QuoteIQ’s BIGGEST Update Ever (Complete Walkthrough) — 25:12 · Uploaded Feb 6, 2026 by ForeverSelfEmployed

QuoteIQ just shipped its most significant platform update to date. Build 801 (Version 2026.02.05) delivers AI capabilities that no other field service management software offers, alongside dozens of screen redesigns and workflow improvements that make running your contracting business faster, smarter, and more efficient than ever.

In a comprehensive 25-minute video walkthrough, QuoteIQ co-founder Justin Rogers (ForeverSelfEmployed) breaks down every new feature, screen change, and capability packed into this release. Whether you’re an existing QuoteIQ user or exploring field service management software for the first time, this update sets a new standard for what contractor CRMs can do in 2026.

Below, we’re covering every major feature and change from the update — organized so you can jump directly to what matters most for your business.

AI Features Now Available on Every QuoteIQ Plan

The centerpiece of this update is the expansion of AI across the entire QuoteIQ platform. Every subscription tier — from Essentials at $29.99/month all the way up to Max at $399.99/month — now includes AI-powered tools fueled by IQ Credits. No separate AI add-on purchases required.

QuoteIQ’s subscription page has been completely redesigned for transparency. Every feature within every tier is clearly listed, and hovering over any question mark icon provides an instant description of what that specific feature does. A new compare plan feature lets you view two plans side-by-side to see exactly what each one includes.

📞

Before & After Generator

✍️

AI Autocomplete

AI Autopilot: ChatGPT for Your Entire Business

AI Autopilot is the flagship feature of this update, and nothing like it exists in any competing field service management platform. Think of it as ChatGPT — but with full context on your entire business and the ability to take action inside your CRM.

In the walkthrough, Justin demonstrates creating a complete estimate by simply typing: “Create an estimate for Albert Einstein. For a housewash, $200 and a driveway cleaning, $150.” Within seconds, Autopilot pulls up the customer’s contact information, builds the estimate with the specified services and pricing, calculates tax, and offers to send it via email or text — all without navigating a single screen.

But it doesn’t stop at estimates. After creating the estimate, Justin asks Autopilot to schedule the job. Before doing so, he toggles the globe icon — which gives Autopilot access to the internet — and asks for the next day’s weather forecast in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Once he confirms no rain is expected, he tells Autopilot to schedule the customer for Sunday at 9:00 AM with a 1:00 PM end time. Autopilot creates the calendar event, and Justin then instructs it to send an appointment confirmation text to the customer.

The entire workflow — estimate creation, weather check, job scheduling, and customer notification — was completed through conversation without ever leaving the Autopilot screen.

💡 Pro Tip from Justin

“If I wasn’t recording this video, I would click into here, click the microphone, and just speak directly into it. It’s my favorite way of doing it. I talk right directly into the software and it does everything for me.”

AI Autopilot features 35 integrated tools and can perform virtually anything you’d do manually in QuoteIQ: creating and sending estimates, generating and sending invoices, adding contacts, scheduling jobs, following up with customers, summarizing your dashboard data, giving your business a health score, and identifying inefficiencies. It’s available on every QuoteIQ plan through the IQ Credits system.

The IQ Credits System: How AI Usage Works

All AI features in QuoteIQ operate on a credit-based system called IQ Credits (IQC). Every plan includes a monthly allocation of credits that reset each billing cycle. Your credit balance is displayed on every AI feature screen in the app, so you always know exactly where you stand.

Plan Monthly Price Users Included Monthly IQ Credits
Essentials $29.99/mo 1 user 500 IQC
Beginner $74.99/mo 2 users 1,500 IQC
Pro $149.99/mo 4 users 3,000 IQC
Elite $249.99/mo 7 users 5,000 IQC
Max $399.99/mo Unlimited 8,000 IQC

If your team needs more credits than your plan provides, you can either upgrade to a higher tier for a larger monthly allocation or purchase additional credits outright. No contracts, no hidden fees — QuoteIQ remains month-to-month on every plan.

Scheduling and Calendar Improvements

Calendar Preview When Scheduling from Estimates

When scheduling a job from the estimate screen on the web version, you now get a live calendar preview alongside the scheduling form. Previously, you were given only the date and time picker with no visibility into what was already on your schedule. Now, you can see your existing appointments, check employee availability, and find the right time slot — all without leaving the estimate you’re working on.

Redesigned InstaSchedule with Calendly-Inspired Interface

QuoteIQ’s InstaSchedule feature — which lets customers self-schedule after signing an estimate — has been completely redesigned. The new interface takes inspiration from Calendly, one of the world’s most popular scheduling tools. Customers see your company branding, a clean calendar showing available dates, and time slots that reflect your actual availability. The friction of back-and-forth scheduling messages is eliminated entirely.

Route Density: Zone-Based Schedule Control

The brand-new Route Density feature is a powerful companion to InstaSchedule. It solves a real problem for service businesses: what happens when a customer in one part of town self-schedules on a day when you’re working in a completely different area?

With Route Density, you define service zones on a map and assign specific days to each zone. For example, you might set Boca Raton for Mondays and Tuesdays, West Palm Beach for Sundays and Thursdays, and Boone Beach for Tuesdays and Saturdays. When a customer in Boca Raton uses InstaSchedule, they’ll only see the days you’ve designated for their area — preventing scheduling conflicts and reducing windshield time.

🗺️ Coming Soon

Route Density will be integrated directly into the calendar view in a future update, where it will suggest optimal days for scheduling based on the job location and your zone configuration.

Route Optimization by Employee and Crew

The existing route optimization feature now lets you filter by specific employees or crews. Previously, route optimization ran against all jobs for the day. Now, if you want to see the optimal route for just one employee’s jobs, or for a specific crew’s schedule, you can isolate their route and optimize accordingly.

Sales Team Tracking in EmployeeHub

A major addition to EmployeeHub is the new Sales Tracker. For any business with multiple employees creating estimates and closing jobs, this gives you full visibility into your team’s sales performance — all in one place.

The Sales Tracker shows how many estimates were created by each team member, how many invoices they generated, their conversion percentage from estimates to paid invoices, and the total revenue they brought in. You can set a commission percentage per employee, and QuoteIQ will automatically calculate how much each person has earned, how much has been paid out, and how much is still owed.

Every estimate and invoice created in QuoteIQ now displays the initials of the employee who created it in the top-left corner. This tagging system makes it easy to see at a glance who’s bringing in business and who might need additional training or support.

InstaQuote Gets a Dedicated Analytics Dashboard

QuoteIQ’s InstaQuote — the customer self-quoting tool — now has its own fully-featured analytics screen. Previously, InstaQuote estimates were mixed in with all other estimates, and there was no easy way to segment or track their performance.

The new InstaQuote dashboard includes form view analytics (how many people are seeing your InstaQuote), quotes sent and their average value, conversion rate from quote to paying customer, top services being requested, a segmented view of all InstaQuote submissions separate from standard estimates, acceptance rate tracking, and the ability to import pre-built service templates with questions.

There’s also a new QR code generator for your InstaQuote link. Download the QR code and add it to truck wraps, uniforms, yard signs, door hangers, postcards, or any marketing material — giving customers a direct path to quoting themselves for your services.

Mass Invoicing for Faster End-of-Day Billing

The new mass invoicing feature lets you select multiple completed jobs and create invoices for all of them at once. No more clicking into each individual job to generate an invoice one at a time.

Justin noted that a future enhancement will bring mass invoicing directly into the calendar view — allowing you to click on a day, select all jobs for that day, and create invoices for every single one with a single action. That feature is expected in an upcoming release.

Screen Redesigns and Visual Improvements

This update includes a significant number of visual refinements across the platform. QuoteIQ’s team clearly invested in making every screen feel modern, consistent, and easier to use.

New Navigation Bar

The top navigation bar on the web version has been cleaned up. Buttons have been reorganized, and three new quick-access icons sit in the top-right corner: a shortcut to AI Autopilot, a settings menu with light/dark mode toggle and access to all settings pages, and a notifications bell.

Redesigned Invoice Screen

Invoices are now displayed in a card-style layout instead of the previous list format. Each card shows key information at a glance, and you can take direct actions — edit, duplicate, view PDF, send a payment reminder, mark as paid, or send via multiple channels — right from the card. Filter tabs at the top let you sort by pending, subscription, or paid invoices, with the total dollar amount shown for each category.

Redesigned Expense Screen

The expense tracking screen has been updated to the same card-and-table format being rolled out across the platform. You can view, edit, delete, and link expenses to schedule events — all from a cleaner, more information-dense layout.

Enhanced Form and Documentation Screens

Inspection forms, job forms, and before-and-after picture archives now display in a more visual format instead of simple icon boxes. You can take actions directly from the screen — share, duplicate, export, edit, or view any form without extra navigation.

Updated Company Profile

The company profile screen has been visually refreshed, and a new license number field has been added. Many contractors need their license number to appear on every outgoing estimate, invoice, and form. Now, entering your license number once in the company profile automatically attaches it to all outgoing documents from QuoteIQ.

Dashboard Date Filtering

Dashboard analytics now support extensive date filtering: this year, last year, specific years, last 30 days, last 90 days, lifetime, and fully custom date ranges. If you need to pull performance data for any period, the controls are now there.

Estimate Card and Line Item Improvements

Estimate creation cards have been visually refined for a cleaner look and better use of space. You can now add images to individual line items within an estimate (currently one image per line item, with multi-image support coming in the next update). The unit pricing views for square footage, flat rate, and other pricing types have also been polished.

Time Tracking Enhancements

The time tracking screen inside EmployeeHub has been updated with a new layout. You can now clock in directly from the screen, add manual entries, export CSV reports, and toggle between personal time and employee time views.
