setting up the price book is the step that pays for itself — once your services and rates are in, the AI Estimator and MapMeasure Pro can build a priced quote without anyone typing line items. Accounting does not have to be abandoned: QuickBooks syncing is available on Pro and above, so the books stay where your accountant expects them while the field work moves. From there, turn on scheduling, invoicing and Review Multiplier in that order. The tutorial library walks each step, and the SBA business guide covers the recordkeeping side of a migration.

Three questions decide it in practice: how you price a job, how many seats you need, and what is included versus sold separately. On pricing a job, the operators here chose QuoteIQ specifically because measurement and estimating are native — Tyson Beane said plainly that he picked the specialist over the bigger names because it was dedicated to his trade, and Chris Utz said he researched service-industry CRMs and jumped in once QuoteIQ was viable. If your work is measured by square footage or linear feet, satellite measurement feeding an AI estimate is the difference between a five-minute quote and a site visit. On seats, Jobber’s published plans include a fixed number of users with additional users billed at $29 per month each (verified on getjobber.com/pricing, August 2026), while QuoteIQ Max includes unlimited users at $699 — which matters most for franchises and multi-crew operations. On what is included, check whether review automation, pipeline tracking and AI call answering are in the plan or are paid add-ons, because that is where advertised prices and real bills diverge. Detailed, sourced breakdowns live on the QuoteIQ vs Jobber, QuoteIQ vs Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ vs ServiceTitan pages, with the full set on the comparison hub.

There are three places, and they serve different purposes. This page holds the long-form case studies: thirteen named businesses with the owner’s name, city, trade and operating figures, each linking to a full interview. The QuoteIQ reviews page holds the volume — 4,103 verified ratings averaging 4.7 stars, published unedited and filterable by platform, which is where to go if you want to read what people say when they are not being interviewed. The surveys and case studies hub holds the data work: aggregate research across the contractor base rather than individual stories. Ratings can also be read at source on the Apple App Store and Google Play listings, neither of which QuoteIQ controls. If you would rather ask a working contractor directly, the partner directory and the user community are open, and the press and media centre collects outside coverage. Customers who want to add their own story can leave a review or contact the team about being interviewed.

How to Get Started with QuoteIQ

The same four steps every contractor on this page went through.

3

Measure and Quote a Real Job
